I have ordered one to replace my zenphone 8 😁
I'm still using my S10e and will need a replacement soon, so I'm glad to have this option. I understand why large phablet phones are popular. For many people the phone is their default device for accessing the net. For some it's their only device for net access. I'm provided by my employer with a laptop/LTE. I have my own laptop. I have a couple of high end desktops at home. For me the phone is a peripheral device. I prefer a phone that fits into a pants side pocket and can be operated with one hand.
I have smaller hands, so the smaller screen was a big selling point for me. Being able to reach all the way across the screen is so much more comfortable for one handed use

I think we should appreciate the fact that someone still cares about compact phones and still manage to cram up all the good things in it. I love compact phones the likes of which were felt in Pixel 3 a, and it was a lighter phone too, making it minimal to carry and gives it minimal aesthetic altogether. I know people have forgotten about Light phone 2, but its such form factors that makes us forget we are holding or carrying a brick. And use it less.
As someone who works at tech sales, a lot of people wish they had proper options for small phones. The Zenfone 10 is pretty much a perfect phone in regards to what I would want from a phone. And judging by the amount of questions I get regarding smaller phones, if they made like a Zenfone 10 Lite with some reduced specs at 599 or 499, that phone would sell like crazy.
But extreme kudos to Asus for keeping up with the Zenfone series and keeping it small when everyone else is going bigger.
Galaxy S22, S23 are the same size as the Zenfone, but for some reason only the Zenfone is ever mentioned as a compact phone.
@@jantomsic1944 all versions of S23 are above 6", Zenfone is under 6, how is that same?? No to mention that spec wise only biggest S23 can compete with it.
@@jantomsic1944Man that's exactly what I'm thinking all the time, looking around the Zenfone 10 tests ! The iPhone 14, Samsung S23 have practically the same size as the Zenfone (the Zenfone just as 0.18 inch less but larger bezels).
For lower price there already are Motorola Edge 30 Neo and Sony Xperia 10 V but their main issues are low end processor and not that good cameras.
If Asus backed their phones with 4/5 years of software updates, the Zenphone 10 would be in my hands right now.

Nobody buys them because nobody makes them. And the reason people go for bigger phones is that companies make you buy it. If I, for example, want to have more than 512gb of memory, I need to get a bigger phone because they don't have such option in their smaller phones. AND THERE IS NO option to expand memory with an SD card as it used to be. So my answer is - companies MAKE you buy bigger phones!
I have an Asus ZenFone 10, and I'm really happy with it so far!
I was actively searching for a compact phone. I don't like big and heavy phones, they are uncomfortable to use (at least for me and ny small hands), but i didn't want to compromise performance, because I use my phone as a work aid and i like gaming.

Exactly. I didn't get the Zenfone 9 because of some stuff I wanted and they didn't have but now I'm sold. Next year will be getting one!
Can you elaborate? What features were missing in Zenfone 9? Wireless charging?
Well, apparently the USB is still 2.0 and they removed autofocus from the selfie and ultrawide cameras, so no macro and never in good focus, other than that I agree.
Except they took out Auto Focus from the Ultrawide & front camera, which means the UW can't do macro shots anymore and are just generally way more annoying

