Hi Ethan. The very small upstairs room was the sewing room. Back in the good old days large and wealthy families had seamstresses that came in and made all the clothing for the kids, teens and woman with mens shirts and casual clothing. Men mostly bought suits. Often, but not always, the seamstress was housed for the entire time and room and board was part of the payment. In very wealth households permanent seamstresses were employed for daily needs. This included clothing and all home goods like sheets. towels etc.
Hey Ethan, Here's hoping that 2023 will bring you 100K subs. You deserve that. You put so much work into this channel and your adventures and videos are awesome.
Hey Ethan,I love this house.I agree with a little renovations it would be beautiful again.Thank you for showing us what your passion is and that touring old homes
A real nice house Ethan. I'm glad you went back before it gets demolished. Really hoping the features will be salvaged. Looking forward to a new year of great adventures with you Ethan.
Me and my husband recently became fans of your abandoned mansion videos. Please don't stop saying "What is up, guys" in the mirrors. You mentioned a couple of times you get hate for it, but it's one of the things that make you unique and quirky and we think it's hilarious that you feel compelled to do it every time.
I TOTALLY remember this house! I wld SO live in it! Mirrored walls, doubled ovens and all! 😁 I think it is beautiful! I DO hope they pull out some of the flooring and things before they level it! Thank you for the awesome explore! So glad you were able to show it one last time....before it went to old house heaven.
Nice job Ethan! I think my favorite room was the pink bathroom. The tile reminded me of my bathroom growing up. Glad you didn’t run into the raccoon. Looks like the raccoon had his own house tour.
Happy New Year Ethan. This home is so nice. The hardwood floors and fireplaces are beautiful. So sad that it is going to be demolished. I must have missed the 1st time you showed this house. Thank you for showing it again. 😍
Such a beautiful old mansion! Thanks for showing the exterior, love the brick, it is a beautiful classic design! It's always a shame to lose one of these great old pieces of architecture.
Why would the McMansion people build a "junk" house when they could have renovated the real deal across the way. With some updating plus rehab that would have cost less and last a heck of a lot longer this mansion would shine again. This is more than a shame Tigre7 but criminal to my mind. As you pointed out the loss of a classic mansion. Plus such a waste of materials and effort.
I was just looking at real estate in the Durham region in ontario and I was blown away!! I grew up in Pickering and lived in Oshawa through high school. I now live in California. The home prices there are worse than here!! Wild.
Happy New Year Ethan. I pray 4 your great success in the coming year. Loved this house all the vintage stuff. The world won't see homes like this again. Ramshackle crap is the name of the game now, complete decay in 20 years. Thx 4 a good explore. Much luv. Stay safe
They would have to demolish it cause of the water damage in some of the rooms. Too bad! Renovation spectacular Ethan! I guess you came in from the back of the house to get to the garage. I agree about all black bathroom. Needed to be black and white to loghten up space. The masterbath I loved. The soaking tub, shower?, only single sink could've been double. Just the hall the bedrooms upstairs. The basement had the water damage. But all in all a very nice renovation. Loved the original bath. Pink my favorite color!!!
Really beautiful house! Glad to see it wasn't trashed. The only other thing is all those mirrors! I'd be startling myself at every corner thinking there was someone there! Thanks for sharing.
That house was in really good condition shame it's getting torn down. The revisits are good this one was not damaged which is good like the last revisit you did with saying that thanks for the tour now go get warm lol!!!!
We had our pipes freeze for the 1st time since I moved in November 2016. Thanks for chirper notice. My dog that was most bothered by the sound passed away in October 2022. The other one is not a fan but doesn't go bananas.
Awesome house Ethan !! Simply Gorgeous Lots of mirrors lol love the hardwood floors such a shame its gotta come down i wonder what the cost would be to fix it up ? Probably too much ♡ eh ? Merry Xmas & Happy New Year !! Best wishes for 2023 !!
I love this older home. It looks like it was well cared for. The quarters with the small bedroom could have been the mother in law quarters or maybe a rental . Using part of your home as rental isn't a new thing well to do people even in the late 1800's did exactly that. Thanks for showing this old beauty before it's gone. So sad this is going to happen.
That staircase is very modern but really nice. That wood looks light and as it is not grainy it looks like maple how ever the wood on the floor is grainy looks like oak Hexi 6 octi 8 Some very nice fire place in this house, another very nice large house with a nice atmosphere thanks for the video
Hi has Ethan. Great house. I wish we could have seen the black bathroom in all its glory. Bet it looked cool. My sister had a flat once that had 1 bathroom black and a second one red. Was really bright. Strange choices IMHO. Fix the water damage and it would be great. Beautiful floors. Sad to see it discarded. Thank you so much. Be safe and many blessings. 😃
Love your videos and this type of RUclips content. I’m also from Ontario as well. I have very little background in audio/video but if you ever need a hand shooting content or anything else give me shout!
I agree! Basements are creepy. That black bathroom was way creepy. The pink bathroom was so cool! Now all you get is white. No choices unless you’ve got lots of money. Nice house. What a shame to tear it down! The quality in that house is superb. The new construction will be cheap. It won’t last 10 years.
Ethan what a bazaar house its a tale of sides the basements are separated by all things a sauna, the upstairs are seperate by a corridor door and strange placement of the main bathroom next to the master. And the dual ensuite i dont know who can like black tiles but i bet the shite can be easily be disguised when it hits the ceiling. I wonder what naughty kids got the two basement bedrooms. And the servants bedroom well a shoebox is bigger wouldnt see this sort of behaviour these days about equal rights. Thx for the revist that addition looks like it was great room possibly the servant stairs and the laundry typical redesign of a millionaire who had no design concept.
Nice house, still in great shape. At least the raccoons are enjoying it ! Those five sided sinks are "pentagon" shaped. A "two piece" bathroom would be called a "half bath" if it has no tub. If it has a shower, it would be a 3/4 bath... and it's only a full bathroom if there's a tub. Kind of strange.
Sometimes I look at certain house designs and can't help but wonder why they would do that. The stairs to the basement being right at the front door would be a disaster for someone to like me that is a clutz. I'd have fallen down them weekly! Staircase is beautiful though. The house is gorgeous. It's to bad someone doesn't want to love it and live in it. Tons of beautiful details. The wood floors, double ovens, big rooms. The fireplaces! I'd love there in a minute., Minus the water damage. I've been looking for a house like this and haven't found one for sale in my area.
Two houses in Bayview/York Mills area, just south of Junior Academy private school, boarded up with demo wall outside, tape them before they are demoed!
Hey Ethan..Happy new year gawjus boy 🥂🎉..love this house, agree bit creepy in places...can't wait to see what you got for us 💥...hope 2023 brings us all good fortune ...stay safe ,well and warm 😘💋
Happy New Year! Ethan! "What's up, guys"! Love it when you say that! You saying that makes my day and that phrase is just you! Don't ever stop saying that. My day gets better after I hear you say that! I love this house! It has alot of great features in it. It doesn't look like it needs to be demolished. Everything looks new in it. Only saw a little water damaged in it. It looks like someone can live in this house. I don't understand why they want to demolish it. Thank you, Ethan for all your hard work you do for us. You are my great RUclipsr! Keep up your awesome work! Waiting for you to hit 100 sub (fam)! From Roberta Aday, WMAT, Whiteriver, Arizona.
This is a beautiful house but all black bathroom that’s is creepy if I bought the house I will definitely change the colors because that just look scared
Glad the raccoon didn't hang around to say Hi! 😅 It certainly visited the whole house, maybe had a party there. Thanks for the update and revisit. 👏👍❤🇺🇸
The neighbors are probably upset because it is now out of place with all the newer nicer houses. It's a shame that it cannot just be fixed up to look newer. Maybe they can reuse the hardwood floors on the new house. And maybe keep the basement and build over it.
Although you've been here before, this is my first time seeing it. And I must say "it's good to see a revisit without a vandal" .. it's a very beautiful home. And of course it's a shame to see another beauty coming down. 😢 So much character and beautiful French doors throughout. The amazing mirrored fireplace, very unoriginal.. 🦝 hope not lol ... I love the stair railings, uniquely different. Thank Ethan, I actually remembered the 1st walk through now that I see the full black bathroom lol Thanks again anyway!
I love this old mansion. But I agree with you I don't like 😞 the black bathroom. I like the door nob with flowers 💐 on it. I wish that they wouldn't tare the house down. Thanks for sharing 👍 😊 😀

