Medivh is aware of the time ways and stuffs. It is shown in the novel Thrall: Twilight of the Aspects where the current Thrall went back in time and met Medivh from the time of Warcraft 3. Thrall remembered him and he recites the things that he told the prophet back at the time. But then Medivh informed him that he is aware that this Thrall was from the future and that we can assume that he knows about the timelines and the dragon aspects Iguess. This might be a reference to the book. Cool Campaign

tell me in chapter 8 does the cutscene after defeating Archimonde freeze after Arthas goes through the portal for you cause it's happening to a lot of other players but it all works for me however
Jay little tip for the next mission make sure you do all the side quests first before destroying Kel'thuzad's base

To explain why Thrall is needed more than Broxigar, Broxigar may of wounded Sargeras, Thrall is a World Shaman, he can literally wield the world against his enemies, granted after taking Deathwing's place for the Dragon Soul, but since then he's been the most OP Shaman in wow. Also Doomhammer outclasses the Axe of Cenarius.
yeah but he also cheated in his fight against Garrosh on Mak'gora like Gul'Dan did against his father in the movie not to mention stupidly putting Garrosh in charge as Warchief who ended up leading the Horde to complete chaos so let's be honest here Thrall really isn't that great of a character
@@grantarmstrong9648 Just cuz Blizzard couldnt write Garrosh right dosn't mean Thrall is effected as a bad character. Since blizzard made garrosh a great leader in CATA but players wanted Thrall back and hated garrosh for being the new Warchief. So stubid blizzard decided to make Garrosh a complete 360 instead of going with their own idea, and made him a maniac and a warmonger who first in CATA hated the idea of bombing innocents but in MOP nope he nukes theramore killing many innocents and children. People started to like him around the time when Cataclysm ended and Mists of pandaria was announced but when MOP got released people hated Blizzard for making garrosh a maniac and changing his character. Thrall is actually a great character especially in the books like :Warcraft Lord of the Clans is a really great book and one of the best warcraft books which tells about Thrall how he leads the horde and goes deeper with events to his character in the game.

It still looks a little awkward to me, Arthas holding a red sword while wearing blue armor. I had that same problem with my WoW paladin too, until I unlocked a better-looking color for that sword.

i am pretty sure alextrazas gift count as an orb and can hit air.
it can when he is prince but when he becomes king, it does not work because he gets new abilities and alextrazas gift becomes a sub item from a real item. In short he needs an orb of lightning to hit air.

I sometimes feel like the best custom campaigns have a somewhat...lacking department when it comes to writing dialogue. Am I the sole to notice this?
Yeah. Misspelled words, awkward grammar... Some lines sound very foreign coming from certain characters... I think they need to improve the campaign a little bit more.

@@badrinath5306 Well remember this is an alternate timeline so anything could happen maybe Broxigar will destroy Deathwing instead, or maybe Deathwing won't cause the cataclysm at all, or maybe Thrall as a death knight will still defeat Deathwing in the end anyways we'll just have to wait for the future sequel campaigns to find out.
@@grilly2013 There is another lich king in this timeline so it does make sense for Arthas to wield the Ashbringer.
David Qevani Wouldn't Illidan or someone decimate the Lich King now that Arthas doesn't work to protect him? Illidan very nearly destroyed him even with Arthas around.
Or would Arthas not telling Illidan about the Skull of Gul'dan affect the chain of events that much?

This is one hell of a power trip with the primary heroes being so strong. Does hard mode require them to be, or is this campaign meant to be a steamroll?
well for this campaign. The heroes are extremely buff sir or ma'am .
In hard mode well it kinda counter the buff heroes to even the odds.

It was weird....I don't remember seeing any scene or playing any chapter in the previous expansions where Thrall dies...yet in this,Grom tells about his death in the prologue itself
This is an alternate timeline. Thrall dies and Broxigar Saurfang is the Warchief.

I suggest to start playing age of mythology . It's a pretty good game and it is almost like warcraft style , building bases , armies and such stuff
Age of Empires, Warcraft 1-3, Age of Mythology are all the same games. There's almost no difference except in which non-human units you get to use. In Age of empires it is strictly historical human armies. In Mythology you get to summon myth based creatures. And in Warcraft there really isn't a mythos and they are just legit races so instead of a golem being considered mythological, its just a race of golems.
So while Empires is more grounded in reality, and Myth shows you the opposite extreme where Gods and Myth beasts are available once you've earned them, Warcraft is the middle ground where its all thrown into one and balanced out.
That being said there is a couple other different factors too. Warcraft focuses on Hero units much much more than Empires and Myths do, including a leveling and item system (more fleshed out than Myth ever was) Because of this you can overpower a single hero to overcome an entire army especially in custom maps (More on that later). Then theres the Age of Mythology spell system which is based on Gods, essentially your God of choice will reign down fiery vengeance depending on who you worship and its actually pretty cool but Warcraft heroes get their own units that can be used over and over throughout the game once you unlock them (It can be difficult to actually level up this far because in 1 v 1 matches the game often ends before you unlock anything good. However in longer games its very essential.)
And then theres the custom mods and such to maps. The previous two games do not have NEARLY as cool of mods, sure theres custom maps but they are just more of the same. Warcraft's custom maps you can find on epicwar.com are IMMENSE in their quality and really blow away the other 2 games. With all things being equal, Warcrft wins out easily purely based on the mod community for custom maps such as the one in this video.

I agree that warcraft is better than the other two but if I remember well , Jay said it started getting boring , campaign after campaign so that's why I suggested age of mythology . ( about the warcraft custom maps I believe that hive workshop's quality is far better than epic war . I downloaded some maps from there and I wasn't impressed .)

Btw do any of you know how to fix something, because when I played the last campaign and the timer got expired and when the cutscenes got played Broxxigar doesn't appear and the game doesn't give him to me like what it is suppose and after killing Archimonde of course they will go to the portal and the screen will be stuck because there is no Broxxigar to come.
Well let me just say that the cutscenes work perfectly fine for me and Broxigar always appears for me trust me I've replayed it 7 times so I really don't know what issues you and everyone else is having right now
I played the last mission about 6 times without cheats and with cheats but in a different difficulty
