Just as I remember it, I used to play this song to my Mother who absolutely loved it, we had such fun. She's long gone now & I'm 68 & haven't played a guitar in years but after finding this I might just take it up again as I have grandchildren now. Thank you much for sharing.
Reina - lead vocals Josh - lead guitar and vocal harmony Toni - bass, vocal harmony and big cheesy grins Carson - intro, vocals, harmonica and wadded up hotel towel What a crew! Don't ever stop being you.
Сейчас мне 68 лет! Мы в детстве дома с моей сестрой целыми днями слушали эту песню! Моей любимой сестры уже давно нет, а песню эту до сих пор слушаю! BEATLES Forever!❤
This song was written almost 30 years before these kids were born. What an great era of songwriting. Not just McCartney, but so many scores of other songwriters. And it lives on today and is appreciated by these excellent musicians and budding songwriters.
Part of the magic is that it seems simple. But how many millions of bands out there never get a hit and the Beatles could pump out one after the other for almost 10 years? They had a gift of seemingly simple words put to timeless music and it worked for them as a recipe to create masterpieces.
I was a Beatles fan long before you folks were born and I am thrilled to see such love, attention to detail and genuine joy that shines from you in this most excellent cover. You all are amazing musicians.
It's not just that the Beatles gave us such great songs. It's not even that AND the fact that they gave us so many great songs. It's that they gave us so many great songs in so many different styles.
@@roberthultz9023 The song was primarily written by Paul McCartney while playing acoustic guitar with John Lennon and Donovan in India where the Beatles had gone on a retreat. There was some light background harmony at times with Paul doing all the lead vocals.
@ksfhhnfan That does indeed seem to be the case. However I have heard interviews where Paul and John seemed to have some debate/conflict over who wrote certain songs or parts of songs. But this particular song is very Paul. I understand they wrote close to 50 songs while in India which is amazing not only because of the number but also because they are all spectacular.
When my daughter was a little girl in about 1972 or 3, she had a rocking horse and would rock to this tune as I would play it on my guitar. She knew every word and would get that horse going like crazy. Fun memory! Thanks guys.
These kids are brilliant!, check out their other stuff. I was born in the 50s , this is as good as you'll get. No gimmicks and you can see it on their faces, they love it!. Long may it continue.
I can't put into words how happy this made me. I especially loved Carson's intro and the harmonising at 2:53. Please continue collaborating with Josh & Carson and continue covering Beatles songs. You guys are my favorite RUclips musicians and make my day every time you upload!
I have long loved impromptu, underproduced and playful music videos like this one. They showcase how very talented the artists are, as there is no hiding the mistakes, and they serve to take the fans along on a creative joyride that might otherwise go unseen. Thank you all very much.
You four are a perfectly tuned engine: it is not just about the great harmony, but it is even more about the joyful energy you create. Thank you! From Finland.
This is an extremely important cover of my favorite Beatles song. Don't believe me? My nickname in high school was Rocky because I liked this song so much.

