- Grab your popcorn n' sit on back. Enjoy the beautiful WA scenery as I head west (with friends) and check out the nearby Sekiu airport. Man, I live in an incredibly beautiful place.
Great video as always, Amy! The new comms are cool, but I also like the music. Together they are a nice combination.
I put this on for noise in the background, while I completed other tasks. This was so strangely hypnotic, I ended up unable to turn away, and my tasks have now been neglected.
All your fault, but thanks anyway.
This is High Quality! This is what I like to see! This is a masterpiece!
Beautiful landing and your Flare was just the way I love it and hold the nose off as long as you can and let it roll out to save our Brakes
Beautiful scenery, thanks for sharing the flight.
Very nice video, I wish you would post more. I could watch one of your videos daily. I love the scenery and the perfect selection of music and volume. Keep up the great work!!!
Hi Amy -- I know it's more work for you, but the audio is very much appreciated. Thank you and have a Very Merry Christmas with your beautiful 150
Thank you for taking us to Squeim. It was great looking at the Spit. I stayed a couple of times at the Dungeness Bay cottages. I spotted the Dungeness River. Good memories. Thank you.
You rock! That was great! I really needed the vicarious diversion from my ridiculous week, and that was just other-worldly. This channel might be my new favorite.
Here here to that. Horrid wind where I live right not and crazy too busy to fly much.
I am having a busy week and this was the proper tonic....
I love your flying.
congrats amy on another stunning production.
Thanks!
My favorite of your videos.... so far.
Nice video amy, and cockpit view so amazing 👍
Love the chase shots of your plane Amy. Awesome.
Yeah, lots of drop-offs bordering many paved surfaces in WA due to the LONG rainy season. And nothing can prepare an east coaster for the sublime beauty of WA. Won't poke you anymore for your attitude toward landings. A perfectionist mindset is never a bad idea in aviation. 😉 Wonderful video, Amy!
Haha, thanks for the comment! Made me smile.
Wife is good when you have your airplane. I know the feeling at a nice 1967 Cesena 150
Been watching for a few weeks now. I really like your music selections! Flying here in Texas makes me partial to the old country tunes.
Thanks for watching!!!
Beautiful part of the country. I used to spend a lot of time up there. I like hearing the comms and the airplane.
You definitely live in a beautiful place. I can tell that you've landed before lol Average my a** :o) Learning to make videos... I think that's more difficult than learning to fly. You're doing well with that too. Thanks for taking us along
Under-rated channel.
Your videos never disappoint.
That''s a very nice video and nice you can fly around with friends and yes you live a beautiful part of the country. But when you are up at 1500 feet on a clear day at the controls of your own Cessna 150, your there no matter where you're at. Fly safe!
Truth.
Breathtaking video. Great editing!
your landings are soooooo smooth!
Awesome video, Amy!
New subscriber here. Found you when you found Woodstock.
PPC pilot longing for a fixed wing.
Love the scenery and LOVE that yall are taking GA to the low levels we ultralight guys love so much.
Liking your style of videos too.
beautiful scenery indeed Amy, thanks for sharing that with us... Happy landings.
Thank you!
Your landings are silky smooth.
Best video I have seen from you yet. You keep getting better and better. 2 thumbs up.
As a local resident of WA state, I would like to recommend a flight for you. Fly down to MT Saint Helens area check out the wash from the eruption of 1980. It is amazing to see it from the air.
Very nice landings, And as you stated excellent scenery. N55563
Amazing Amy thanks for the video
Another great video thanks for sharing
What a clever way to have a date.
Your Cessna 150 thanks you especially for how kind you are to it on landings.
Thanks for another nice video! I want to go flying now!
Fabulous as always Amy "Thank you "
Beautiful up there, thanks for sharing.
Great video Amy! Absolutely beautiful! Reminded me of our short “formation” flight here in Maine!
Another great video. Please keep them coming.
Excellent video and a brand new subscriber here. Beautiful aircraft and yes I absolutely agree that is some amazing scenery. Keep up the great work and stay safe. Thank you for sharing the videos.