Right... To put it simply for you: Any guy who is physically active and likes to exercise a lot absolutely hates carrying around a big ass phone. If you ask me, 5.1 inches is perfect size. Still miss my Galaxy S6.
Don't use screen sizes as a measurement. Back then most phones were 16:9 with huge bezels. But now, we got curves and different aspect ratios so it really doesn't make sense to use screen sizes.
Extreme example, the phone with a 7.92inch screen is actually smaller than a 6.7inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. That phone is a Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha and it has a wrap around screen.
Akshually... Another thing that baffles me is how he compares every feature with other phone and diss on the zenphone, like camera with pixel (600$ phone.. it is closer to s23 ultra than anything & that's it.. ) .. he bashes out on the battery too which is as much as s23+ ... @@fenn_fren definitely no. 5.1 inches is crazy tiny unless you have microscopic hands. I have a 6" oppo and that is just ok size, a little bigger at 6.2-6.4 inches seems to be the perfect size because small displays cause eye strain and are just not a great viewing experience. But that doesn't mean that bigger is better, I have a 7.3 inch honor 8x max too and that is wayy too big. I think the width of phones needs to increase and height needs to decrease, that way it is usable corner to corner with one hand and a good viewing experience too, though it might look a little odd
Azus was never into catering the mass market. They have their small and loyal fan base with the Zenfones and their ROGs. It's rare to see such brands in the world who are trying something different than others where literally every other company is trying to make generic smartphones with generic specs for the mass market. I love Asus. If you know, you know.
Its asus
They also make great laptops. I had about 4 years of my first Asus laptop before I retired it. I got the OLED Zenbook last year and it's awesome for binge watching.
Someone forgotten about Zenfone 2 and the massive amount of variants they have in attempt to cater to mass market.
@@edwinooi9166 I remember it. The Zenfone 5(the OG with the Intel CPU)-5z era was their attempt at a mass market appeal for Asus. Nice review as usual! Super informative. Just a point of correction on thermals. I believe there is no "airflow" in a phone since there are no fans (in most phones. The asus ROG phone is the only phone I could remember having an actual fan). At a hardware level, the phone dissipates heat by conduction through the use of heat sinks in most scenarios.
I appreciate his clever way to have us watch his sponsored part of video by recording it on the product he's reviewing. brilliant way
Asus also had really good Gcam support, allowing for usage of full sensor resolution etc. That is something to keep in mind as even the Pixel benefits greatly from a good custom GCam!
It's not about Asus, mobile having Snapdragon processor have way better gcam support than mediatek
Pixel 4a and 5 are still great compact phones. Using GCamMods is not a good user experience most of the time. Most users are better of with the original.

I really like small compact phones....I don't want to put a whole slab in my pocket......but companies doesn't produce small phones that much
Do you want to know why companies don't produce small phones that much?
Because people don't buy them, despite what the minority on the internet keep going on and on about small phones.
@@garycheung4658 People who want small phones don't buy the "small" phones that companies are releasing because they aren't small enough. Today's small phone is utterly gigantic compared to the first 4 cell phones I ever owned. Then companies justify not making them because "there's no demand". You're not gonna sell me on a "small" phone that is substantially larger than my current phone. I will upgrade to a phone that is actually smaller than what I have (a pixel 4, 5.79in screen). If I'm shopping for a small phone, there is no world where i'm buying a phone larger than the phone I already have, which I already feel is too large.
This is a great small phone with a great battery too, you should try it
@@KyleClerico That's because making them smaller would force even more compromises (even smaller camera, battery, resolution, worse thermals, etc.) than the ones already made, as shown in this video which I hope you watched. Basically going even smaller would give people even fewer reasons to buy them.
We have to face reality that the modern smartphone experience, at least presently, is not compatible with small form factors. What people want and expect from a phone simply can't exist at such small sizes.
@@idle_sheepit's a matter of marketing. People look at spec numbers without knowing if they need it. They're just "more is better". A 1080p display is fine for 99% of use cases yet buyers will buy a phone with more pixels just because it has more pixels. It's just the way it works...
Asus is my favorite tech company hands down! They create actually good and practical hardware with lot’s of research and development put into their products. Their Zenbook Notebooks with touchscreens, gaming hardware and smartphones are among my absolute favorite possessions.
I love my iphone mini and wish they made a comeback! the normal iphone gives me hand cramps when I use it for too long. The Zenfone Series was always amazing. It's kinda sad that not many people consider it 😅
the best way to support is to consider it yourself.
However I can understand if price makes you slip up, after all I too want people to consider the motorola flip phones however I can't consider it myself due to price 🤐
They have a big problem and it's that they don't give a duck about the software support, I was close to buy the previous one but there is no way i am paying that amount for a phone that I like a shit ton if they just don't support the software for more than 2 years (that for sure will be just one update or two and buggy)
the phone is not available in my country so third party seller will sell an export set, but if there is any problem on the phone. Can't repair locally due to lack of resources and need to ship back to the original country which is more troublesome. Paying a $1000+ phone with 2 years software update nahhhhh.
Its kinda sad that not many people can afford it
Because the support is just way too shirt
I wouldn’t consider 5.92 inch a small phone. But then again, I’m using the iPhone 13 mini and think this is the perfect size on a phone. Bought an iPhone 13 mini a month ago instead of the Pixel 6, which is even smaller than the zenfone (5.5 inches vs. 5.9) and I've never been so pleased with a smartphone. I can reach anywhere on the screen with my thumb, the smartphone feels great in my hand, and the performance and cameras are uncompromising. If you are tired of modern smartphones, then try compacts.
I had a 12 Mini and loved it. However I upgraded to a 14 pro. There was no mini version of 14 but I knew I didn’t want the plus. The size is still fine. But I sometimes miss the 12 mini. But then when I watch something the size is appreciated. I’d love if they could make a big phone that was still very light. The weight is more of an issue than the size. Maybe I’m just weak but I really don’t like phones that weight so much.
Woah, I literally did this a few months ago. I picked up a Pixel 6 but returned it and got an iPhone13 mini...have it ever since.
The iPhone Mini screen is 5.4", not 5.5". Also, the body of the Zenfone is a big as a regular iPhone 13/14 and S23, due to the large bezels, so don't be fooled by Asus' misleading marketing.

