This sounds more clean and natural than the version in the S/T album.
@MrMycarrr This song is about extreme desire, the urge to satisfy it, and the immediate regret that soon follows. This is easily my favorite Slipknot song.
They should have left the "GET UP BITCH" part in it's messed up.

This was still early slipknot. They were trying to be edgey. Unlike when corey took over, the watered down cringe worthy radio friendly sound road runner records was looking for. The sound we all love to hate.

Also, regarding Left Behind, there is no line that says "I got tortured". The line is "I come towards you."

@0121brapp actually no, Crowz wasn't actually a real demo, it was just a bunch of songs that they were going to send to Roadrunner before they got signed. It was later turned into Crowz by fans basically, Anders said it in one of his vlogs not so long ago. Just a misconception that just recently as well.
dude that was was wait and bleed brows demo was from, its a basment session, the cd crowz was recorded in a basment i think, mostly all of slipknots early jaming sessions were in shawns basement i think.
Coreys screaming has improved so much. woah. I like this one too.

And they honestly do it better. It's rawer, it's heavier, drums are better, even vocals are more raw and disturbing. This is coming from a coal chamber fan too.

Corey's voice changes aren't showed as much in Crowz, something he's now known for, you can see how he's transformed from this, for the better

Yeah, it was a concept that Anders came up with, but from what I've gathered, it later became a comparison thing. Like with "The Me Inside", both Anders and Corey did the same song and then someone compared the two and that's when they decided to have Corey as frontman. Idk if any of this is the case but that's my theory.
@555kornknot666 'cause he learned how to scream the right way. You know he almost came close to never being able to sing again in '99 while doing ozzfest 'cause he was screaming the wrong way and it fucked his voice up for a while. He was only able to talk for 30minutes a day so he would do it on stage and not talk for the rest of the day. He talks about it in one of their dvds I think. People think he fucked it up during Subliminal Verses, but he said he was just trying something different.

Yeah it is. It was a demo meant for road runner records. Pretty awesome. I think corey goes a little more aggressive on the singing.

the song is called Prosthetis not Prosthetics. Prosthetics is on the self debute album. Anders named this song. Corey renamed it after this demo.

I think this album included some of their best ones. The ones they redid for their s/t album just weren't as good.

Corey before he refined his screaming voice. Not bad, but I like the Self-titles album version better. A little creepier, which I like.
