I must admit, it takes a while to build in survival, unless you conveniently have the materials. But, the building looks great, and I love the look of it.
So a friend of mine keeps asking me to build a Japanes style build in my survival village, i just cleared out an island and i'm busy building this, this is by far the best japanes style house/build on YT, thank you.
lowkey an odd build regarding materials but i swapped in materials and it came out great. i used warped blocks for the pris blocks, stone bricks for the bone blocks, acacia was replaced with dark oak, thanks for the great build (4 hours to build on survivial)
Nice to hear an Aussie voice! I built this in my One Block Skyblock world, but changed the inside around as I'm outfitting it as my house and storage. I decided early on what colours I wanted, and in the end was so grateful I'd kept everything the one block threw at me. I went for a dark oak, prismarine, and quartz block palette, with sea lanterns, and emerald blocks instead of gold blocks. It took me a fair while to build in survival. Otherwise it looks like yours outside, apart from forgetting the anvils and hoppers, so it's a less imposing spire. Thank you so much for the hard work you put into this tutorial!
I just built this also on a survival server. took me 18 hours to build a 27x27 version and added three more floors to house Gnembons Mob farm. Thank you so much, this is the third building of yours as this types of build seems to be unique on our server
I’m working on this right now and I appreciate your steps. I’m low vision so hearing what type of blocks to use is so helpful because a lot of the time I can’t tell the textures apart. :D thank you!
What a build! This looks great in our worlds - thank you so much for the tutorial. For those building in survival consider replacing the red nether bricks with fortress bricks and the prismarine with copper. It took awhile to age but looks great now.
I've built 1 reacher Japanese village house and one peasent, still working on that village(it's in creative, I get bored wit no friends in survival). Now I want to build town and this is going to be my town hall
It took me a while to build this in survival. Instead of the pumpkin and melon farm I used K1's item silo inside turned out phenomenal thank you keep up the good work.
for survival builds, i usally use shroomlights instead of sea lanterns, and copper instead of prismarine. takes a while to get the right colour, but looks pretty good
In survival you can swap -> Smithing tables for polished deepslate. Gold for Yellow terracotta, Bone block -> White concrete. I didn't & I regret it as I can't really tell the difference with the vanilla texture pack. Great build, but super expensive in survival :D
Damn, just finished it. Started in survival but gave up and changed it to creative so I could get all the materials. It's so much bigger than what it looks like in this lol
I just built this in survival using the new cherry wood instead of acacia and nether brick instead of the prismarine and it is absolutely beautiful and took me forever lol but worth it
i feel sorry for whoever tries to build this in a survival world, it will be hell to get that much prismarine, you'd need to demolish an entire ocean temple.
I built this in my world in the new cherry blossom biome. I did change some of the blocks because of resource gathering tho. I changed: Bone blocks --> Quartz blocks Yellow coral --> Yellow wool Dark prismarine --> Warped wood Otherwise, this looks great!
Hello! I’m new to this, but can I use red nether brick to replace the dark blue and birch instead of acacia? I’m trying to make something with birch, and I was hoping that the color scheme would still look good
I get this was meant to be a cover up for a redstone contraption but I'm using this is my regular base I swapped a block pallet to fit my nether base idea so basically I removed a lot of the blocks that changed them with nether blocks now that I finally finished the exterior I need to work on interior basically I need to add a wallpaper a staircase up to the little balconies and some other stuff like that furniture comes last
Lot of hard to get resources, Red Nether, Prismarine, Lots of acacia, and lots of smithing table's. Think i need to do some exploring before i start. :)
To build this in survival took me around 6 hours in total and another 3 to get all the resources but it works and is great thank you.
how did you get so much prismarine in that time?
@@cameronmacmillan2243 maybe erasing an hole underwater "Dungeon" (sry i dont know whats the name of it)
@Elise Mejia its called an ocean monument
it must have been hard to get the red sand, that only is in rare mesa biomes
........ I did it in 2 hours