We all want you to be safe. Consider every step and what you are entering could have long term effects. Plus a serious risk of other health hazards. Dirty needles , or Fentanyl. You could run into a drug crazed angry squatter or an armed owner who ends up shooting someone. There are lead based pains that are unsafe to breathe around . You should all wear masks anyways. Just be careful. No thrill is worth a life. I own a few nice properties and have allowed a few urban hunters into one of our places. He and the people he was with were extremely careful with items we have in the Home. We were getting ready to restore it due to its historical importance. So they were able to take pictures of what it looked like before. We have had problems in a vacation property we own where some I would say teens destroyed old stain glass windows pooped on the floors and left broken bottles all over the property as well as paint some of our walls. So not everyone who enters these homes are of sound mind or are not bent on destroying as much as possible.
Beautiful staircase love those windows the wallpaper love it and when you showed us the house from outside from a different angle love it when ya say ...what's up guys 😊.
Love your vids..but you passed right over the tiles in the basement shower...got a glimpse of yellow. Bet they were AWESOME. Thanks for the tour. Dont let your passion go
It’s a nice house but it just didn’t feel homey. Kind of cold and sterile. I really don’t like the all neutral colors look. That one bedroom had that bright blue closet and I can’t help but wonder if the room was originally a bright color too. I realize that some people repaint everything neutral shades when they go to sell a house and of course you don’t know what the buyer is planning on doing with the property or they might just bypass repainting if they know it’ll be knocked down.

