The Apple Card is ultimately for the hardcore Apple user. Customers who love Apple products will find the most value from this card. Of course, you will need an iPhone to get the Apple Card.
Here are the reward categories for the Apple Card:
- 3% Cash Back on Apple Purchases

- 2% Cash Back if you use Apple Pay
This credit card also comes with features such as:

Overall, I use the Apple Card for my iCloud and Apple Music Subscriptions. I also purchase my new Apple products such as my iPhone and MacBook Pro using this card. Other than that, I never use this card. In my opinion, the Apple Card is a weak 3/5 stars. There is nothing really special about it. There isn't even a sign up bonus!
Ultimately, the choice is up to you. Do you think you will find value in using this card? It is a no annual fee credit card so at least you won't be wasting money keeping it.

I am a hardcore apple user and regularly spend in the App Store (which is what convinced me of getting the card). I'm finding myself using the card more and more (well, digital card) despite having cards with better rewards simply because the user experience is so amazing on the apple card. I love how well you can see your spending and how clean and fast the app is. I wish they would launch an annual fee card. Also, I heard that the Apple Card hands out credit limit increases like crazy... another reason I wanted it. I'm still early in my journey so if I could get a huge limit from apple I think that'd help out my journey a lot!

I say you should get the Apple Card, even if you have strong trifectas with chase or Amex. It adds more credit to your account and helps you keep a low utilization ratio. You can also just use it to pay for apple subscriptions like disney plus or iCloud and get your 3% cash back from that.
The value of the Apple Card decreases the older your credit file is, but I wouldn’t say the value would ever be 0
You are right. The value may never be 0. It's a good sock drawer card or card to use JUST for the occasional Apple purchases/subscriptions, etc.
I'd argue that the Apple Card is pretty good for a certain demographic. You can be approved with a fair credit score, and if you only shop at places that accept contactless payment anyway, it's basically as useful as a Citi DoubleCash or Wells Fargo 2% cashback card. So if you are new to credit cards, or have some bad history but are turning it around, and want a relatively good cashback-focused card, then this could be it.
The Apple card could accomplish all of those things that you mentioned 👏🏼 I can see how certain demographics can take advantage of this. Thank you for commenting this and watching Brandon 🔥

I feel like their are a lot of better options than the Apple Card for most people, but it does come with a nice metal card and very user-friendly

I haven’t used anything other than Apple Pay since 2015 and I’ll never go back to using cards or cash

For me it’s a department store card for Apple products and services. I’m all in on their ecosystem so I’ll buy those things with it. Like you, I have used the 0% financing, but I could have just paid outright. Otherwise, I don’t use it for anything else. I didn’t bother to get the actual physical card. There isn’t enough value there to use it.

I am all in Apple’s ecosystem, so it comes in handy if my MacBook dies tomorrow I can just pay overtime. Apple Card is good foundational card you can keep long term no annual fee. I like its security feature to shop online, I can change my Apple Card number in the app if there is any fraudulent charges like PayPal Key does

The Apple Card is definitely a good card for beginners due to the easy interface and of course for hard-core Apple Users. However, it's almost never worth it to use the physical card, and there are certainly some other credit cards that are better out there. Nice video Chase!

I will say even though my Apple Card is nowhere near my favorite card (it’s the chase freedom flex), the Apple Card did give me my highest starting limit of all my cards, 3000$, and I got it in 2020. It’s still my highest, now at 4500$, basically 1/2 of my total revolving accounts and my only metal card🤷🏾♂️

I wish I watched this before I got the card 😂😂😂 worst card I ever really took a hard inquiry for lol. On the surface level it’s sooooo appealing but then when you really break it down there’s so many better cards out there. I don’t use but maybe $20-$60 monthly. I was sucked in 😵💫

I want to like this card, I've been a big apple guy for a while now. But this card is underwhelming at best, definitely made for people who don't know about better options and just love apple.

Apple Card is my everyday use card I also have a saving account so my Daily Cash goes to my saving.
Are you using Apple Pay to pay for most of that daily spend? 🤔
So does this behave like a credit card or a check card? Say I get this card and I buy some Beats headphones, the full balance will be charged to the card but am I expected to pay it all back at once like an Amex or do I have a minimum monthly balance to pay until it’s paid off?
At checkout for certain Apple products only you can choose between paying it in full or having monthly installments at 0% interest. But yes either way you are charged the full balance up front.
For non eligible Apple products you can carry a balance or decide to pay it off in full.

as a financial geek i got the apple card to look into it but it is no way something i would reccomend to ppl, there are several 5 percent cards that you can yse for apple hardwareand you never want to carry a balance, i have a card that uses 6 percent for lots of apple stuff, like even buying things in an iphone app

@@ChaseYokoyama actually most cards do not have a fee, while some do look at the cost minus the annual fee, most of my cards do not have a fee but i pay for one because it it woth it when i compared to several no fee cards

So basically almost everything about Apple Card for you is useless… in my experience it has been an useful tool to get my Apple products with 0% APR. Which to me it’s enough reason to think it is a great card… You’re comparing pears with bananas. They have never promote this card as a “travel” card or anything.