I upgraded from an LG G6 to a Samsung S10e for that reason. It's not as small as the iPhone 13 mini, which is the phone I set my eyes on the most but it's just compact enough.

Same here. If you're not glued to your phone all day long, a small phone is perfect. Yet again 800 dollars is not something everyone has to spare just to have a small phone. If cheaper phones with small form factor come back, I'm getting one for sure, my 6.7inch Redmi is an absolute pain to use
@@Mr.Engine993 Agreed, the price is a little high.

I miss smaller phones. Yeah, big screens are nice but one handed usability and fitting comfortably in a pocket is more important to me. I guess we have come a full circle now. In early 2000's every company including Nokia and Siemens competed who can make a smaller phone.
I specifically bought a 2nd gen iPhone SE since I don't use my phone too much (it just needed to work and be reliable) and I wanted something small enough that I could fit in my pocket (and women's pockets generally don't hold much more than a small phone if they're real pockets at all). The iPhone Mini 13 would probably be my preferred size when I need to upgrade.
i am using iphone 13 mini for 2 months now and it's the best decision i've ever made in my life. The camera, the size, the battery is decent but acceptable. You should go for it later!!
Some of us only use a phone for msgs & calls. I do not use my phone for watching anything & I don't use social media at all & do not carry it with me that often.
0:37 Kitten is so adorable.....I kept replaying that few seconds just to re-watch it trying ti bite the phone....lol...
this is why i really love my samsung xcover 5. because its not to big , but it can handle a lot of the things a regular customer needs in their daily life.
Agree, there are still small amount of compact sized phone nowadays compared to ultra size phones.
I have mad respect for Asus for believing in the right thing. How consistently they’re trying to innovate compact phones. I use an iphone 13 mini and words don’t do justice to my user experience. It just feels right. My girlfriend has an iphone 13 pro and its battery backup is almost similar to mine. Also, her battery health is falling faster than mine although I abuse my phone when it comes to charging habits. It is so funny to me when someone says bigger phones have bigger screen for details. Sure, a movie formatted for an IMAX screen looks exactly same and detailed in a 7 inch phone but if you scale it down 1 more inch it’s a disaster 😂 As per this logic 8 inch phone will have better display, camera and battery. 10 inch one will be even better. Go bigger! Sure a bigger screen has benefits but at what cost? A phone has become already an extension to human body these days, and let’s make them as big as possible to immerse ourselves into the black mirrors.
Life is about balance. And most if not all prefer larger phones that gives them added functionality despite their drawbacks. Thats why most companies are dropping their compact size for bigger variants. The demand for smaller phone is just not there except for a small niche market. Similar to gaming phones like rog gaming phones.
@@uptop377 so is that the thing most of the premium smartphone makers are now going for compact phones ??? Just look at S23, Asus Zenfone 9, Xiaomi 12 etc etc...
Compact phones literally have no direct rival atm
I don't really get the hate on large screens. I like them and if we are going to immerse ourselves into addictive black mirrors, why not make them so that they aren't detrimental to eyesight by making them bigger? Your point is pretty lackluster. I think the average person can easily handle a 6.2-6.4 inch phone and is not being usable for a single hand really that big of a deal? You people are nitpicking
Someone just spoke right. As a movie buff and as someone who is super comfortable using iphone se2, I can confirm.
Pretty much everything is on point...except the battery life. Yes, it's smaller, but they've optimized it wonderfully. It gets the same battery life as a Samsung S23+ (of the reviews I've seen so far). Impressive to say the least.
as a mere 5 foot woman who often carries her phone in my back pocket, I always look for smaller durable phones that come with decent specs. options are limited but I will replace my s10e soon. considering the Xcover5
Small phones ain't small, r just the right size!!!!🗿🗿🗿
I remember when the HTC HD2 was considered ridiculously large with a 4.3in screen. The main difference between large and small phones is use. If the phone is primarily for communication then a smaller, more portable phone is great. If the phone is an entertainment device then the larger screen is the primary feature.
Don't see why a smaller phone wouldn't be a great media consumption device, the PSP had a 3.1' screen and was a media consumption device
@@bri1085 It is not that a smaller screen cant consume media but that the larger screens have a broader appeal.
The hd2 was my first smart phone. It was a terrible, terrible phone for it's OK. Windows was terrible but the second I flashed android on it, it became the best phone I ever had. All my friend who still used nokias would call it calculator for it's size
