Product Configurator with database features, UI and animation presets ready to use. Available on... UE4 Marketplace: www.unrealengi... Artstation Marketplace: acidarts.artst...
Ohhhh man. This is crazy. Am actually learning how to do this from scratch but purchasing this would make my work even Faster.. when will this be available?. Question, to send the final product to clients, do we have to package the UE project or is there some sort of unreal wiever the client can experience this from, without having the need of downloading 5gigs or more to view this on their screens. I would definitely need this keep us posted.. cheers.
Thank you so much. Description updated with the link to buy the product. Concerning the delivery support, you have to package the UE4 project. You can download a demo of what you can achieve yourself when packaging in UE4. (link of demo in the description of the product). For this demo, it's around 500mb. A project like that is not that heavy, so it's acceptable for a client to download it on his computer. ;) Hope it answers your questions.
@@acidarts Just got it!! hahahahaah thank you! I'll be playing with this all day today .. so basically you just drag what ever model you build and just adjust the parameters. can you re do your cameras or everything is there as default.. can we insert our own HDRI's as well Megascans textures for the environment? this is a sexy thing you build... thank you!!
@@mae2309 Please read the documentation, everything is explained on how to add your own models. Concerning your own HDRI, I will add a short explanation tomorrow on how to edit the map to have your own HDRIs.
Yes it is possible, you can export the project to HTML, with some optimization of your materials, but Epic has stopped developping HTML with the recent versions. You can still deploy your apps to HTML tho. You have also other ways to deal with this: the use of Pixel Streaming (see documentation from Epic).
Nice. I can setup this up like when I only hit a collision box? Like my player moves around a map, then when I am near an object this will pop up? thank you
I think that it's perfectly doable. I think you will have to switch from your player to the camera pawn of the template, and spawn the blueprints that are related to the camera.
I want to use this but would like to package it for mobile app. Would this be doable for them to be able to download the app from the android and apple app store?
If you want to do this, you will need to be developer on the store you want to publish and then you'll have to publish. I'm not able to answer this question as I never published an app on a store, but what I can say is that you can export an iOS or android app from unreal and then use it as you wish.
Hello, what are the best ways and formats to use in order to deliver this on web for a client? Seems like html is not supported anymore and all that stuff
Well, it is not integrated by default anymore, but if you go to the GitHub, you will find files to integrate it. You can still go back to a previous version of Unreal if you want to use HTML5. Also, you got another solution which is called "Pixel Streaming" that could work. I would advice to take a look at the Epic documentation to know more about Pixel Streaming.
What if I have thousands of products? Is there a way to let the user choose which to open from its own database? Or do I need to pack them all with the final product?
There is a database where you can change the objects and materials. Everything is explained in a written documentation that you get when buying the project 😉
You can deliver a .exe file payable with his own computer or you can try Pixel Streaming. Your customer will be able to get access to the app through a website. (Take a look at the Unreal documentation for Pixel Streaming)
Yes I guess you could but you will have to adapt the camera functions to make it work for touch inputs. I currently haven’t done it yet but I plan to do it for the next releases.

Is it possible to upload a product configurator made in Unreal Engine on a website? (HTML)?

Im interested in! How many models can be upload on this project? Is it possibile to create a selection list?
You can import as many as you want. At the moment, there is no selection list. You access to them by buttons like shown on the video. Not a list.

Great! can this be implemented via shopify store? thx
Hi realy nice product , is this compatible with touch input (ipad) ?
Hello, yes it is. You have a parameter to switch from Mouse input to Touch input inside the blueprint.

Well I would say that you need extra work and you'll need to have Unreal reading an external database but I'm not sure how you could do it.
Ok, I make a configurator for my customer but I can no put on his/her website ?? Epic must to work seriously on that area.
Hello
Is it possibile to upload online a working configurator made with unreal engine?
How?
Thank you
Not without pixel streaming and that is expensive.
Helô dear great work , Ita possível tô implement in a exist project? How can i add New assets do show toguether