Wow thank u for this I love history and know a lot but I did not know this.
Very interesting, thanks.
So very true. Just recently I have noticed that in some random movies/tv shows (period)
This 66 year old grandma enjoys your appreciation for these beautiful old homes.
Hey Ethan, Here's hoping that 2023 will bring you 100K subs. You deserve that. You put so much work into this channel and your adventures and videos are awesome.

I have to agree too! He the best! And he makes me laugh

Once again a beautiful home getting torn down. Ugh. Such a shame. Great explore Ethan!!! 🥰🥰🥰
A real nice house Ethan. I'm glad you went back before it gets demolished. Really hoping the features will be salvaged. Looking forward to a new year of great adventures with you Ethan.
House like this don't need to be torn down .The house should be on the market to be in the best interest of a buyer.
Me and my husband recently became fans of your abandoned mansion videos. Please don't stop saying "What is up, guys" in the mirrors. So many beautiful homes that just with some updating could be made incredible again! Thanks for showing us!!!
The black bathroom would be great for adding art deco fixtures and lighting!!
six sided shape is called a hexagon...beautiful place Ethan! Thanks!

Trying to catch up on watching videos. Happy New Year. Good job. Thanks.
Ethan, It;s a shame that they're tearing it down, Cause it isn't in that bad shape at all. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Hugs n Love to you
It must have been lovely in its heyday. Wish I could have seen it when it was first built. The renovations that were done ruined it. Nice job Ethan.
They don't build houses like this anymore. There meant to last a lifetime. It would be a shame to tear down this house.
This home is beautiful but a shame it will be demolished. Glad you went back. Have a great day 😊

🙌 Ethan is on RUclips 🙌 loving these Abandon Mansions 🤗 Did they ever get back on your House?
Jenn Aire is for indoor grilling! They were really popular in the 60s
Thanks Ethan! Yes the black bathroom is too much! But a great beautiful home. So grand in it’s time.!looking forward to the new explores.❤️
Hey Ethan, thank you for showing it again before it gets torn down...it's a beautiful mansion on the outside
Nice home. You've gotten so much better videoing . no camera shake and don't seem so rushed. Great job!
Hey buddy I just have to know did you get the house you wanted? Been praying you would!
It's such a shame to demolish this 😞.

Thanks for another awesome video. Love watching them.
I agree the black bathroom would trip me out. I definitely would not be comfortable taking a shower.
If they demolished this house it doesn't make sense 😒 🙄 😑
Totally agree there! I guess what "rich" folks consider old and dated and what I wld consider un-liveable are 2 completely different things!! 🤔
I agree, all that money into that house, just flushed 😳 and wasted...what the hell.
@@cristinhopkins2748 they just have to have taxpayers money
Right! Sad to see it sit and waste.
@@kimberlylott1459 it's being demolition
The sinks are hexagon. Hexagon = six sides; octagon = 8 sides.

Bet the Jenn Air is a down draft unit. No hood needed. Another very liveable home. Like the staircase and great floor plan.

Hi Ethan!
Happy New Year!!
Keep up the great work that you do!!!✌😘🎊🎊
Yes I totally understand you with the rain, Northern Ontario here, we always says at least you don’t have to shovel rain, lol

What's up Ethan?!! Great work! What a massive house 😳
It’s literally like 6 fire places , huge home 😊
I don’t understand all the mirrors. The outside of the house reminded me of an older schoolhouse in the 1940’s or ‘50’s. Great job Ethan!

Hi Ethan .I enjoy watching your vlogs .I that is awesome that your channel is growing .keep up the great work
Oh my gosh so many mirrors. Ethan thanks for the video.
Very cool house I think I kind of remember seeing this one before the outside reminds me of the home alone house
Looking forward to seeing your new video
Awesome house 👍☺️
Too bad!!! So many homeless and this is sitting. Or people who need homes instead of living on top of each other. Heartbreaking when they tear down.
Hope you had a amazing holiday and happy New Years
I love this house, it would be so cool to live there.
Beautiful house 🏠 what a waste.
Why would they demolish this beautiful home?
Gottta have good knees for those stairs. Beautiful and roomy home. I wouldn’t want to be the housekeeper or maid. Nice video.
This is a beautiful house but all black bathroom that’s is creepy if I bought the house I will definitely change the colors because that just look scared
Hello from Quebec. I giggled when you said "probably a raccoon". I wonder what your Australian "equivalent" would have said. "Probably a koala..."