@@Zoheb.S I started using smart phones years before the HD2 and have the opposite opinion about its quality and the usefulness of the old windows phone. The windows phone I had the year before iPhone was released did things that didnt come to iPhone until the 4s/5 era and android even later.
I love the HD2 as hardware that I'd run everything on it from windows phone to android to windows XP and windows 7. It was incredible for the time.
My original point though is that it was one of the first large flat slab phones and was mocked for it but now it is significantly smaller than what is considered a small phone now.
I don't usually comment here but I think you really dropped the ball with this one. With the influence you have, you could have objectively reviewed the phone for what it is (a compact device that doesn't have most of the drawbacks of a compact device which is a marvelous engineering feat by Asus). But it feels like you already had a generic script for "Why small phone are bad" and you were waiting for any small phone to come on the review desk to talk about that and this just happens to be this phone which does not have any small phone problem (thermal performance and battery life) unsurprisingly this shows a disconnect between the points you are making and the objective reality of this product.
Well said!
He never said "why small phones are bad" he said "why nobody really buys small phones" which is more objective. He is giving an objective review.
@@sandersb725well if you look at the video title, it feels like that. However he's giving a very generic take on what's actually an engineering Marvel for the size. If he wants to complain about the small size of it being why it's not as good as the bigger ones, he could just ask people to buy a bigger phone? It's a SMALL phone. It's not meant to be a one on one competition to bigger phones.
I loved when he said they could have made the phone a bit bigger and increased the battery size to 5300 mAh, not realizing that even the big phones don't have a battery that large unless it's a gaming phone.
For example the s23 Ultra from Samsung could only fit 5000 mAh, but the Asus, which is meant to be a compact phone btw, should try and fit 5300 mAh of battery into the device
@@plushycatt He's not complaning about the size in general, he's giving people warnings on how the size might affect the phones performance, while giving facts on why it is a marvel. He isn't belittling the phones accomplishments by giving the side effects.
I wish they could make more slim but tall phones, like the Flip, but in candybar style. I find the width of the Flip to be the most comfortable to hold but you still have enough screen area to have a video playing in the corner while using other apps.
To me, when it comes to screens, the sweet spot is somewhere between 5.8 and 6.4. The thing about the lower end of the mentioned range is, that the battery capacity is usually 20-25% lower. And that's the reason why people don't want it.
Last year I upgraded from 4.6inch Sony Xperia XZ1 to Asus Zenphone 9 and I find this phone to be an absolute limit to what I would consider comfortable to carry around. It's a really good phone overall, maybe just a little to big for my taste :) Screen is large enough for every day use like practical internet browsing and watching youtube video from time to time. I much prefer it siting relatively comfortably in my pocket, than some flat screen TV reminding of it's existence there all the time.
If Asus won't follow others and will keep this route, most possibly my next phone will be Zenphone 11 or 12
The XZ1 Compact was the best phone I ever had. Perfect size, perfect resolution, and it was durable. I'm so mad that they phased out 3G
sadly asus is shutting zenfone down
@@astromache fake news
you wouldn't really want the zenphone 11 or 12 or even the 10. It will probably always have the newer chip which is wasteful because of small screen size, which means you really wouldn't game on it, it will still have the small camera meaning that new ai camera features are not going to game change the camera system. the sd 8+ gen 1 on zenphone 9 is already efficient enough that the new sd 8 gen 2 on zenphone 10 is only giving few more minutes on battery life(assuming the batteries of both are new)
Finally, someone who understands the struggle of small phone enthusiasts! It's frustrating how manufacturers keep pushing for larger and larger screens, assuming that everyone wants a phablet-sized device. As someone who prefers compact phones for their portability and one-handed use, I truly appreciate the points made in this video. Let's hope phone companies start recognizing the demand for smaller form factors and give us more options! 🙌📱
Edit: Thanks For The Likes! ❤️
If you want that badly, you should buy it, everyone say that they want it, but all of them are discontinued because of the low interest rating..
I switched to an old phone I had lying around just because it was small and lightweight. 6.7 inches and over 200 grams of phone is insufferable. The only reason I came back to my 6.7inch phone is because the software in that phone was truly ancient and the battery didn't last that long either. I would definitely root for a small phone. I have big hands but it's still painful to use a phone this big
@@TamasKiss-yk4sthard to find plus massive tradeoffs

