Just wore mine on my first official trip. I also have the new QC 35's with me. I wanted to compare the two on the aircraft. Seriously, there is no difference, these QC 30's are truly amazing! I LOVE the battery life on them so far. Listened to them for a three hour flight and they went down 17% with constant use. The only downfall so far is that the earphones just dangle from your neck. It would be extremely helpful to at least have them magnetic, so they don't just hang when not in use. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND both the QC 30 and 35's!
I got both QC35 and QC 30 to try .Here is an honest review for a New Yorker (me) . NOISE CANCELLATION: they both r same .When I go to college and walk under the 7 train subway in Queens blvd or waiting inside the subway station ;I don't hear any noise (while playing low volume music ) from the upcoming trains. At first day I had no idea about noise cancellation so I was very close to the edge of the platform, and when train came I was totally surprised (PPl who live in NY they will know how loud it is when the train enter the subway station) I know its very good but in other hand its dangerous as well . ...NOte: you have to be lit extra careful while walking and listening music ,because you may not hear if any car honk behind you .. MUSIC QUALITY : I am felling the QC 35 has a better sound quality .I'm a very normal person don't know anything about music elements ; all I know QC 35 sounds very real and I get a felling that im in home front of my home theater ,it doesn't bother ear drum. But music of Qc 30 doesn't feel that special and it bothers my ear drum , we will hear wind by the microphone, music drops sometimes . And QC 35 has amazing sound but it hurts my zaw area/cheekbone .I'm now confuse which one to keep and which one should go back to stores???
Rather buy this than the Samsung Gear IconX, I think with the Bose at least we could use it for calling and voice assistance, plus a better battery life.
+The Tech Man yeah I can see it being used at the gym but try and run a marathon... They should have included an option to have a powered tether to just plug in for longer treks, 2h is nothing when you're listening it continuously, count long trips on the train out. I dunno I think they're too pricey for what it offers. Given there are options out there for not much more that does a lot more.
It's all about the battery life!! I hate the LGs but the battery life is soooo good!!! You get at least 13 to 16 hrs easy.. But if these are 10 hrs I might give em a try
I just ordered the Qc 35s , pick it up tomorrow and have the option of returning these headphones hence the question, should I wait for the Qc 30's or stick with the Qc 35's . Any opinions would be appreciated 👍 thanks.
Any word on release date yet? I'm really waiting on a full review. I'm looking at the Q35 but really want ear buds and I'm wondering how comfortable they are, and will they have some way to connect in a wired mode with an airplane's entertainment system? Maybe a bluetooth adapter into the airlines entertainment.
Thanks for the update! I wish Bose would just announce a date. I'm going to be looking for something else today as I need to have it purchased by the end of the month.
Hey Enrique, It looks like Bose has a buy now option on it's website but it's not live yet. I called Bose and they told me I should be able to walk in a store on Sunday and purchase.
The ambient noise DEFINITELY gets in and it's a big problem. I have had little success with the noise canceling. With it turned all the way up on the "here comes treble" app, I barely hear any reduction in the outside sounds of vacuums or lawn blowers. So far not impressed, for this money. The outdoor wind noise, big problem with the wind whistling around the ear buds that fit loosely. I am just reporting what I have experienced on 3 long outdoor suburban walks with these. And for phone calls, worse, as the "noise isolated" mic pics up LOTS of wind noise and other sounds. I really prefer the neck bands to over the head, but perhaps I should just go back to my cheaper Shure wired buds with the triple flanged ear pieces. These very effectively push into the ear canal till they are snug and then block out noise behind them. Right now my opinion is that they block better than the expensive Bose cancel. I will continue to evaluate...
I received these as a gift. They easily had the best ANC and great sound. They fit well and the ear buds never fall out. Too bad they DIED after just 3 WEEKS.... the person that gifted them returned them and bought me something else. A set of $300 earbuds should last longer then that.....
I don't like neck bands .. makes earbuds less compact to carry, can be cumbersome / annoying to some folks, and its hot where I live , meaning it leaves a tan impression on my neck area after 2 days of use outdoors on the go .. Of course removing the neck band isn't an option here, because it has the battery in it (and probably other components) .. Looks like I'll be trying something else .. I'll have to try the Bose Soundsports and see just how much outside noise effects the sound quality.. we shall see
+J Stevens .. lol .. i'm enjoying both headsets .. but the soundsports wireless should be 10 hour or better .. unfortunately it isn't .. I carry Anker Portable Charger with me, so I'm good .. but still, yeah, your right ..
+OutlinedDragon .. Bose Sounsport Wireless have good sound , very comfy, very little noise leakage (basically none but of course at 100% volume it's very minimal leakage) .. "I like them a lot"!! Only flaw is the battery, which isn't bad (I don't use/keep the earbuds on all day and they last me 4-5 days on 1 charge), but I carry portable battery charger with me anyway)..But Bose should have made 10 hours battery life at least ( The QC35 have 20 hour battery life) ..
Bought a pair and was greatly disappointed. They kept cutting out the Bluetooth signal. If you buy beware that some outlets will charge you a restocking fee if you return. Check before you buy. Would not recommend.
dont buy these, rubber on the neck band comes appart, Ive had mine replaced twice and both times it starts coming appart after 6 months. this time I'm downgrading to Bose Soundsport free.
The neckband is horrible design idea. I'm surprised that Bose releases such a major product with a neckband. Now, how long should I wait for a neckband-free successor for qc20?
Im so disappointed with Bose. I have owned several pairs, over the ear and in ear. They have all fell apart after normal usage...These are my latest. Last year they fell apart, the rubber casing, and they power controls under the rubber casing fell apart. due to catching moisture from my neck. I don't work out with them on, but in hot tropical environments they will absorb sweat just from normal usage, Bose replaced them for me last year when I was in Sri Lanka. They lasted about 6 months, and started falling apart again. Now they want $195 CDN to replace them as they are out of warranty. This is a design issue. why would I want to spend more and end up with the same issue again? Im done with Bose...
+runahair18 can't possibly fit all the components necessary into an earbud....at least not yet. There's far more than you could imagine involved in bluetooth noise cancelling earbuds.

