I can only imagine how sweet it must be to be able to enjoy that kind of carefree leisure. Beautiful plane.
And yes, I am drooling watching this.
Carefree is a strong word.
That scenery taking off at Heavens Landing..just WOW! That would be crazy to wake up each day, and often fly in and out of. Can't believe someone didn't hand Capt. Mindy a bottle of water and a bag of chips though..of course letting her know that's a $9 charge now ;) Great flight, albeit to short though, and that new 206 is a nice comfortable plane. Have been in with the G1000 before, but that new NXi option..which can load up visual approaches is just amazing!
I would like to meet Captain Mindy
Wow. Falcon Field. It's been over 25 years since I've flown out of there. Boy has it changed. Good memories.
Thanks again
Sweet... calm relaxed flight. Enjoyed riding along. Thanks
I always wanted to fly in to Heavens Landing. This was so fun to watch after having done my instrument rating in the Atlanta area based out of KRYY
That's a really cool airport (hangar) layout! I've never seen one like that before!
I could listen to Sarah all day, she's got such a lovely voice! :)
you make flying look so easy, you have a great attitude..and when things aren't going well for me sometimes , I watch your videos... just wanted to say thanks!
One of the most enjoyable IFR flights I've seen. Awesome flight with 3 pros! Great editing, too.
I am from Brazil, lived in the USA (New York area) and and was learning to fly just before 9/11. I am an aviation enthusiast and loved your video. You guys did great on this one. Keep up the good work!
..thanks Steveo..
just watched me some new Schmiindy videos today...and found this one video of yours again...such fun...thanks for sharing...ready to rotate..on a beautiful day..into the beautiful mountains there...
Loved it. I remember when they put the F-16 there. I was painting the "Kate" torpedo bomber at the commerative Air Force hanger back in 2009. I love your videos.
Great shout out of Jason's RUclips. I've learned a lot from him!
How I wish my IFR training had been that clear in London back in the day!!! In the UK thats a beautiful day!
The interior looks wonderful. I see lots of legroom & super high quality looking upholstery.
Great view of Atlanta, you all did a great job with this flight and video, thanks!
Nice video Steveo!! Thanks for taking me back to my old home airport (FFC) where I got all my ratings and flight instructed for a bit before switching gears to ATC. We just got back from the Bahamas/Florida and listened up hoping to hear you on the radio...no such luck. Maybe one day. :)
did my first solo there and when me and a friend (he instrument rated, me private) flew a loop around Atlanta, We flew into there. I flew the approach and it felt like i never left.
I didn't know they made brand new Cessnas. I thought they were just born with over 1000 hours on them already
LOL
LOL... Yesterday two Cap 172's were fooling around at our local field... Next day there it was... a 182 with 2150 hours on it ! Still transferring fuel from Mom's Tank !
Chad_Lawton ..kk
@Chad_Lawton , that's funny.

Very good. Beautiful aircraft. Great narration. Thanks again to all 3 of you.
thank you ladies and gentlemen for the excellent video. Back in the mid-80s I was working towards my private pilot license did my first solo at falcon Field!
Such a satisfying video. Watched the video till the end, thought that I was flying it to the end. Flying rocks!!!!!
Verry nice aeroplane with a verry nice crew. What is the Registration??
Great job flying the 206 Steveo. I am sure you are accustomed to traveling a little faster in the
TBM 850. Very nice little airplane for short hops and love the turbo for a little extra speed. With 2
flight instructors on board, you were under close scrutiny but a Commercial Pilot can handle that
quite easily. Loved the scenic tour of Atlanta!
Always a great video..thanks Steveo for making us feel like we are right there..you are so lucky to be doing what you love and this trip flying with two honeys.doesn`t get any better than that...
Cessna 206 HD is one of my favorite planes... nice flying!👍😁😎
Thank You! I just learned something from watching your final approach that has helped me greatly!
Not a real pilot, but a virtual one:-) on MSFS 2020, but love flying. Was performing hard landings even while flaring. On y'alls final, at 17:55 adding trim on landing!. Just tried that in the sim and had the smoothest landings yet! I know it's a sim, still developing platform at that, but I was able to do a touch and go at your departure airport, Heaven's Gate(Wow! Scenery) and my home airport(KJAN)...smooth! Enjoyed the video! Thanks again. Happy Flying.
