How can a small sampling of one band’s songs resonate with millions of people around the world over half a century after they were written?
Well, it is the Beatles.
It helps when it's the greatest band of all time. By a mile.

Now it looks as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday
There are places I'll remember
In my life
I've just seen a face

Where we just met
She's just the girl for me
And I want all the world to see

Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Strawberry Fields forever
It's getting hard to be someone
But it all works out
It doesn't matter much to me
Let me take you
to Penny Lane, there is a barber showing photographs
Of every head he's had the pleasure to know
And all the people that come and go
Stop and say, "Hello"
Stop and say, "Hello"
I read the news today, oh boy
About a lucky man who made the grade
And though the news was rather sad
Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends
with a little help from my friends...........
All you need is love
All you need is love
All you need is love, love
Love is all you say, "Goodbye"
, and I say, "Hello, hello, hello"
I don't know why you say, "Goodbye", I say
Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
Hey Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better
du dum.. Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right
Come together, right now
Over me
Let it be
Let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom
Let it be eeeeeeeeee yeahh....
Na nana nana nana. Hey Jude.... 4x

The whole thing is outstanding, the flow from one song to the next is never forced, it's practically seamless....but when they went to Blackbird, my ears perked up and it was like they lifted it from the record, it was spotless. I'm left wondering who the 1500+ morons are who gave the thumbs down to this
I hear that, and I'm following up with the woodwind/percussion members "I've Just seen a Face"... DROPPED HARD!
It’s so refreshing to hear such an artistic interpretation of their music with great musicians and beautiful voices (instead of the same old note for note attempt at replication, which can never truly hold up to the original).
Having said all that, I plan on performing the latter at my 60th birthday party next month with a few siblings and a couple other musician friends-all early stuff, including hits and half of “With the Beatles”. At 60, I can still (almost!) hit those high notes. But I so love the songs. It will be live-streamed on my channel. Wish us luck! ❤️🎸🎼
All the traffic in the back has no idea of the greatness being put on display in the building.
