Dak has never made an nfc championship game with the best roster every year. Foles won 5 playoff games throwing to Practice squad receivers Agholor and Jeffries. Foles defense gave up close to 40 points and still beat Brady foles also beat 2 historic defenses bears and Vikings. Dak defense gave up only 19 points to 49ers and dak lost in playoffs twice

Man, the Ravens offense has ZERO imagination. 80% of the plays were throws at the line of scrimmage.
That's what I was saying the whole game. How many tackle-for-losses did the Raven's OC need to see before he decided to start throwing it past the line of scrimmage. I know the offensive line was scuffed, but you have the best running quarterback in the league behind center.
Then on the other side you see KC with a lot of creativity in the red zone

Exactly why the refs making the calls they did rigged the game. Came down to that play and the Ravens had multiple bs penalties that lost them huge plays and bailed the Chiefs out.

You couldn’t ask for a better game to start the season. Plenty of heroics , plenty of awesome offensive plays but both defenses all put in work. Truly a wonderful first game !
I think without Bieniemy KC offense is lacking a lot. Bad decisions in crucial plays. Last year it was the defense who took them to SB. Yesterday game showed they are still lacking in offense and play calls. The offense should have finished that game way early in the fourth quarter but they had to overuse the defense and only won because Lamar is more focused in running than in throwing.

Last year's Super Bowl Champions, WITHOUT Bieniemy, KC found ways to win last year, and now this game, a match up of the best two teams in the AFC, both defenses and offenses are improved since last year. Mistakes were made of course, but considering it was the first game of the season and the rust had to knocked off, there were good adjustments from both sides. It was a great game in my opinion, and both teams were virtually evenly matched. GREAT GAME!

As a Ravens fan I give respect to the Chiefs for giving us a great season opener even though we lost. The ending was insane I was jumping up and down until the call was reversed and I was rethinking my life choices. Great game everybody put on a show with great offense and defense.

The strip sack by Chris Jones was insane. He just bulldozed two big men into the ground. One of the greatest defensive plays of its kind that I have ever seen. He is just completely something else. This league is filled with unbelievably great athletes, powerful strong men. They're all among the very best at what they do. They're professionals...They train, scheme and double-team and chip precisely in order to stop this guy. And I'm not sure they can. It's crazy how one player can be a game-wrecker.

I'm from England and massive sports fan and when covid happened and we were locked down i wanted to learn some new sports. I started watching and learning NFL and Basketball, became huge fans of both. My teams are Jacksonville Jaguars and Dallas Mavericks but i watch any teams and all the highlights. I've been waiting for the NFL season to come back and the NBA. I'm a new fan and hated how long to off season is so i can't imagine how excited the American fans are that NFL is finally back! What a game!

Jackson’s inaccuracy cost them this one. They had likely open and flowers open in the end zone and he threw it over their heads.
To me it looked like he threw it away to avoid losing time on the clock and saw flowers at the last second but it was too late

Dual threat is MUCH harder to defend. As a Chiefs fan, we kinda got a little lucky tonight. If Henry and Jackson are clicking in the running game, we're going to have to play perfectly to beat them (no dropped passes, no settling for FGs when we should be getting TDs, no no-points on turnovers, etc.)