RB
I like how all 3 of yous are pilots! And Sarah's radio's so pleasant :)
What a lovely and pleasant video, nice scenery and great interaction between the Pilot and the two Captains.
Down to earth people, great videography and audio, nice flying, subscribed.
Wow! Just watched this on my new HD 32'' ILS Monitor.. Perfect video for it... Thanks!
Awesome Steveo, this channel needs more captain Mindy and Sarah! All in favor give a thumbs up!
WE DONT NEED A CAPTAIN MOUSE.
@@nicolep7241 yes they do
Great job steveo. How could you not be good with two beautiful Pilots like Mindy and Sarah with you.
@Long Range Rifle What the hell! She was cool man. I'd have her as my copilot any day.
More of Mindy
I bought a Stinson 108-2 last spring that was based at Falcon Field. I had a gentleman ferry it to WY for me as I didn’t have my private at the time. Thanks for giving me a glimpse of where it came from; what a beautiful area. Also, just took and passed my private checkride last Sunday in that Stinson! Keep up the great work, you are a great ambassador for GA!
Congrats on getting your ticket! Safe flying and enjoy!
That was our Stinson 108-2 that you bought! I hope you are enjoying the airplane, I really miss it and wish my dad did not sell it, but I hope you are having some good times flying it.
Wow! Tell your dad hi! The Stinson is flying great and in good hands. Your family took excellent care of it, and I really enjoyed getting to know your father through our conversations. Let me know if you are ever out this way!
Chris McAtee Congratulations!!
you'll LOVE that Stinson--ours was consumed by a hanger fire in the late 50's--congrats on your checkride !
That's the view I'm excited to discover! Working on my PPL.
Thanks for that video and the mentioning of Atlanta Aquarium....another place-to-see flying with my girls.
So awesome! Entertainment and education at its finest! Let’s go flying! 💥👍🤠
Imagine that...you're a Steveo fan too! Falcon field is about 15 min from our house.
Steveo is great!
Loved the 206 days, but mine didn’t have a fancy autopilot lol beautiful plane! Great video as always 👌🏻
Me too. Taught me an awful lot about flying.
Agreed! It doesn’t hurt that Capt. Steve is so easy on the eyes. 😉 The club to which I belonged had a 206. It was not autopilot equipped, nor did it have a/c, and it was not a turbo model. I started my IFR work in it, thoroughly enjoyed it until an apparently lax maintenance program resulted in a cylinder head failure (CFI aboard and 400 mi.XC) and inflight emergency declaration on a day with weather much like that in the video. We made it to an alternate airport. “I learned about flying from that.” It was a very forgiving aircraft, good load hauler, and a great instructional machine.
Amesiom gohosoki loved Beatificada plane!
The C206 is one of my favorites. Lots of room, plenty of power. Ya did good Steveo !
Awesome as always. You’ve inspired me to finish my IFR rating. (And to get my Bose A20. Absolutely love them.). Your videos are really helping me with my radio skills. Thanks.
"Beautiful day to fly some airplanes" Agreed Steveo!
With a couple of beautiful ladies. Steveo's on top of the worl.
Great flight and great company.
Wait, so how is it that your comment is dated three days ago, when Stevo uploaded this video earlier today?
Dave Marc I give early access to the people that support the channel on Patreon.com
Dave Marc space time continuum 🤫
Disappointed to find out mindy has a husband. Hoping for a speedy divorce.
Thor The Northern Yes, I guess you are right, Mindy is most likely very dumb. That's probably the reason, why she is a commercial pilot/flight instructor and sales director for Beechcraft/Cessna.
Second viewing as enjoyable as when first released. Thanks, Steveo and lady captains.
Nice looking hanger too! Dreams do come true, just for someone else it seems. Thanks for sharing.
Captain Mindy and Sarah are both awesome co-pilots!
Sarah is so pretty and an awesome radio communicator as well!
I love your uploads Stevo keep em coming mate as I pilot myself I watch with interest because we are always learning new things
Nice video Steveo! Gorgeous plane and even more gorgeous co-pilot and passenger. Well done.
