Do you know anything about the “obsession” Lou Pearlman had with Germany? I didn’t know he debuted *NSYNC in Germany. That’s so random. I have the assumption that he also tried to do that with another group, US5, years later but failed. They were HUGE for a couple of years in Germany but only one of the members was actually German. It seems strange to start out in a smaller music market.

    • @jaygriffperiod85

Europe was a friendlier market for boybands in the mid 90s (Take That and Boyzone were smashing), while the only groups that did well in the US were Boyz II Men. That, and the producers being in Germany was why they were sent to Europe.

As Flashy told in the video - Europe was more boyband-friendly. Germany maybe because BSB did fine here first, so it happened good place to start? Maybe because of kinda central european localization in terms of touring? Few years later another, the last Pearlman group US5 also started in Germany, but they never got bigger to conquer UK, US and spread worldwide. Pearlman went to jail when they were on their peak and that was beginning of the end of this group. Funny fact Nsync few times played as support of nobody know Just 5 - our polish rather only one boyband act of these times. They supported them during few concerts in Poland. History shown Just 5 became polish one-hit-wonders, Nsync worldwide phenomenon.

And I wonder if you can do things like him making his videos? Just… NOT JUST talk about the album itself, maybe also talk about the background of the music industry or something? I don’t know, I don’t know how to describe it. I just wanna see someone explain Pop/EDM history, culture, music the way he does it in his videos
Early 2010's American Pop music is MY FAVORITE, so I would also LOVE to listen to the history of that or something like that. I didn't start to listen to American Pop music until February 2016, when the time that this era is almost finish. So… yeah, i would love to know more about those things.

BSB - Worldwide Album Sales ---- 130 Million.
...literally no comparison. But, they still want to make one! NSYNC and BSB sound NOTHING alike. NSYNC had to use auto-tune to get their hits.. BSB doesn't auto-tune their music. BSB has NEVER left their roots... NSYNC changes their music, to sound like whatever is playing on the radio.
(for instance) .. the new song, NSYNC is releasing, sounds like autotuned trash. No actual singing.. no harmony.. just trash. There's a reason BSB is still standing strong, with their millions of fans! ... and I know you know why that is! #KTBSPA !!!
