Motherwell 1 - Rangers 5 - May 1999 - Goram Can't Stop Amato Hat-trick

Gabriel Amato scored three times as Rangers destroyed Motherwell 5-1 at Fir Park. Amato and Giovanni van Bronckhorst gave Rangers a half-time lead and despite Andy Goram keeping the score down in the second half they ran out easy winners. Amato raced past three players to score before completing his hat-trick from the penalty spot. Andrei Kanchelskis made the score five-nil but Motherwell grabbed a consolation goal when Lee McCulloch deflected in a Steven Nicholas shot.

Probably one of the coolest men ever to wear the light blue, a pity we did not see more of Amato.