Thanks for the ride, keep flying Cessna aircraft. 👍
Joseph Jolly You from Decatur?
Joseph Jolly Do you have half a million just for the airplane and then all the hidden expenses? Cessna has lost their minds with their prices these days.
I got to fly a brand new 206 once, it was soo quiet and powerful!
Lovely flight, really enjoyed, thanks for posting 👍👏😊
Awesome video and some spectacular weather and scenery. Thanx !
Mindy and Sarah need a ride in your usual transportation . Would love to see them in the 850 !!!
It is such a wonderful video. My granddaughters (5 and 14) were excited to see women pilots. Thank you for the inspiration.
Stevo adding the sponsor in at 7:14 without missing a beat! Thanks for not cutting to an ad!
such an awesome flight. great radio work..nice view and smooth landing
70kts on final, 65kts over the numbers, sure sounds like the C172SP numbers . Very nice plane , no doubt it's kind of pricey too (at least in Australia). Great video Steve, I can see why it's called Heavens Landing, beautiful location.
Paul Scotchford That’s probably because the SP and the 206 have basically the same airfoil. The 206 is just a little heavier.
@@niklaspilot Makes it a bit easier to cross types when upgrading then.
Final approach speed of 75 kts on the 206 within 200lbs of gross landing weight is preferred.
David Bry Sure? I think Sarah as a Beechcraft/Cessna sales director will know the numbers.
I think it is so awesome that you can drive your plane through downtown Falcon Field and the other many charming towns in the State of Georgia. It makes sense when you think of it and apart from modifications to the drive thrus at local fast food restaurants, it is a minimal public investment for a great return with so many airplane enthusiasts driving their planes around the town!
Should only be legal for Diesels and UL... Flint anyone?
Always great music!👍
It is nice to see a video with an aircraft I might actually fly! Thanks for a great video!
Hey Steveo, flying around in a 206 Cessna with two hotties is a great day for me. 😁 Awesome video. 👍👍
Liked it just for Cessna Stationair. One of my dream planes.
Beautiful scenery!!!
Another great vid Steve-o. Love what you do man!
I can only imagine what this thing costs. Just spoke to a sales rep. about a 2019 Skyhawk and he quoted me $495,000. FOR A SKYHAWK. GA is dead. Even if I was rich and the 172 was the last aircraft left on the planet, I would NOT give you half a million dollars for a 172. I'll buy an old one for $50,000 and dump $100,000 into it and be perfectly fine. Glass cockpit and everything.
Yep.
Spot on
I think this can carry 6 people instead of 4 (Cessna 172). So it's not exaclty an 172 ?
@@dimitristripakis7364 A brand new 206 is an $800,000 airplane all day long, it's not exactly a small sum of money.
yep bought a New Beech Bonanza A31 in 1997 for 350k look at em now
I thought you were going to falcon field in AZ when I saw that title!
Same
Livin' the dream, another great video Steveo. Love the 206
UAU!!!!! Nice landing. Very Smooth. Congratulations!
Yeah!!
I love this airport. I want to make a trip up there.
woot woot awesome video dude
So cool and flawless landing, keep it up guys. .
Great videos as always. And smooth touchdown.
Sarah is great on the radios, super clear and concise love it.
01:22 "Smash the LIKE Button if you see this!" lol Put some more in like this Steveo!
Awesome flight Steve, it is a beautiful day to fly.
Beautiful day and wonderful flight! 👍
Flying got way too expensive for me, my medical certificate is long since lapsed. Get to live my flying experiences through your vids now Steveo. Love em'.
Steveo1kinevo! I thought your Falcon Field was My KFFZ! Come to Arizona bro!
I thought they were going to FFZ also at first!
Was thinkin the same thing mate! 😂😂
Thanks as always for the ride along.
I love the Cessna 206, what a work horse!
I’ve recently been doing two things.