I bought them and I'm getting all the features working like advertised so I'm happy with my purchase
Thank God quick & to the point reviews. My attention span lasts for about 2 min. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Bose local store called me about this one. Hell yeah! I love Bose and their customer service.

Farzana Fatema wish we could do the testing here In the Philippines. they don't allow that here. lol

Completely different animal honestly. I'll be buying the Samsung ones for when I'm at the gym and these ones for while I'm at University.

+Kyle Ruggles You need the soundsport wireless then.

David said to wait for QC30. I just bought QC20 I might return it aswell hahha.
if you want earphones, then wait for these. if you want full headphones, then get the QC 35.
Did you know about the new wireless sport headphone sensor, and yellow!? Thanks

They are available at best buy today.
Let me know how you like them. I can't get them until Tuesday sadly.
10hrs thats what im talking about
The old ones have 16 hours...
But they weren't wireless...
But 10 hrs is not enough for me. I wish they put more battery in it.
YesManQ8 yeah 10 years would be better
Rushi Patel No that would make the headphone too bulky and kind of heavy.
Interesting certainly more discrete than over ear cans but look a lot more flimsy..
This is Excellent!!!!!🏆🏆🏆🏆

In Ear Sennheiser Momentum would you chose this instead?
Is there any difference in regards to the bass or sound quality between a wired and a wireless earphone?
But does it sound good????
would you be able to use it on the plane? it's Bluetooth,
You never mentioned the negative things about this like other users who bought this product. This is a Biased review.
is it, okay then Cons Mercado
He sounds a little like Bob from bobs burgers lol
Sony WI-1000x or the Bose QC30better?
Wow I want them
I heard the rubber around the interior of the collar peels off.
Is that true?
Yes, don't buy...I had it happend 2x..now they want $195 CDN to replace them...Rippoff...Fix your design issues Bose.
neckbeard-style bluetooth headphone
None of these videos show how the retracting part works.
i would rater have durability from no neck band especially when im getting bose quality sound
You might be able to take the neck thing off
You need the neck band bc thats what's actually doing the nose cancellation
Jorge Orellana how? its just a plastic housing to hold the wire in place....
Spending $300 almost but sad part it’s. Bose company engineering team” don’t coming up with wireless charging futures.? 📉📈📊📝
Bought a pair and was greatly disappointed. They kept cutting out the Bluetooth signal. If you buy beware that some outlets will charge you a restocking fee if you return. Check before you buy.
Would not recommend.
app for ios and android systems, no support for windows phone again...
That is amazing
300 dollars ...nevermind I'll stick with the jabra halo...15 hour play time for 80 bucks
Where did you get them?
I regret buying the mdr1000x :( TREBLE IS HORRIBLE
crafting is rough.

Neckband headphones are so ugly!
Yes, but the neck band is for nose cancelling
+Jorge Orellana oh no, nose cancellation? They'll never smell again

+runahair18 can't possibly fit all the components necessary into an earbud....at least not yet. There's far more than you could imagine involved in bluetooth noise cancelling earbuds.
+Austin Duffy lmao
Ridiculous dog collar. 🍖 already pops out too much from the ears and now this? Should have had 50 hours charge time with this size.
why do these headphones sound like they're being reviewed by Donald Trump?
I am I the only one who gets annoyed who I see someone wearing these it's, just like the bluetooth earpiece in the mid 2000's
Kind of but at the same time, I can't wear my bluebud X to work because it doesn't have the band and that's a requirement at the hospital I work at.
The Tech Man really??? mine stay on fine when I'm at work or school
