Those cards in the deck tech certainly are some card, that get used in the games! Especially the big ones which may or may not be there if this is an aggro deck! XD I found the intro funny, have a good holiday CGB, enjoy!
Man, I love how these quick video decks have shaken up standard. I’m playing against more of a variety now. Thank you! UB control is also great against most of them so win win lol
44:22 Don't worry, I enjoyed it! :) I think I've commented before that I like seeing the "bad experiences" now and then because it makes me feel that I'm not being singled out when I have such bad experiences.
Appreciate all the videos about different decks in the meta. Helps me understand my opponents decks better and I’ve been able to take a Selesnya Enchantments deck to Platinum 2. Diamond coming soon!
Honestly that control player was pretty bad overall. Not trying to be mean or anything, but it just goes to show the state of control right now. Makes bad play after bad play but it didn't even matter. Exactly why more than half the people I face are control decks lately.
I really hope CGB follows up on that and we get an Azorious Artifacts video in the next few days. That deck is sick. And would fit CGB's style exceptionally well.
I'm pretty sure Argordon was playing on mobile, judging by how long it took them to assign each individual attacker. Maybe they had a bad connection, and maybe they were a fan who really wanted to play well. Still, they did play very slowly and it is very frustrating
That first match is the perfect simulacrum of what it's like playing against mono red and boros players... no thought or attempt to think through their actions. "Put creatures on field. Put more creatures on field. Attack. Win! Wait, why no win? Wtf? I concede."
I've played with players like argordon IRL like during prerelease. So annoying when I only get 1 game in while the rest of the room got to play best of 3 is so depressing. Like it shouldn't take that long to decide to play one of the two cards in your hand.
It's absolutely infuriating and incredibly rude on their part. I am gonna assume they didn't have like, an actual excusable disability or something. Or were brand new. Or 6 years old.
Because those dead creatures were left with 1 toughness remaining after damage, but with Edgar Markov dying all of those vampires' toughness were reduced by 1 and so they died anyways. Remember that marked damage remains until the end step, so if something loses an anthem/indestructible it will die from marked damage.
Feel like I need to defend Argordon. His deck was good, sure he played a little slow, but he played within the timers and it's not like we haven't seen CGB take long turns. I think CGB was just extra salty for losing to a better deck.
I love watching you get salty about long turns when in fact you're a habitual long-turn-taker. They say people don't like others who are too much like themselves. 😂😂😂😂
the difference being, cgb takes long turns when there are multiple paths he can take and he talks them out. that guy had literally 1 or 2 cards in hand and likely literally only a single play that made any sense at all and still took 1000 years. players like that are braindead.
@@logan-870Precisely, and I’ll add that he goes through the motions with us, usually going step by step so his thought process is clear. I’m almost certain he plays faster when he’s not making a video, or streaming. Also, ArGordon was mighty slow, fucking snail’s pace really. To the point where one may wonder if it is deliberate.
unless you made a typo on the timestamp, nothing got played during combat CGB is familiar with the pace of the client and dragged Takenuma out to drop it into play fluidly just as the turn progressed into second main phase since nothing was holding priority for either player
I wanted vampires deck to be good, but theyre mediocre at best. Believe me im a big fan of vampires i tried many combinations. The fact is, you cannot make "theme" deck, you must add other cards to be decent. If you try vampires only, it sucks...
Argordon might have been a bot. I've seen it in other games where they use a simple deck that takes ages to play and use an insane amount of time for every step just to get you to quit. I've ran in a higher amount of such players this week.
"Argordon I hate you" - genuineness and sincerity are qualities I value in content creators.
Argordon is the reason we need a version of Arena with shorter timers.
The fact that I’m watching on 1.25x speed and they’re still going insanely slow…
Argordon sounds like a brand of a graphing calculator.

The Simulacron deck is so good that a person can win by taking every possible wrong decision
Maybe Argordon let his lil bro play and was explaining the deck on the go 😂
Honestly that would be believable considering that simulacrum artifact deck takes zero brain power to use lol. You may be on to something sir.

I liked the part when the deck did what it was supposed to and made the opponent lose all their lifes
That part was insane ngl.
"Today we play best of one.....THIS IS STANDARD"
I love a good intro.
The skill that it requires for someone to be at their PC during a whole match of magic is insane