1) either shopping for a 210 or 206
2) wondering where Steveo is
Quite ironic. 😂
go 206
There is zero reason to get a 206 over a 210, unless you are planning on landing on nothing but gravel and dirt. Way too much capability to give up
Did anybody incl. Steveo notice:
- AWOS said "wind 050/5"
- they are taking off from runway 5
- windsock shows an absolute tailwind (at 3:30)
Lovely presentation. What a beautiful plane, nice paint job 👍🏼
Great landing, love her attitude about the Porsche racing track
I saw it. A LIKE from me.
Love that tail number! Your videos are always better when you have some Tango & Alpha in them!
Some Textron and Aviation, more likely!
:-)
well played
ATC guy here, smirks, smiles/nods, and walks away from the comments...
Further....Cessna 206, Oakland Center, Radar Contact 12 miles south of the San Jose VOR, climb and maintain 11 thousand, Report reaching. Contact NorCal on 127.28 passing 10 thousand, Tango Alpha approved in my airspace.
Love those mountains! Come on up to Asheville sometime for more beautiful mountains!
Very nice! I love the C206, have several hundred hours flying one for the forestry commission spotting fires. The one I flew came from Florida as a float plane there. Pulled the floats off for work in Arkansas. It had a full STOL kit, 40 degrees on flaps and the ailerons would also drop 10 degrees. Land on a dime. Wingtip tanks and you could fly that thing for 7 hours.
Just wondered! if the engine were to (god forbid) fail would the plane just glide or drop to the floor?? I’m scared of flying and always think of these scenarios lol I applaud these pilots an passengers I couldn’t do it.
Also very nice video 👍🏽 thanks.
It would glide. The downward component of gravity is not enough to overcome the plane's forward movement; basically, until it loses its energy.
Your standard 4 seater high wing airplane has a glide slope of 8-9 to 1. It would fly forward for 8-9 feet for every 1 foot down and land at 60-70mph anywhere it could if the engine stopped. A golf course, a long road, a football field...You could be seriously hurt, killed or survive with moderate or minor injuries. Depends what you hit and how hard.
It will glide, but only if you put the nose down and maintain a speed that creates enough lift. If you stall the wings the airplane will fall out from under you. Glide speed is very important when you have lost power. Life and Death.
MadmanB68 - just an idea - have you thought about having a trial lesson or pleasure flight in a glider? They're just an aeroplane without an engine and fly around perfectly fine.. no need to worry about engine failure ;) If the pilot can find a thermal (rising column of hot air) or use the lift from a breeze blowing up the side of a hill or mountain (ridge lift) then the glider can use those phenomena to stay aloft for hours.. Steveo has done some gliding videos..
Steveo, you should contact P1D to see if / when he will be doing another Porsche driving event. You might get lucky and have him invite you to one of the events and get to drive a Porsche. I would have loved to have done something like myself many years ago, but cannot fit in one anymore, let get out of one! Stay active and you will be very happy with yourself in the future! Kudos to the ladies and the flying experience.
Flew a 206 for CAP, and another for a skydiving club! Love that plane.
Sarah has a great radio voice
I agree, Scott.
To squeaky on radio calls and then normal voice when just talking. I cant stand that.
What does Sarah think of her voice herself? It is HER voice...
That voice of her. Ewww
@@Wilhuff_T Did you ever listen to Spanish women? Until a certain age they've got beautiful, natural girl voices. And then they learn each other to rape their own voice. Excuse me, that's the best description. They start talking very strange, low and forced. It's a common madness. I don't understand it, but many do it. Just pay attention when you hear Spanish women. No offense, it's culture, but just listen what happens.
Thats just like that squeaky voice, if you ask them why they do it, they have no clue.
There are more women who talk strange. Do you notice many start pressing their throat closed while talking, like they are very tensed or stressed? Then you get that cracking voice, an annoying kgg kgg kgg sound. I can't stand it, why don't they relax and talk normal?
Yes, most people have no idea how they use their voice. Or their body, that's in fact the same story, just let's keep it to voices.
Can someone bring me the "brand new 206"? I need to borrow it for about, oh... 10 - 15 years. I'll take care of fuel, maintenance, oil, etc. If you want to pick up annuals that's fine. :) The Heaven's Landing ATIS was awesome lol
Thoughts become things, "tailwind again". Looking to get a 206 this year (2020). I was already sold but this video def added to my fuel. Great work. I'm excited.
