So yes I would agree… most of their designs (the ones that aren’t straight up rip off copies of real watches) are some of the most awful designs I’ve ever seen…. But at LEAST they’re original! Seinharts are mostly rip offs..
I bought a Steinhart 47mm B-Uhr about 16 years ago when bigger watches were more of a thing and IWC had not long brought their Big Pilot out as a nod to their history. Azimuth had a near identical model (the Jagdbomber) out at the same time but it was about 4 times the price of the Steinhart. When comparing the two, each had the same case dimensions (and look), the same crown, the same ETA manual movement, the same hands, crystal and dial layout. The ONLY difference was brand name and minor printing on the dial. I thought the Azimuth dial looked a bit better but not 4x the price better, and such a small cost vs an IWC, Laco, Stowa, Lange & Sohne or Wempe, and so went for the Steinhart. Granted, it was a homage, they didn’t have the history of the 5 WW2 German pilot watch makers, but neither did they charge the earth. It was about £250 and looks great on a yellow NATO (which is more comfortable than the leather strap it comes on) and is a solid piece with a historic and bold look and an excellent, simple movement. I even liaised directly with Gunther Steinhart when purchasing and he was very helpful and easy to deal with. One other plus in current times, it’s clearly not a Big Pilot and nothing like any of the other watches that gain unwanted attention, so it actually means I can wear it round town with far less fear of unwanted attention than anything else. They have (or certainly had) their place. Not commenting on tbe line up now however. Just saying I got a bargain and have enjoyed it far more than it cost.

Yet, if you judge people for wanting to get a nice experience but don’t have 10.000$ or more to spend on jewelry, you should really take a long look in the mirror and check your privilege
Steinhart quality is far better than Rolex 50 years ago.
PAGANI design is next 😂
1. Steinhart does what Tudor did in the 1960s until the 2000s.
2. Steinhart is the best Rolex / Flieger / etc hommage brand, period.
3. They use high-end Sellita movements, which is a plus for the Swiss industry.
Is it wrong because the money they make is not going into Rolex’s or IWC’s empty pockets ?
I won’t cry for Rolex or IWC whose business is to rip off rich snobs and which has no creativity whatsoever for centuries.
If Steinhart was doing something illegal they would be sued already.
Steinhart is starting to do their own designs and they are pretty nice so I think Nico might need to rethink if they keep doing the original stuff
Invicta are easily the worst watch brand by a looooong margin
So yes I would agree… most of their designs (the ones that aren’t straight up rip off copies of real watches) are some of the most awful designs I’ve ever seen…. But at LEAST they’re original! Seinharts are mostly rip offs..
Not really, they don’t charge you an arm and a leg for an homage unlike Steinhart.
@@soh_show669 invicta's watch designs are a crime against humanity
@@bohab787 yeah some are. but the homages aren’t bad especially for the price, but that’s just my opinion.
@@soh_show669 a few normal looking watches does not excuse invicta's war crimes
What do you think about pagani design?
I disagree on the steinhart. I own two and they are great value for money.
It's the same thing with some companies selling custom seiko watches
Atleast its affordable
i have a steinhart aviation. i think it's the only design the did that isn't a homage and is the only one that isn't for sale anymore.
Good movement, affordable, and great quality watches. If someone can’t buy a Rolex, why would they settle for rubbish when they could get a spot-on homage? 😂
Doesn't help that the Aquaman at the bottom is right next to you big boi.
This guy is the James corden of watches
I’m so glad I clicked on this. I love my Steinhart 😂
Steinhart are sweet.
Hublot sighing relief today 😂
About time you came for Steinhart, was wondering when it was our turn.
Still gonna keep dailying mine, nobody but enthusiasts give a shit anyway.

Steinhart is really well made. Also they have their own watches as well. I own Rolex’s and a couple steinharts idk what he’s talking about

Steinhart is awesome! F the big brands
Friends don't let friends buy Invicta
“The king of shit is Hublot” preach brother preach
And here I am with a $160 Seiko 😂😂. And I love it.
I always thought it was invicta
I saw the title, in my head I said “ hublot for sure” and he says hublot 😂
But….. do they steal Hublot? 😂🤣😂
Steinhart makes unbelievable watches for the money. However its kinda sad that they have so few original designs or even real homage watches, most designs are just straight up copies
I hope Nico sees the Rolex copies by Fossil 🙏🏻
I bought a Steinhart that is a homage of the Rolex Explorer II Ref 1655 from the 1970s. I’m sorry I don’t have $35k in disposable income to buy the real thing.
Make a video about the gyro watches
I sold my collection of 133 invicta watches and have currently bought 4 steinharts
Homage watches.
Homage is when you make your own out of an preexisting design, but this is a straight up copy...
Rolex copied the other existing divers on the market by Blancpain and Squale
@@fark69 .....look at the fifty fathoms and the submariner, they are two very different watches that have almost nothing in common other than their purpose. The Steinhart on the other hand is almost a 1:1 copy and is definitely violating intellectual property rights....