@@ThePursuitWOD there you go. There is no point in asking the manufacturers to make something that won't sell, just because someone find it amusing.
I was never a fan of bigger phones, there's been alot of updates for the Zenfone 10 & it's been working great for me, i use the 512gb version with 16gb ram. Battery lasts a full day or more when used occasionally. Only downside it has which i agree with is the camera. It does take great pics but at a certain lighting and before the 2x zoom.
If I want a tablet, I get a tablet. A phone needs to fit in a pocket
i will cherish my iphoneSE1 forever. the 5s’ classic design, touch ID, headphone jack, great cameras, ios15, and clear screen. it’s everything i need and i can actually use it one handed and carry it in my pocket without it feeling like a brick. i love “small” efficient phones.
The slide typing feature works better on that phone than any that’s come out since. I only got rid of mine because the battery was fully dead and the selfie camera is genuinely terrible. I’m ok with my 12 mini, but it’s still heavy for my pinky finger.
@@yael9137im afraid to upgrade my iphone8, it’s already to heavy for my pinky 😂
Mini as SE is for specific people. It is so much convenient to have a smaller size phone. People forget how screens used to be. The idea of having a phone that can fit in your pocket no matter what is amazing
I have xperia 10 IV since was released, best battery on the market , small size but I would like to see my next phone even smaller...
I want a smaller phone. About a solid 5" screen size. One-handed use is precious to me, and not to mention a more comfy, less-bulky pocket.
I buy small phones! All of the cons you list on this video are either non-issues or not cons for me. I just much prefer having a small device that is comfortable to hold/use, mainly because it's a communications device or gets used for randomly checking something online, basically I don't consume content on my phone - I have a computer or TV for that. The only thing that concerned me from the launch event was their talk of AI image retouching to make skies bluer and grass greener - that is probably the biggest con on this phone for me
Asus phones have terrific longevity. My Zenfone Max Pro M1 still survives after 5 years even after I broke the display twice and now my father uses it. It's the same size at 5'9" but that's how big phones used to be back then. Now 6'5" is the standard.
It has bezels so the actual size is larger than 5.9 inches. If you compare the actual size of the phone to modern smartphones its pretty much equivalent to a regular 6.5 inch.
Soo true. I have the same one.
dont asus had bad software? How does it last so long
I'm still using my zenfone 5 right now 😂
I'm also using a Zenfone 5 from 2018.
I'm still rocking the 8, might upgrade when the 12 comes out
I used to be exactly like this until recently. I was always aiming for big phones just under 7 inches, well because of course you need a bigger screen? So my phone broke and I needed something flagship level (because of work) and I needed it ASAP. The fastest option I could get was the Xiaomi 12, been using there phones a lot, but I came from a 6.67" panel to a 6.27'' panel. It felt kind of weird at first, but I definitely more enjoy it now.
i own a Zenfone 9 as a daily driver and i couldn't be happier! it's an awesome, reliable machine in a compact size.

