    In 2011, we released the Panther Analog Delay. Almost exactly two years later in 2013, we tried a nearly impossible feat of taking everything we love about the Panther Delay, making a few improvements, and packaging it into an enclosure half the size. Today in 2018 we're repeating the feat and making the Panther Cub V2 half the size once again!
    What's New on the V2?
    - Half the size of the Panther Cub V1 and Panther Cub V1.5
    - Fully Wet Mix now available
    - Gain Control to set overall volume
    - Even smoother oscillation and run-away
    - Active EQ, which functions at a Tilt style EQ

    This is a genuinely fantastic pedal, it's one of the best delay pedals I've ever heard easily, but no power supply, no effects loop, and 300 dollars? Yeesh, I think that's a little excessive by at least a hundred bucks. Gettin' a little too proud on our pedals, and this price is 3 years almost after this pedal was released. I'll gladly stick to my Carbon Copy Mini.

    I had the 1.5 version and liked everything about it except that the repeats were just too dark and the EQ couldn't be changed. I see they have now corrected that and added a gain knob. I might have to give this one a shot.

      You can also put an eq in the fx loop and get an even more customizable eq than the v2.

    Excuse me for not knowing the right words, but why is the Ratio knob not like ”staggered”, or whatever, like a four way switch? Can you blend between different ratios? Or what is the point of having like a ”sweeping” potentiometer if it only switches between four set values?

    You could use the tap function on the earlier Panther to "slave" other pedals with a tap-in. Is this feature available on the Cub V.2?

    Will you guys be making a lucky car delay with an effects loop? I want to buy one and would pay for a custom made one, but don’t want it without the loop.

    I hate to bring up conflict of interest, but I heard Josh mention that you can feed from this pedal into another JHS pedal to only use one tap tempo. Can you do that to a TC pedal?

    is there any glitching when a new tempo is set mid-feedback via tap tempo?

    Would anybody say this pedal is better than the Pink Panther?

    • @ventor11225
      @ventor11225 6 лет назад +3

      Randy Leon Well this one is analog and the pink panther(lucky cat) is a digital delay, with vintage tape emulation. Neither are released yet so it's hard to tell but I went with the Lucky Cat preorder. It's $100 cheaper and I think it's sounds great from the demo plus I've never owned a digital delay. To me I don't think this is worth $100 more

    I recently bought this pedal online and I wasn't aware there was no included power supply. Do none of the JHS pedals include one? If not, any recommendations on a single DC adapter to use?
