Multipliers were weak compared to Chase Amazon Prime on a durable product i didn't intended to replace annually. In short not worth the inquiry, made no sense.
I’m going to put y’all on Apple Card has a sign up bonus of 75$ when you spend 75 dollars at Nike +a 6% back on up to 500 dollars at Nike. I’m from Oregon so the employee store ain’t too far giving me back essentially 46% off the store on up to 500$ for me personally it has gave me tremendous value and also I did the freezing transunion hack so I wouldn’t get a hard pull not hindering my chase 5/24. I would recommend this card if it makes sense for you.
My thoughts on the Apple Card is that it sucks, on account of Goldman Sachs. 🤣 I hear that Goldman Sachs is not good with consumer credit, which explains their problem with certain applicants. Including their own CEO who didn't qualify for their card either. 🤣 And the good news is that the Apple Card is not needed when there's the Amazon Store Card that offers the same interest-free payments on all Apple products that Apple offers. 😉 QVC did us in with their markups on old Apple stuff, and now that racket is over with, with the Amazon Store Card. 😊 Amazon made it possible to get new Apple products and not get ripped off getting them on payments. 🤩
Apple card is trash. You can't use your bank's bill pay to pay it. The card number is virtual, so Apple forces you to have a bank account in iPhone wallet to pay the Apple card bill. Imagine Verizon, T-Mobile, Chase or Bank of America doing that? There would be an uproar. That card should have a warning to all applicants before using.
Whilst I still used my Apple Card for most offline transactions I try to avoid online as I was shocked to find out they don’t do charge backs. Support is also poor with chat support kicking you between Apple and Goldman Sachs since neither can solve most issues independently.
I love my Apple Card. I use it everyday, except 4 days before my billing cycle end. I have yet to pay interest rate. I love the 0% financing on Apple Products.
I have a credit score over 800. I have the card and use it for everything. Pay it off every month raking in the cash never have had any problems pulling cash out. I got this card because I quit Using Disney card
Yeah or the NavyFed More Rewards More Rewards AMEX card 0 annual fee you can earn 20,000 bonus points (a $200 value) when you spend $1,500 within 90 days of account opening. 3X points at restaurants and on food delivery 3X points at supermarkets 3X points on gas and transit 1X points on everything else
I carried a $4k balance and tried to pay my iPhone payment plan off early and it told me I had to clear the higher interest balance first (entire balance) then I could apply money towards the plan. For people that don't carry a balance they can pay more towards the plan, but if the have a balance, they can't until they clear it first. So I went and cleared the balance a few months later and don't use the card anymore. Only for the plan in the future.
I feel the same way. I still use it sometimes. I got a targeted 5% back on dining but it only lasted for a month. It’s other cards that offer 5% back at apple and streaming subscriptions but why the actual Apple Card doesn’t for their own products is beyond me 😂
@@mancavediscussions4145 only reason it’s up for consideration is for future iPhone purchases to be able to be able to pay it off interest free. Only problem with that is me and my wife only upgraded phones at most every 2 years. I’m still on my XR while my 15 comes in mail so we pretty much run our stuff til the wheels fall off 🤣
It’s a good card for those that are new to credit and don’t understand how things work. It’s also decent enough as a catch-all card for non-bonus category spending via Apple Pay. I have it and like it, but it’s not a daily driver for me. This a very random, but a big reason I wanted it was that it’s a Mastercard and has no foreign tx fees. I was visiting a friend in Rotterdam and a number of places only took MC, so my Visa and Amex cards were no good. This is a good backup for those situations .
yes, that is true. the UI is helpful for those just getting started with credit cards. lmao that is strange that a place only took Mastercard and not even Visa 😅
I’ve been researching this topic and all the “why you shouldn’t get an Applecard” videos are more click bait then actual points. Usually somewhere at the end of the video they make a recommendation for a card that they make money off if you sign up 🤷🏾♂️.
Exactly. That’s why you don’t see a lot of credit union cards and others without affiliate links talked about. Sure, there may be one video here and there, but it’s hard to find in a sea of people talking about the Amex Platinum and how awesome it is. Alliant Credit Union, for example. If you bank with them and meet some basic standards, you get a $0 annual fee card with no foreign transaction fees, and a flat 2.5% on everything. Some people just want to keep it simple. Yes, you can get much more value playing the game…hell, I did it for near 20 years, but it gets exhausting trying to find ways to use up all of your credits to make sense of the high AF.
I got the apple card the day before yesterday, I wanted to finance 2 iphones. Yesterday when I got the phones I could not finance thru apple card or apple finance because my cellphone company is X-finity. I was upset, I'm only going to get the 3% cash back.
I just don't see myself getting the Apple Card. I rather use any of the keeper AMEX card to hit a SUB and to receive extended warranty, price protection, and purchase protection. As a matter of fact, I purchased a MacBook Air using my new Hilton Aspire AMEX card a few hours ago. If I didn't care about extended warranty or the other protections, I would just accumulate a bunch of Apple gift cards that are regularly on sale for 10% off and buy whatever Apple product that I'm targeting.
@@Papeeshka Off the top of my head, I remember seeing it periodically on sale at Target. Also, there are credit card coupons that give you 10% cash back at CVS, grocery stores, Rite Aid, Best Buy,... effectively giving you a minimum of 10% cash back on Apple gift card purchases at these stores.
Mainly makes sense if u only use it towards apple products for the no interest. Other then that i wouldn’t waste a 5/24 slot for it. More of a end game card for me
Are we able to spend over the credit limit? I accidentally got charged for full payment today for a MacBook Pro so I panicked and asked for refund then realized that I can’t do installments due to low credit limit. Now I have to wait for the pending transaction to be cleared 😩
This is not responsible. Folks should be utilizing under or up to 30% of the limit. I don’t know a single lender that will let you borrow more than you were approved for (which is often far too high anyways)

If that 3% went up to 5% on Apple purchases I might would consider but even then I’m not sure if it’s worth a precious 5/24 spot 😂
