Hoping from my usual warrior 3 and Cessna 172 to a constant speed prop Cessna 177B Cardinal. I must say that so far this video has been the most useful in understanding how to operate the prop - so many thanks
When I first flew the 182 I had the same problem with the plane drifting to the left on the runway. Much much more rudder is needed as opposed to the 172. Great Vid :-)
Yep, great to learn some new stuff. Not sure about the twin though - another set of new buttons and knobs - then there's those disappearing wheels!! Might do the Cirrus instead like you.
Yeah good idea. I find the late model SR22 a more capable platform then even the 2012 G58 Baron I also fly. Unless I have a heavy load I'll take the Cirrus every time for personal personal travel.
Hey, Paul. I'll have my next flight in a couple of weeks, so hopefully it will all come together then. Lots of new things all at once - CSU, G1000, C182 and flying with Allen. All good.
Mark Roberts Hi Mark, was just watching the second part of your flight. Looks a beautiful plane to fly. Thanks to you, I now have my medical approved and my ASIC arrived 2 days ago, so hopefully will get back in the air very soon. Would love to chat with you sometime if you don't mind about any instructor recommendations, I'll need to be cleaning up some rusty skills. Maybe a chat at the club sometime. Cheers Paul
Stress Levels are way to high Mark. Pitch + Power = Speed was that too slow down or speed up. To complicated - come with me and enjoy the views in the FOXBAT A22LS fitted with see through Organic Doors!! Might even take the doors off
G'day Dennis! I'll take you up on that! You might have to wait for the return favour until I get all the new knobs and screens (not dials!) sorted. Happy flying in the meantime..
C182 with G1000 is a wonderful machine. You are a patient man, this instructor would drive me mad - he can't keep his hands off the controls!

Great stuff! Looks like a great aircraft to fly. Really love the G1000

Great video Mark! I actually know the owner of DDS who leases it out - what a small world!
Great stuff mate!
I'm flying in my CAP's G1000 tomorrow!
fantastic.
Good stuff Mark! Initial twin next 😉

Nice one Mark, sure you'll get your head around the CSU and the glass panel. Paul
