This is an absolutely flawless performance. What I enjoy most is that the sound of the trumpet after a rest, just begins; without any attack or distortion of the sound as it emerges. That is so hard to do because it requires complete control of the air flow, the whole airway, and the embouchure.
Trumpeter007 Nah I'm nowhere near this guy's level. But I do personally prefer Brandon Ridenour's tone. It really depends on the type of music that's being played.

This is my favorite classical piece of all time! I've searched nearly every version of this piece available on RUclips, both in the original oboe, and arranged for trumpet. Many have very lilting tempos, and the florishes are improvised poorly, etc. This is my absolute favorite rendition. Thank you so much for sharing, and great job to the tumpetist, accompanying musicians and camera work!!

These people are celestial beings, lent to us for a time despite our sins. And this is the stuff that is played in Heaven, by the angels. The wonderful thing is that the foregoing is mere poetic fable, that these young players are flesh and blood, just like ourselves..

Best trumpeter I’ve heard. Absolutely breathtaking tone. Completely mastery of his instrument. What a blessing he is to the planet.
I don’t think anyone plays the Picc the way he does. Intonation is so challenging in this instrument. His tones are so centered.

This is so incredibly beautiful...I played trumpet when I was younger. I miss that time when I listen this.

This is Albinoni's Oboe concerto number 2 opus 9. The trumpet here is lovely but with the Oboe playing this it is glorious !
