    Lice and nits in afro texture hair is hard to get💀 its harder to reach the scalp so theres limited chance of getting blood from the scalp for them to survive (someone made a comment about lice and nits, quite rude, this my reply because they deleted their comment )

    • @queenofpunt
      @queenofpunt Год назад +9

      Oh so that's explains why when me and my siblings we're in a group home ( Foster care) All the white kids kept getting lice ( I'm telling you there was a lice pandemic) but we were the only ones with no lice lmaoo. Nearly the whole house had lice expect for us 😂 I'm telling you i SAW THOSE THINGS CRAWL ON THEIR HEADS some of them had lice the size of common flies😭 Like i could physically see them jumping from a straight head of hair to another. They were visiting their relatives and shi and still we had NONE. My hair type is like 3c with some 3b and my brothers have 4a/4b and the youngest one got type 3c and a bit of 4a.

    • @queenofpunt
      @queenofpunt Год назад +8

      The white's were shocked to why we didn't get the lice they were almost expecting it as if we had brought them in oh I'm sure they would have loved to blame the foreign kids. Some of them had their whole head of hair shaved because of it they had trouble getting rid of it because it was reoccurring. I just laughed at the racist ones who got the lice i was enjoying it and telling them to get far away from me with their colony of lice 😂

    • @queenofpunt
      @queenofpunt Год назад +7

      the lice literally evolved in their scalps that's how big of an issue the lice was for them, even the lice scalp ointments and medicine couldn't get rid of theirs. They evolved to have resistance to the medicine 💀 They ended up shaving their hair especially the boy's

So I’m back to my weekly deep conditioners and low maintained hairstyles and trimming my hair every 3 months or so when it’s needed (because I was very inconsistent with trims) so I’m trying to trust the process at this point lol

    Your hair is my inspiration because I always want that 70s big fro style from the first video I saw of you. I always had dreads and very tight styles and my hair is 4c soft, thin, and can dry easily. Over the few years my two sets of locks resulted in me having traction alopecia and I went bald to restart my journey a third time. I decided to grow an Afro after watch blaxploitation movies and 70s black culture. My front hair and middle patches are still very thin compared to the rest of my head, but your products and my specific routine is growing them back. So far I’m just 4 months in from my big chop, so I got a long way to go but I love what I have so far. I’m glad you found love and knowledge with the natural hair community as I have. Even I as a black man needed help, and I’m glad the 4c hair community of many black women like you really inspired me to restart. Thank you 😊

    I recently did a big chop again, after 6 years of being natural. Though, I liked my huge afro a lot, and was constantly praised for it…it started consuming my thoughts a bit too much, especially when I noticed how damaged it had became. I was constantly hyper-fixating on my hair, to the point where I wouldn’t even leave the house, if one strand was out of place. That’s when I decided, it has to go. Ever since I cut it, I’ve been feeling much better. I still miss my afro though, but I’ve always been able to grow my hair easily, so I’m not too sad about losing all that length. Hair grows back again after all. I’m hoping now that I’m starting over, that it’ll grow out thicker, much like how it looked when I first started growing my afro out 😭😭

    I had thick long hair about 8 months ago and was not happy with my hair. I started to straight my hair, dyeing it and relaxing it a lot and even cutting a lot of my hair. Now my hair is damaged, straight and I have a lot of breakage. My hair is not thick like it used to be and a lot of my hair comes out when I touch of comb it. I decided to go natural again, doing box braids and keeping my hair in protected styles. Can you make a video sharing your routine on hair and how often do you protected styles. Your hair looks amazing would love to get my hair thick and long again. Love your videos. ❤

    I'm currently in middle school rn (summer break litterally started today) and ealier in the year I felt super insecure about my hair, my twin sister (yep I'm a twin to 😂) has more hair then me, still pretty short but it's not as short as mine. Not in the slightest, she can have a medium/big puff while I have a EXTREMELY short one because I have breakage more often then she does (most likely because I brush my hair more then her💀) and I got to a point were I was wearing a hoodie over my head so no one could see my hair and one day I was in my personal finance class and this boy Comes up to me and tries to pull my Hoodie down saying "let me see your dead ends" and I tried to keep it on by holding down on it but he rips it off and the people at my table see it. My short ends. My dried hair. EVERYTHING and it was so embarrassing, they were laughing and I just quietly placed it back on and till this day haven't said anything about it, and I get super down when thinking about that or seeing my sister and I tried to grow it out this year but obviously it didn't work and I got super frustrated , then march rolled around and i wanted to have an afro because i didnt want my hair tied up for st.patricks day and it was the first time i ever had and afro, and then my sister decided to also have one...yay.. i already knew that the students were going to compare me to her, and again her hair isnt that big and thick but the difference between mine and hers makes it look like that, and we went to school and everyone was so wowed on her hairstyle while people asked me "why is yours shorter then hers?" (Kinda sucks cuz I had the hairstyle FIRST and i decided to get the hairstyle FIRST BUT whtever😒)I didnt want to tell them and i even got slightly made fun cuz of it ,then i finally decided "welp guess I'm never getting hair any longer then...THIS! :/" and that was that. I figured that since i always had short hair there is no use in trying anymore, I went about the school year with my hair like that because I didn't know what else to do, and I lost my motivation until this video. This video makes me want to try going on a hair journey again! And it makes me feel like "if she can do it, then I can do it :]" and that makes me feel so much better, seeing your MIDDLE SCHOOL PHOTOS makes me think "HEY IM IN MIDDLE SCHOOL RN, MABYE THE SAME CAN HAPPEN TO ME :DDD" so im gonna try growing 2 inches this summer! Thats short goal #1! I cant express how motavated i am now. Thank you for this ❤