Ok I'm hooked. Subscribed.
Thanks for the rewind! I flew out to Sekiu this fall from KAWO, got my Fly Washington passport stamped, and stopped at Port Angels to stamp again. The FBO is really nice and friendly. KCLM is the easiest 50 nm cross country from KAWO (did all my training there) so flew it many times both day and night in training. Arlington Flight Services has low cost fuel, and Ellie’s is a good lunch stop on the ramp...as long as you get there by 2:30 pm, as they stop serving at 3 pm. Have enjoyed all your hard work on the videos! Will you stay in Washington when your service is done? BTW... thank you for your service! I was Army back in the late 60’s and served in Korea. 😎
Student pilot here. I dream of landings like that. I can do gross!
These are great videos. I am glad I found your channel. Funny at the end you talking to the 150 - I talk to my plane too.
Great Video.
“Gross!” Hmph....(probably was gross because you missed the centerline by 3/4”?) Anyway...really enjoyed the video! Shared it on my Facebook page. Thanks for the beautiful flight and video! (I’ll probably watch it again.)
Your airplane excursion reminds me of many a Huey NOE flights I made with the equally appealing landscape minus the music. I do remember, on an infrequent occasion or two, having to land. . .run over to a gas station or "local" with a map and ask, "where am I? Yay to GPS! Good flight.
I’m sorry, is this still too much music for you or???
Does make me miss the PNW a little.
When you have that one perfect landing, from then on normal ones seem disappointing ;) Thanks for letting us enjoy the scenery with you!
Thanks for watching!
@@amywhite375 Keep 'em coming, we all love it!
I really like your presentation. I was at KCLM and watched you two take off. I would like to know what kind of camera setup you have along with the recorder. Thank you
Quick edit, and the production quality is improving quickly. Nice!
I wouldn't necessarily call this a quick edit. But I've done more complicated videos for sure.
Great video! Sorry if previously asked, but which iPad mount are you using on the right side of the glare shield? Thank you! I've been using the knee board mount for the iPad, but I think I like your system better. I don't want a yoke mount.
Beautiful Skyhawk and your separation from one another is great to seeing the Beautiful Creation that our God Created for us to seeing with our own eyes and let the pilot of the 172 Skyhawk know that you both did an amazing safe flight
You can't grease them all, but full stall are the target. Did your instructor drill that in? Now I need to go look at a chart to see where you went. Beautiful flight, thanks for sharing! Fly safe!
My instructor kept me from hurting the airplane for 6ish hours until I was able to solo. Everything else I pretty much taught myself and tweaked over the years by trying different things and seeing what works well.
Nice video. Your are an accomplished pilot. Nice music too. Btw. Are you IFR rated?
Thanks. Yes, I am.
I'm building one, RC plane 182F.
Nice one, Amy. Aren't we lucky to be able to fly here in the PNW?
Yes, we are!
IFR rated? Plane up to your skills? Do a Happy Dance at the end! I enjoyed the scenery, too.
Yes, both myself and the airplane are IFR certified.
At 2:45, if your engine quit, where would you have put it down?
Can you tell us about you evolution in aviation? Ratings? How you acquired the 150? What does it cost to own, operate, maintain? Thanks.
That's a lotta questions.
Is good the cessna 150?I think that it is little but friendly
Huh?
that was a lil long for sekiu
Audio recorders are awesome for recording
That is the one thing they do really well... lol
LOL....yes, meant for recording headphone audio.
How do you go about choosing your music?
Absolutely no method whatsoever. Haha
Were you, are you in the Coast Guard?
if that was gross, I'd hate to see what you'd think of some of my landings in '420.
Is that a new transponder in the stack?
‘Tis! I got the Stratus ESGi for ADS-B.
Amy. Too critical of your landings. You will give most other pilots a complex calling those bad and average. lol
Are you vain about your landings? Lolol
Gross.....
I want the Tee-shirt.
nothing gross about that landing. too hard on yourself.
