As someone who never baked before and knew nothing about baking, I tried this recipe for a friend's birthday. And it turned out to be sooooo good 💚
I tried making this for my own birthday during the lockdown to celebrate with my family. I reduced the sugar by 10%, and used plain yogurt as I ran out of sour cream. The taste is perfect.

I made this cheesecake for Easter for my family and I have to tell you it was the most delicious cheesecake we have ever eaten. It was the first time I made a cheesecake without a water bath and the first time freezing the crust instead of baking. I was so nervous the top would crack, but there were no cracks and the cheesecake crust stayed on the sides when it was cut. It was without a doubt the best cheesecake I've ever baked and I am a small home business baker. Love this cake it will be my go to from now on. Thank you so much!!

I tried this recipe and it turned out perfect! I didn’t have 7 inch tin and used 8 inch instead. Added 100g of crumbs and 32g butter for the crust. Cheese filling remained the same. Baked using fan force oven at 120 degree for 1 hour 40 mins.

I tried this out and it turned out sooo good! I didnt have sour cream so I ised thick yogurt instead and it worked out so well! A must try!
I made this yesterday and had it in the fridge overnight. It came out creamy and delicious. I didn’t have the cookies it called for so I used Oreos. The crust was good but would’ve preferred a traditional graham cracker instead. I used an 8 round. I followed all the steps exactly but still got a big crack in the middle but that didn’t bother me. For those who do like Oreo, I crushed all the Oreos (about 36) in a ziplock and then added the melted butter(1/2cup melted same as recipe).😋thank you for sharing!
Cracking is mostly cause by adding too much air into the mixture. So If you want to avoid it, try even harder to not overmix it.
I was wondering if I could just use a round pan, do you have to change the cooking time?

I didn’t have Springfrost pan so made it in a regular pan with perchment paper . Instead of fresh fruit I used canned Blueberry desert topping that also worked great !
Pllllz tell me how much sour crea' did u use i'm planning on making it tomorrow for my parents but he wrote 1/4 instead of 1/2 but in grams it is the opposite

@@njooda5758 yes you better do it a better taste 😋 to do it but actually you can eat it just like that without waiting it at the refrigerator..buttttt you cant eat it when your cheesecake is freshly out of the oven so you have to wait for about 1-2 hours until its become room temperature, although im not her/him that your asking to but hope it help and also hope you understand what i was talking about 🙂

I too wondered why no Bain Marie (water bath) but then it hit me. This person took GREAT pains not to incorporate too much air into the cake by not beating too much. Less air = less chance of cracking which is what the water bath helps to prevent. Also, did you notice the low temp for the cooking? Less heat = less expansion and deflating which lessons the threat of cracking.

@Cindi Thomas the English equivalent of graham crackers
chioma briggs you might need more butter though. I had a box of preground graham cracker crumbs and needed to add an extra 3-4tb of butter because it was too dry to form with only the one stick the recipe called for.....or better yet you can just do 2 to 2.5 cups with the one stick because the crumb mixture was too much anyways even though I made the crust fairly thick.