I have a mini, love how it fits in the pocket. But the problem is that the keyboard is so small it takes 2 times as long to type. So I am going with a bigger one next time.
My first smartfone was an Alcatel Zenfone . I loved it for the compact size , decent battery life and a headphone jack . I want to get a 10 .
When all companies are pushing to bigger screens and folding features, I think they are forgetting that weight and size are also an aspect. Take iphone 13 pro max, it's big and it's edges cut into your hand, carrying it in a trouser pocket you can feel its weight pulling on your pants, while a bigger screen can be good I think a smaller phone is easier to carry around and do everyday tasks, and zenfone is packing both the astounding performance with a smaller and sleeker look. Honestly its just amazing how much they can pack in that.
They’re not pushing for it. They’re simply responding to the market demand. And the fact is people like big phones. That’s why the iPhone Minis were only 5% of all iPhone sales. Only a small percentage of people bought the small model.
I have a slim phone, and I personally find it hard to type on it. My fingers just aren’t cutting it for me. The Zenfone 10 looks utterly incredible with its small but not terrible design.
loooove the small phones, the Zen phone was too expensive, so I bought the Sony Xperia V something for 400$ and while it's not great (the camera is trash) the battery (by far the best I ever had) and the size is so so perfect. When someone hands me their big phone I just can't see myself using one again.
I dont need screen real estate on a cellphone, I need to use it one handed with my smaller hands. I hate that Sony abandoned the Compact line as the XZ1 Compact was really good. What I really mourn is the HTC Mini line, though. The HTC One Mini 2 was probably my favourite phone ever.
if this comes out and is hyped enough, it could be a start of something really good, phones are getting too big nowadays, something like this is necessary.
I actually liked this zenfone 10. My last phone was a motorola one, it's size was just perfect. I like phones that I can use with one hand. But the problem was the battery, as usual, last year I bought the umidigi power 7 max, giant phone, with ridiculous 10000 mAh. The only downsize with my actual phone is it's size. I miss operating my phone with one hand. I can see myself easily using this zenfone 10 without a problem, even with the "small' battery compared to my actual phone...
There's also the problem that Samsung and Apple have 6.1" base flagships, but because this Zenfone 10 has a 5.9" screen with thicker bezels, the dimensions are almost the same, and people trust these bigger companies for both hardware and software.
Headphone jack? I'm sold. I'll buy one sight unseen, lol.
I've been using an iPhone 13 mini for almost a year and a half by now and I absolutely love it. I wish more companies would make small flagship phones but as you mentioned there are plenty of challenges manufacturers have to face in making one. Maybe one day there would be a Google Pixel mini? Or another iPhone SE with the same body as the 13 mini? Who knows, awesome video BTW!
If that is going to be released by apple that will be a game changer.
Apple has killed the mini, so don't hold your breath.
Same here, bought myself an iPhone 13 mini today and it's perfect!
🔥 If Google released a Pixel Mini I'd faint.
In the era of small android LED Tv's that aren't day to day user friendly, what Asus is doing is brave and definitely worth every bit of appreciation. Love Zephone 10. I'm still using my Pixel 4a for the small form factor and my options are running out as Google is making phablets these days. Thank you Asus for making the perfect phone for the small form factor phone enthusiasts. I have Asus monitors, Asus Tuff mobo, Asus Graphics card and I'm definitely getting this Zenphone
10. Thank you Asus for Keeping the Headphone jack, PROVIDING A CHARGER AND CABLE!!!!! Oh and thank you Asus for actually listening to the users.
Love having a headphone jack
I just switched away from my Pixel 4a and the only options I saw and felt comfortable in my hand were the Motorola Edge 30 Neo (very slightly longer but same in-hand feeling), and Sony's Xperia 5/10 line (slightly more narrow and longer).
These were literally the only options. Then the Zenfone got announced, but I wasn't going to spend upwards of $600 (equivalent, I'm in Sweden) on a phone so I ended up with a lightly used Xperia 5 IV at around $300 from a serial upgrader since I wanted decent wireless charging and a tele lens if possible. At an actual midrange price, the Motorola & Xperia 10 are the only choice.
PIXEL 4A GANG. RIDE THIS BABY TO THE END. (and then I'll buy another when this one dies, and flash a lighter weight OS on it so it can keep up with the times)
Don't really get the love for small phones. Having an issue of not being able to handle something with one hand sounds nitpicky but if you want a small phone, the only available option is the asus zenfones and if you don't want to splash out too much, the s20 or redmi note 11. If you are on a really tight budget, the s10e refurbished. If you can afford something in the middle, the iphone 12 and 13 mini also on the refurbished market. Those are literally the only options out there rn
As a small phone user, i dont like to have bricks in my pocket, im used to the battery limitation so having a smaller and handier phone is what i look for when i need a new device.
This reminds me the time I bought my first iphone, a 13 mini when 14 release, the salesman asked me am I excited to pick up my new iphone, and I told him I’m here to get my 13 mini😂 I used some small phone from Sony and a Samsung S10e, after my s10e start to be not so reliable I changed to 13 mini, hope it can hold up until other brand release a flagship mini phone.

2 months ago I went to an iPhone 13 mini after 10 years on Android (all Samsung). I bypassed the S23 Ultra and literally left the ecosystem to get a small phone that wasn’t garbage with short security update cycle. I’m 6’ tall and on my phone a lot, I would be fine with a slightly smaller phone. I don’t miss a larger screen at all.
6.55 inch & I really feel comfortable with this. Not too big or small! Thanks
am sporting a Doogee S Mini (very small rugged phone) as a daily driver. If i need something bigger, I would use my huge (relative to the Doogee) Infinix phone. Both are serving me very well especially when travelling.
It's an engineering marvel how they pack all this premium features in small body. Asus is flexing before other brands. Hope they continue this
