The dlc in botw drops your frames by from 30 to like 27 per second

I LOVED watching swsh speedruns once the dlc came out - the rng of what Pokémon you’d get in the raid dens and how people would adapt accordingly made each run feel different and more fun to watch - plus having a strong Pokémon made the way things were done so much different from other Pokémon speedruns, such as move choice being optimized for speed in many cases over power, as with thrash as mentioned in this video.
the fact you can get a legendary like 30 minutes into the game with crown tundra is crazy
But it's kinda fun... using a Legendary to crush the gyms reminds me of back when I hacked the original games to use legendaries.... but no hacks this time...
I'd like to say that Pulse did not mention that he was going to say Arca-nee-nay over my runs and with that knowledge I might have heavily considered not letting him use them 😠

You don't have to get fly to go to the isle of armor or the crown tundra, you can just take the train back as soon as you see a glimpse of the wild area and initiate the slowpoke fight and travel to the dlc areas

How was your trip through another dimension?
I pretty much did the speedrun with Suicune to get the other Regi with a 2nd playthrough on a different account. Didn't realize you can lose to Peony so I traded in mons from my main game and brute forced the fight while dealing with disobedience 💀💀💀
I'm playing through pokemon sapphire quickly to get items I missed in emerald and this moveset makes me feels super jealous look at all those useful attacks before level 50.
The Chemical Plant music thrown in there midway through caught me off guard in the best way

I am not agains dlc, since they always made a third game after the first 2 that you needed to buy to get the remening stuff. So when you play the version with the dlc is like playing the emerald/platinum version of the base game. Of course it changes how the game is played

I think you made a slight error on the date Isle of Armor was released, it came out in June of 2020 not January.
God dammit lmao. See I had the correct date in the first 5 seconds of the video, but I think I think my lack of sleep while editing this screwed me over on the second mention. 😭
To this day, i still don’t know why, but if you don’t have enough badges to have pokemon under level 70 obey you, the pokemon form the raid den will still obey you including the legendaries
The only Pokemon who disobey you if your level isn't high enough are traded Pokemon. If you're the original trainer, they will obey you regardless of level.

I remember when I got first place on a Galarian Star Tournament Speedrun, when I was testing a new setup for an auto-timer.
I have never heard someone mess up arcanines name before till now. But this was a funny way of it being said
I never beat that tournament at the end. I tried shiny hunting regieleci, and never got it, and then SV came out, so I just kind of missed out on a lot of content, since it’s locked behind that.

Those level catching limitations are stupid. Its a new hunting license version added ON TOP of routes being blocked for reasons than storyline events or not defeating teams/villains.

13:42 I can’t tell whether getting Hop’s name wrong was intentional or not.
I want to finish the pokedex, but found out some dlc pokemon are save exclusive (like the 2 new Regis), so this looks like a great way to blast through the game quickly so I can get the other Regi (and any other save exclusive pokemon) on another file, and just trade it in Home.
Just think, Scarlet and Violet's DLC will DESTROY speedrunning.

I don’t care how bad these games are and always will be, I hold Sword dearly, because despite how mid it is it gave me so many good times.
Technically DLC was in since gen 2 in japan with the gs ball, and gen 3 in the states with the mew ticket 😅

I picked cinderace and it was the only pokemon before post game that never fainted and although there are others that haven't fainted after the main game story cinderace still haven't fainted lol