Nice area. Thx as usual for the ride along.
Really needed a Mindy cam like you had the last time she rode in the back...
Nice to see young ladies involved in aviation. We need more of them.
Why do we need more woman in aviation? Why are men doing a bad job? That would be another empty kitchen.
Women were always excellent pilots, even back to the onset of aviation. This doesn't mean men are doing a bad job, nor creating emptier kitchens. Aviation is a passion along with being a wife, mother and a supportive household member.
@@Klaatu-ij9uz I was kind of joking, but in this age identity politics, calling out lies like white privlage, toxic masculinity has raised my ire. ITS INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE PILOTS, not their gender, I'm tired tribal crap "we should have more woman or diversity." It is idoitc social marxism. We are Individuals with immutable characteristics that are irrelevant to an extent in how one performs as a pilot. Some skills and talents needed by a pilot may not be inherent in every individual.
By the fact you make a big deal about if a pilot has a vagana should tell you something. NO ONE IS HOLDING WOMAN BACK. THEY CHOOSE NOT TO DO IT. Why be a pilot, medicals, recurrent training, when woman can be a doctor, lawyer, investment banker.
Woman tend to do things with interpersonal aspects (and not dirty and physical, like plumbing or constuction), or locked in a cockpit for 16 hours a day on a 4 day airline pilot trip, sleeping alone in hotels.
As a 12,000 ATP CFI, I have trained and flown with many woman who were competent, except for one or two.
Love woman pilots who know their stuff, land in gusty crosswind with out scaring me. Some can and some can't.
Best pilots I have known or know of, all men. Bob Hoover's, Chuck Yeager's, Shawn Tucker's. (Amelia Earhart crash several times.) This is my observation, historical analysis and subjective personal observations, no pandering to feminist or social marxist crap, just facts and statistics. This is no put down to women. When I think of the best Pilots ever, they're all men. That may change someday but I doubt it. We can't force society ( it so.e do).
Of course today you can't talk like I'm talking now. You have to shut up or you're a sexist or a racist if you express your opinion.
I have 100% no doubt some women can make very good (maybe the best) Pilots, who want to be pilots and sacrifice to do it. Just seems woman do not naturally gravitate that way, and that is OK if 99% of pilots are male. It's normal or natural. Do we need DIVERSITY for diversity sakes? No, but I welcome female pilots of course.
I knew from the beginning your first response was "tongue-in-cheek". Thank you for putting the subject to rest.
At least, female pilots are there because they know how to fly planes. Trouble with our country is, everyone is allowed to vote, regardless of their qualifications in political philosophy. Certain professions tend to attract certain people such as, most teachers are female; most journalists are democrat, I think because the democrat worldview and "solutions" are on a lower grade level. How unfortunate.
Amazing flight over the montains and lakes. 😎
Great video I loved it and the best co and co co/back seat pilots. Awesome!!!!!!!
*I would love to fly a Plane someday*
Then go do it! Learning to fly is something you won't regret.
I’ve met so many people who wished they had done something and never got to it. Imagine to be in your deathbed thinking about all those infilled dreams.
If you really want to fly save a little each week and a few months you will have enough to go to a flight academy and book one hour.
Remind me a gain what the hourly rate is to fly. Then go on about how everyone should do it.
Just do it!!!!!
@@jeremyduncan3654 If you aren't offering free flight time, then you clearly have a disconnect with financial reality for most people. I don't intend to be disrespectful, but when I say most people don't have the money to learn to fly, I'm not saying they just won't call their broker, I'm saying they are looking at a choice between making the rent and buying gas to get to work. Saying "just do it" is more than insulting.
These videos are secretly footage of MS Flight Simulator 2030 in Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Alpha build.
hah!! it could be...who knows :-)
So close to my home airport!!!!! I did some of my instrument training at Falcon. Fantastic video Steve!
Love these videos, keep them coming Steveo!
Oh I can see my house.
I saw the house I grew up in PTC. That was pretty cool.... even saw my office building dwntwn ATL. Enjoyed that one.
I can see my dream house.
You can go on Google Earth or Google Maps and stare at it all day if you like.
The takeoff took them right over my front yard, Dillard ,Ga.
