    Apple Card is the only CC I know of that always makes the billing cycle from 1st day of the month to the last day of the month every month and the due date is always the last day of the following month. It’s a very underrated feature. It makes me feel very control of my finances. In trying to manage my credit utilization, I try to pay it all off by the end of the current month but I know I can hold off paying until the last day of the following month and not be charged interest.

It’s my go to card vs using a debit card or other credit card especially when abroad. Coupled with the savings account and it’s just a killer deal. So much better option then Chase or other available cards out there. Customer service is absolutely phenomenal! Being able to text and get things resolved anywhere in the world is awesome.

      I’d say cards fit into 1 of 3 buckets.
      -Store cards or No rewards
      -cash back rewards
      -points/travel rewards
      A no reward & store reward cards are virtually useless and gimmicky.
      Points & travel reward is a HUGE market and there lots of great cards in this category.
      Cash back cards have a few solid players, but I don’t think any of them match up to what Apple offers. Here’s why! Most people will be getting the 2% cash back because of using Apple Pay. Also the cash back savings with currently 4%+ interest is unmatched and it’s money directly in your hand.

    As someone who just moved to Apple(13 mini) AND was approved(teetering into +700 camp) for the card, it’s so liberating compared to Samsungs meek SOFI debit card. I heard their CC option is locked to Korea, but given how diet Sam Money is, I’m not waiting to find out what it is. I hear positives for SOFI but I’m in part of the rust belt where people still gift you loads of real cash instead of a PP/VM/DP. And paying a fee to store deposit that into savings is not worth the online banking convenience or APY. 53 Bank alongside Apple Card/Savings is my new temporary setup for now and I love it

So if you can't pay off your credit every month, it absolutely makes sense to shop around for one of the cards with lower interest rates. 13:00 PSA credit limit increases definitely do affect your credit rating. Around 30% of your score gets calculated based on how much credit you utilise, so you should ALWAYS check how much credit you are using and how much credit limit is right for you. If a lender tells you that they've increased your credit limit by a few thousand $, it can be a good idea to call them to have this revoked. Do not get fooled into thinking that more credit limit means you can/should change your spending patterns.

    • @danielross3582
      @danielross3582 7 месяцев назад +3

      You wouldn’t need to revoke it just keep the same spending pattern. The higher your credit limit is while spending less benefits you. Spending 300 a month with a 10k limit build credit better than spending 300 a month with a 1k limit.

    I save my cash back to help pay for my next phone update. Is there a way to use it to pay Apple without going through a third party, or is it better to just put it into savings and just pay apple immediately rather than using Apple Pay . I would like to avoid the monthly installments. Does this make any sense to you? I would appreciate any input.

      Hi Margaret. I think you would want to transfer funds from your Apple Savings account to Apple Cash and then use the money in Apple Cash to pay Apple for the phone. I’ll let Apple explain:
      “You can't spend money or make purchases in Savings directly through your Apple Card or Apple Pay. If you want to access your funds, you can transfer money from Savings to Apple Cash or to a linked external bank account.”
      “What can I do with my Apple Cash? You can use Apple Cash to make purchases just as you would with physical cards and cash. It works anywhere Apple Pay is accepted - in stores, online, and in apps. You can also transfer your Apple Cash to your bank account.”

      @@renodavidThank You, I think my issue is that there is not enough Apple Cash to complete the complete purchase. Maybe I should just ‘add’ cash to raise the balance. I really wanted to use the monthly payments for the balance, after Apple Cash & Trade In. Can that be done?

    • @renodavid
      @renodavid Год назад

      @@margaretbusteed731 I think you’re going to have to touch bases with Apple to see if you can do that. I’d only be guessing, but it sure sounds feasible to me. Right now I’m just beginning to explore what the options are when it comes to buying a new phone, so I’m no expert. The monthly payments seem relatively painless though. Good luck with your purchase!

    I thought Apple was going to add hundreds of retailers because they have the data of where everyone shops When I got the card, I was excited for the new updates that would be to come. But it has been my worst card chase Citibank and American Express are better than anything Apple offer at this point.

    Can’t get approved, unfortunately. That’s my own fault, I’ve made bad decisions. I’ve seen tons of good stuff about this card and have been wishing I could get approved for an Apple Card. I’d be switching all my subscriptions to this card if I did!

      Financial banking laws vary from country. Apple and Goldman Sacs will have to apply for a banking license in India for it to be available.