You guys are so good - I am 67 and love your music, together or separate. I am amazed you have found each other despite living different parts of the country.
I made it to the Dallas concert and it was one of the happiest nights of my life. Also, Josh asked if there was anyone in the audience who was there other than because of RUclips and I had brought my friend who hadn't ever really heard much of either group, and she asked me afterward, "Why aren't they famous already?" I know you're all getting there, and touring the country is the way to do it. Thanks to all four of you for showing up on your Southern tour. What a treat! Reina, your t-shirts are very cool.
She has such a unique and beautiful voice. Such tight musicianship too, they're visibly having a ton of fun while playing near perfectly in time and synchronicity.
CONGRATULATIONS to you 4. from the heart of a 69 year-old admirer of the Beatles, who believes that you are the kind of youth who can make possible a better (much better) world. As you are getting older you run the risk of forgetting about your dreams with the passing time, but don´t do that, never change that feeling, always go on with your dreams. OUR PLANET EARTH IS URGENTLY CLAIMING FOR HELP FROM PEOPLE LIKE YOU, never give up¡
Siete semplicemente stupendi. Suonate in casa, su un prato, per strada...con una semplicità e una bravura disarmante. Ascoltarvi ogni sera mi riempie il cuore.
One of my favorite things is Reinas vocal delivery . It is clear and precise, great care is taken. Almost over pronunciation. Easy to understand. Her , Toni, and the guest artists give me a optimistic feeling of the past clear thru the future for music !!
Not only is the music great, the smiles are awesome. And the laughter that is emitted when the four of you are creating just fills the soul. Thank you for these moments. They are truly uplifting!
Cuando veo gente joven divirtiéndose con la música de los Beatles siempre me conmueve y me pongo a pensar que John nunca murió, que George está aún y que los Beatles y su música siguen vigentes como siempre.
I'm sure you hear it all the time but, there is something very special in what you folks do. Life always changes, but for right now, your stuff makes life better! Thanks!
I really love this cover. Greetings from Madrid (Spain) with everybody staying home. You are an open window to scape from this nightmare. Thanks indeed.
Artistry! So many things to say. The percussive instrument using (beans???) and cheap motel room towel may be the best part if this refreshing production. You 4 make my life so much more enjoyable.
I love seeing you singing together. This reminds me of good old times when I was your age. Me and my friends spent hours singing and playing our guitars. Being retired now, we can't imagine a get-together with no songs. However, we have never been as good as you. Keep on :-)
This is absolutely AMAZING... the monologue at the beginning... staging... sound... harmonies... everything, 10/10. Blooper reel was super cute too! Also, I have a very similar Martin acoustic to the one Josh is playing there.
Hi Guys, what a nice song! I loved everything about it, I mean Josh' s ability on guitar, the sweet sweet voice, the "pizzicato" bass sound...but most of all the soul freshness you're able to transmit to us. Absolutely adorable. 🐾
Guys you should realy record more beatles songs!! Your're all the best. I cant stop watching this video and "Dont let me down" video!! Thankyou for playing!!
Unfortunately, in Italy we have so much of that shit, from a musical point of view, that when you listen to guys like you I feel my heart is golden. Thank you
It still shocks me when I hear people refer to this as the “worst” Beatles song. I’ve always loved it.
Me and my ole bestie would second you on that.
this is one of my fav beatles songs
One of my favorites to play and sing!
Show them Revolution 9.
Terry Johnson who on earth would tell you that???
Love how they filmed this in a hotel room with a Gideon Bible.
"That book by Mr. Gideon"

And sing them this song Grandpa! Music is life and Love💜💜💜💜
Your grandchildren...and you yourself...will love having you pick up that guitar again.
So glad young people still listen to the beatles and others.... there is hope Yet!! 🙏💚
Human race has hope as long as there are people like you who can perform this song this beautifully.
Couldn’t agree more. The ‘Artist’ generation will save us.All power to you Josh and your very talented band of musicians.
I cannot overstate how much I love seeing the four of you make music together. There seems to be a natural synergy there.
The simpleness of what we see just reveal how much they work, and how much they are talented :)
I so agree. This was so fun to watch/listen to .

I think the towel had ice in it.
I’m sure there was ice in that towel!!
Toni on camera?
Tina Heath es vocalista excelent
Now, if this quartet of brilliant musicians asked Allison Young to join them, I reckon we’ll have a supergroup on our hands.
I loved the detail of having the Gideon Bible on the table!

People in the room next door trying to watch a Judge Judy rerun: "What the hell is going on over there?"
LMAO
The first five takes were okay, but at some point they start to wonder.

"genuine joy"
EXACTLY!!! Their smiles make ME feel good... 🙂 And of course, the music they play... Rare, very rare nowadays.
Yes I agree. These guys have the essence of the song all wrapped up 🎼🎵🎶🎵🎺

I can't pick a favorite player. They're all great in this. So was the sound quality. Great microphone.

Can't go wrong when they Paul made a Country Beatles song way back in 1968!
Nice to see some of this generation carrying on the great music of my time. Hope McCartney is watching.
I thought this was a Lennon song and that he was writing lyrics right up to recording .

it's a wonderful thing when people can laugh together.
One thing that comes across very clearly in your performances is that you are flat out having fun. Keep up the good work.
