The drunken sailor is Matt “Bucky” Buckner. He was a member a long time ago when VoicePlay was 4:2:Five. These days he does voice acting. He also choreographed Geoff’s Monster Mash. And he has been in two of VoicePlay’s shorts: Candy Caravan Escapade and very recently I’m Gonna be (500 Miles). For the minis, try to watch the background from the beginning (hard as that is). Some reactors use two or three shorts for one reaction. (Just a suggestion)
I just love "their brand of crazy" because it's always "their brand of awesome talent" too. Layne just killed the percussion and Cesar twerking was hilarious. Bucky was great as the drunk and loved his reaction to that creepy doll. Bucky wasn't just a past member of 4:2:Five, he did the choreography for Monster Mash.
I like the fact that Geoff had a wooden spoon during his "full on dark" bit. Takes me back to when folks used to say, "I'll carve his heart out with a wooden spoon!" That added part at the ending just made me what to grab a pint and join them! 🤪

Now Bucky is a Gamer, Voice Actor and works at Disney World. He drops in every now and then to say hi. In this one Geoff told him the storyline and then told him feel free to do what he thinks fits his part. Just a few lines were scripted for him. He was choreographer for Geoff's video Monster Mash. He can also be seen in their minis/shorts videos.... Candy Crush and I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) as a pesky mall shopper. Very funny.
José was in Hoist the colour and My Mother Told Me. The Wellermen had Anthony G. The 2 minis VoicePlay has done recently with Bucky are very fun too. Candy Crush and Proclaimer's I'll walk 500 miles. Matthew Buckner aka Bucky was also the man who choreographed the monsters in Geoffs Monster Mash. A Geoff arrangment, who also wrote a new bridge to it.
This one is just pure fun! I love all of it, but Bucky's dance is comic genius. A suggestion - maybe cover a few of their minis in one video. Bucky is in "I'm Gonna Be/500 miles", "Peaches" is SO funny, and "Jericho" is another of my favorites. They're all little gems. I hope you have a good day🙂

There are great A Cappella groups for us to enjoy....you know PTX, Home Free and then there is VP!!! The absolute best and most entertaining group of them all....can't stop laughing....this was freaking great....all their videos are Top Tier above the rest...so creative..can't stop smiling. Thanks my man for bringing us this one...😂😂😂😂

I found this to be hilarious. It imediately made me think of an equally hilarious but catchy song called "Drink" by a band called Alestorm. I love that both VP and Home Free don't take themselves too seriously. But the musicianship is always spot on.
When Geoff says the'll cut his heart out, and brandishes the spoon, I have to think that it's a nod to Alan Rickman in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