I finished it today it’s very cool took me 2 hours 😂🔥
In creative? I’m making mine in survival
It’s taken me 13.5 hours so far in survival (that’s collecting resources as well) 😂
SAVVAN your crazy 😂
Snowy I literally just finished 14 and a bit hours finally paid off it look mega
SAVVAN Nice man 👌🏼
Love the colour contrast with the acacia wood and the dark prismarine.
sama
I used a combination of quartz and nether brick for the structure and red nether bricks for the roofs. It looks more realistic.
This is awesome i love to build pagodas, they're such pretty structures and i love the colors you chose

did it get nuked

I want to build this in my Japanese inspired city, buts it’s completely dwarfed by everything else, is it expandable upwards?
Yeah, each level is the same size so just repeat a few of them
its taken me a whopping 5 hours to get all of that resources
Same😂😂
so how does it feel do be the first sit of the elite ten?

i legit am building this as we speak and have had to replace a bunch of items since i don't have any of this... lol
@@raulpasillas3140 may i ask what u used instead of prismarine cause i have no clue
It took me a week to do this in survival hard mode 😅😅 totally worth it! It looks amazing
Thank you so much for the materials list!
Beautiful building to hide ugly farm is exactly what I was looking for!
It took me a while to build this in survival. Instead of the pumpkin and melon farm I used K1's item silo inside turned out phenomenal thank you keep up the good work.
Would you ever consider doing a version with a full interior?
Did this in my hardcore world took me freaking 7 hours because trips to the nether for The bone blocks was not an easy task... WORTH IT
just craft bone blocks!
first time building something this big and it only took me three hours!! you explained things so well, my audhd brain is very happy
I really underestimated how long this was going to take but this a really good looking temple and I used this build for a hide and seek map
Props to anyone who started a fresh world in survival just to make this
Very helpful for noobs like me in creative who don’t know how to build 😂🤗
Tysm !!! ❤️❤️
And donezo, This one really adds to my Japanese zone of my town (this is the only zone I have as of rn.)
Sad hours when you're on a 1.8 server struggling to substitute the majority of these blocks for other ones whilst on survival :')
that's rough buddy ik how that feels
Alicia Reynolds I finished it tho. I mean its not terrrible
It took me two days to collect and build it all, but it was worth it. What a beautiful pagoda.
This looks perfect for a massive trading hall 👌🤩 planning out my survival Japanese village/biome
Added this to a cyberpunk city I was making, thank you!

True. Same thing I thought of at the beginning, really annoying. But a part of that a really good video and it looks great!

Just remembering my placignore
ah finnaly done!!! Took me like 4 hours
the entire minecraft community: Powered by Ilmango.
I wonder how Chinese Hexagonal pagodas would work... Diagonals are difficult!
I replaced some materials because I couldn't find most of them, it still came out looking lovely as heck
Thanks for the awesome build
Hello! I’m new to this, but can I use red nether brick to replace the dark blue and birch instead of acacia? I’m trying to make something with birch, and I was hoping that the color scheme would still look good
You can use whatever blocks you think look good :)
Cortezerino, Alright! So far, I’ve been liking the nether brick - birch thingy, so I’ll keep it. Thanks!
have you uploaded a separate tutorial on the pumpkin/melon farm?
Got bored, Ive decided to do this, but on a much smaller scale.
Hey. Thanks you for that. Well explained video and easy to follow. Cheers!
Always wanted to build one and this was the best I've ever seen, it's awesome
it took 2 hours to make with getting all the resources but its done and im happy:)
luckily i'm building it on a server where you can just
buy materials but still in survival. which took about 3hours.
thank god for guardian farms bro

Yooo thank you for making this Video
im making this in 1.13 where i dont have walls except for cobblestone what is a good alternative
I customized the build a little bit so for the whole thing I used oak wood, dark oak, spruce wood, and stone brick then I added two more levels to it
For interior what could u do and how should I make levels with a stair case a water elevator?

How did you build those steps down to the other building in the begginging of the video?
Im just finishing this in my 1.16.4 survival vanilla server and I swear I'll put the dragon's egg on the top of he building instead of the wither one
do you have a suggestion for another block instead of smithing tables
Yeah, some of the new 1.16 blocks would look great. Try mixing different kinds of blackstone or basalt together.
Thanks man
