How did you get a white centre console? What model do you have?
So I have a 2020 Tesla Model 3 and my center consul is painted white to match the seats
As I can see you can bend the strip for the center console, did you warm it before?
Great question… I thought about heating it up a little bit just to bend it, but I didn’t have to. The strip does have a little bit of bend in it already…. So no need straight out of the box. You can just put it in there without having to heat up anything. Very simple install… and I’ve had zero issues with these lights. Definitely recommend them. They are awesome.
Where is the video for center consol wrapped? I mean i love the white center console, how did you do that? Where can i get it?
Make sure you subscribe. I got a lot more videos coming out but great question I did not film me doing that… basically those are carbon fiber pieces that have been painted white to match the seats

I have a 21 witn rhe older center console like yours. Which kit did you ordee? They have a couple of choices.
they sent me out one long strip for the dash and then two shorter ones for the center console..

What was the point of tapping in to the rear if you still plugged it in that console?
It’s plugged in the rear only … I just have the cable routed through the console so it looks clean so you don’t see the cable running :) … if you want you don’t even have to tap into the rear and you can just plug it in to the center consul outlet, but it’s not auto on and off. That’s why I chose to go with the rear. I’ve had it for months now, and it’s never a worry, and it always works. :)
so how did you connect to the power cord and OBD connector? I don't know why but there's never a full instruction online hah.
I showed you every single step.…. With the OBD connector, The only connector I had to deal with was in the back and I show that part in the video, I did not have to run anything to the main computer underneath the dash.
Mines a 2020 so I don’t need to run the cord to the front mine plugs in directly in the rear … I think that’s what you’re asking
@@SHOTTYTV Did the center console and the dashboard have its own controller unit or they share a single controller unit?
@@johnabis1 not sure what you mean by own controller but it’s a total of three strips of light each having to plug in
Did all the cables fit in where the OBD connector if not where you put the cables ?
What year is your Tesla model three? It looks like you have the same center console as my 2019? The kits on the website say they’re made for the center. Console of the 2021 and newer? Thank you. I’ve really appreciate it.
Hi, mines a 2020 so I have the same center consul as you … if you click the link in my bio, the kit will work with our center consul. Technically it will work with either Model you have … so if you have a 2021 and newer it’ll still work :)

Does your ambient lights still turn off when you close the door and stay off until you open the door again? Another review for this exact product said he had to wait 10 minutes for the lights to turn off when he closed the door
Great question and that’s why I filmed it. Make sure you watch the whole video because I show exactly what you’re asking in this question…. I show in the video that you can open and close the door, and the lights turn off within seconds

@SHOTTYTV Thank you. Yes I saw that part in the video but wasn't sure if maybe a firmware update stopped it from working. Other reviewers said you had to wait 10 minutes once you exit the car and it will come back on when the car awakes from sleep. Also evbase themselves are telling me I need the 60s auto switch adapter on their website which is also why I am confused.
@@johnabis1 mines a 2020 maybe with the newer versions you need to do more stuff but I highly doubt it … all you need to do is plug into the cable in the back and everything should work and turn on and off when you close the door I’ve had zero issues . :)
He wired it to the OBD at the back so it turns on and off with the car. The other install with the round puck is the sensor which will take awhile to respond. It's your install choice.
Sucks you have to use a app on ur phone to control it. Would be nice to be have it just turn on whenever u start the car and turn off automatically when you get out of the car
I do not use an app at all to turn it on and off… it automatically turns on and off when you open and close the door… no app control needed whatsoever… your comment is incorrect lol make sure you watch the video. I show you when I open my door. It turns on and when I close my door it turns off. :)

doesn’t have anything for the doors and the strip too short on the dash if not it would be perfect
They do not at the moment, but you could custom do it with the same lights… I may attempt too