Never ever ever let anyone tell you what watch to wear. Real watch enthusiasts and watch lovers will say, wear what you like and what makes you happy.
Only Tudor gets the pass to do that lol
funny thing is I test drove my submariner first by getting a steinhart. I've always loved the kermit but I like ceramic bezels as well. so i bought a sub homage with a green ceramic bezel........six months later rolex intrduced the "cermit", so who is copying whom?
I could easily go out drinking with this dude.
How About Diesel?
Thoughts on Invicta? I know they steal designs also but some automatic pro divers they have are amazing for 80$.
Fossil also do the same look at its models it resembles to some famous watch brands
If it's cheap and well done. It'll always have my support
Normally, 42mm diameter and 14.1mm thickness would be wearable on my wrist but this one doesn’t really fit under a shirt cuff. 41mm of diameter with a thickness of no more than 13mm would be ideal from my personal perspective.
Lets see if Steinhart make a Hublot clone…then I think we know what Nico would like for Christmas 😂😂😂
Most divers look like submariners. Give people what they want bro.
If you can afford a >$5,000 watch, I don't want to hear your opinion on homages. They aren't for you.
Not everyone can afford a Rolex bud.
Well that settles that. I’m ordering an Ocean One vintage red
It sells for almost 100 now on ali
Even better, Pagani designs. Great value
These comments are obv people that wear stein heart
Rolex fanboy in denial of the 90% of the way there of quality of Rolex. Do you also agree with this RUclipsr than Grand Seiko is shit without proving it like a complete clown? Go watch high end watch reviewers and retailers showing how the grand Seiko is actually built better and runs better and more accurately.
@@690yioghklbm or look up the stats and see that Seiko's automatic movements haven't been close to rolex or omega ever. If they use quartz then sure, anyone can do that. If you don't appreciate Rolex then cool but most people do, hence the rarity/price even though they make millions every year.
@@1physics Or *you* can actually do some *real* research and see Grand Seiko is entirely separate to Seiko and makes Rolex look like a half assed watch (which it is) that has made no effort to get with the times nor compete since the 60s (which they still don't) and use most of their income to spend on highly successful advertising for the brainless masses and checks to the greedy executives.
@@1physics Rolex is a “hey look at me!!” type brand, usually always trendy. GS has been on a mission to prove how great they are which has led to some incredible products. Your automatic movement statement has confused me, it’s almost like you didn’t even bother a quick search to see that GS accuracy ratings are consistently better than any other auto out there. That’s not even taking into consideration the spring drive which is only the biggest development in watch movements in half a century. GS finishing goes beyond that of Rolex easily, they are truly an incredible value for the money whereas Rolex is so overhyped that you have to suck a dealer off to get a shot at a new one. Rolex also get beat by the accuracy ratings of Omega regularly. I’m a huge Rolex fan, absolutely love their design and history but I’m also keeping it real when I say you’re dead wrong about GS.

Okay I’ll just buy SanMartin and Pagani design, on Ali X, jobs a godden 🤣
Yikes
San Martin is Kingg
Someone's about to loose a lot of subs and views now lol jk jk. There's actually a fair margin in the watch community that will back Steinhart.
I had one in the past and the quality is insane for the money. Sold it off though to fund my Doxa.
Little does Nico know that Rolex's subariner design concept (came out in 1954) was suspiciously close to the original BlancPain 50 Fathoms Mil-Spec(military issued) during 1953 from the French military.
So we could all say that the Rolex submariner is a homage of the 50 fathoms which is basically true.....😂.
Honestly I would rather have a Steinhart than a Rolex Submariner. I also love my Steeldive/Addiesdives Sub Homages, and can comfortably wear them daily without worry.
I want to see a video of nico going through watches on aliexpress, his head would explode
What about the titanium gmt and couple others that isn’t a copy of anything, if it isn’t saying Rolex or another company’s name it gets people into watches it’s hood in my book.
You can think what you want about Steinhart. But, considering value, it’s just Rolex which goes up its middle finger and puts it stronger and stronger in… 🤷🏻♂️
Ok but a Dan Henry breakdown next?
i would rewear wear steinhurt when fake one rolex or so cos a lot fake watches been out there
And what watch does Rolex drew the inspiration for the Submariner Nico?
China: yow! My friend!
I have two and love them. A lot of people get upset when there’s a great brand that does it just as good as something ten times the cost. I’d love to have patek philippe but I could never justify the price.
