    Honestly I would be more excited if ram, or any of the other big truck makers,came out with really fuel efficient hybrid trucks. 30 mpg or better at a price we can actually afford. Ev trucks are crazy expensive.

      @@rmitchell1 so you want two drive trains making it the truck less reliable with more to break and the battery that is actually worse for the environment lol. Or you talking about the full ev that is just a useless POS. If you don’t want diesel get gas. But if your that worried about mpg diesel is it.

    • @canyonero2050

      @Trevor Forbes Hybrids don't have to be unreliable. Everything has its pros and cons. Toyota has been building super reliable hybrid platforms for over a decade now.

    • @trevorforbes2382
      @trevorforbes2382 Год назад

      @@canyonero2050 Its simple logic. More moving parts means more that can break. Yes Toyota has been making them for years and the junk yards, and salvage actions are full of them! The batteries don't last! They are also really expensive to replace. This way hybrid DON'T hold there value! Look at any of the Suv out there that makes a normal version and a hybrid.You'll see the normal version hold there value better. So the only pro a hybrid has is better mpg but even that can be argued against since they cost more to buy, lose value quicker and will need to be replace sooner. I'm sure that off sets the added cost of gas if you keep the normal version long enough. Plus like I said before they are worse for the environment on top of that! The pollution from making the battery, mixed with the shorter life of the car and the problem of what to do with the batteries once they are dead is way greater than the added fuel burnt in a normal car.

    Truck, really like the cargo bed design. Instead of wheel wells being in the way, a proper square box for utility. The SUV, blah. The Charger! Insanely sharp/HOT! Wish they would have done this back in 2006 with the V8 Hemi! While I am not an EV enthusiast, this style would have me getting out my check book. This style is what the Charger was meant to be. A 2 door mean machine. BTW Alex, the front wing design is in a lot of performance cars. You're just not used to seeing them. lol

    This Charger is a much better interpretation of the '68-'70 Charger than the 4 door version they have been selling for the last 10 or 12 years. I like the center console that runs all the way from the front to the rear bucket seats That is a reference to the '66 and '67 first gen Charger....one of the best interiors ever. I wonder if the rear buckets flip down and form a flat deck like the original '66 & '67 Charger? It was pretty impressive that you could actually lay down and sleep back there.

      The 4 door release in 2006 was a dramatic disappointment. I heard the news that after 20 years they were coming back and I was ecstatic for it. I was in a dealership having routine maintenance done on my 2002 Dodge Dakota, was approached by an employee to see how things were going. I told them how excited I was for the new Charger and could not wait to see it in person. They said there was 1 on the showroom. I said say what? I was just in there, didn't see it. They walked in with me and pointed it out. I was floored with horror. They ruined it! I said when is the 2 door coming out? They are not making a 2 door. They ruined it! 😡🤬 Fingers crossed this sculpted piece of art will be produced as is. (buy 1 as is buy another and put in a Hemi V8)👺👹

The Charger and Ram Rev are cool but with all their carbon fiber and hand made interior parts you can tell that they are much longer off from production.

    Camera side mirrors are neat, but my concern is redundancy if it fails. Many rear view mirrors that have a camera function still also have a standard mirror capability.
    Even looking at a standard side mirror, the only way it fails is if it becomes obstructed or detached. Both easy fixes: roll down the window and clear, or use some duct tape to put the mirror back on.

    I get the "ooh-ahh" appeal of the ide of camera mirrors, but I kinda doubt the increase in efficiency would be great enough to justify the increased complexity, increased vulnerability, and higher chance of interference that come with having a camera instead of a mirror. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think I'd still rather have a big piece of glass.

They pick from 'others', remodel it and then launch it as the 'perfect' version of 'what is', that's the good thing about letting others do the work for you. I will rather give the thumbs up to the pioneers who slave their heads to actually think of what people may want. The pioneers IMHO are the real innovators.
