Step 2: 00:54 - Remove Stabilizer Bar and Intakes
Step 3: 02:45 - Remove Heat Shields
Step 4: 03:53 - Remove Exhaust Manifold Nuts
Step 5: 07:03 - Unhook Upper O2 Sensors (AFR sensors)
Step 6: 07:40 - Jack Up Car and Remove Knuckle From Steering Rack
Step 7: 08:25 - Disconnect Cats or Test Pipes from Y-Pipe
Step 8: 09:57 - Removing The Steering Knuckle From Steering Rack (Revisited for emphasis)
Step 9: 11:37 - Swap O2 Sensors from Original Pipes To New Pipes
Step 10: 12:24 - Extend Upper O2 Sensors
Step 11: 13:52 - Put Header Gaskets On Studs Between Engine Block and Headers
Step 12: 14:40 - Tighten Header Nuts Down

Which is the correct upper o2 expression for a 2019 370Z? I have Isr y pipe and long tube headers waiting to install but I don’t know which is the correct o2 extension I need

I took my car to a shop to get headers put on and they messed up the alignment with the steering column.. what should i do to fix it help !!
go back tot he shop and tell them its not right and needs to be fixed, any reputable shop will own up to that small mistake
A lot of people report that they get 02 sensor CELs on after installing these headers. Did you have that happen?
not on this car, not sure if they are installing them incorrectly or if they got a defective header

Just watch that part of the video its nothin too special just different combinations of extentions short and longs sockets and open ended wrenches.

I want to get long tube headers but I am wondering if you get the check engine light on and if you can still pass emission test?
the headers have the exteneded bungs so it wont throw a light, you'll have to check with your state if it'll pass or not

So how old was your z when you done this. Mine is 10 years old....just did catback. Rusted bolts but they came off....just wondering how durable those header studs are on a 10 year old car. Hate to break one off.....

@@salvobrothers5928 I unfortunately bought isr longtube headers, super excited. The only thing that's holding me back is the o2 sensor extension. I've seen three videos including yours having a type 1 o2 sensor. You think I have the same o2 sensor as yours?
@@HectorGonzalez-fi7me i woudn't guess, id pull the sensor and double check the plug, nothing worse then having the wrong parts

We're you able to clear the check engine light after install I added non faulers and still had the code.

you can definitely reuse them if they don't get torn in the process

All the extensions were back ordered when I did my install I just used crimp connectors and heat shrink data logs look great

it should, it mounts up to the stock location after the test pipes

it has some drone but its not terrible
do you think they will get in the way when doing transmisson work later on? you know how the clutch master likes to go out in them
of course you dont have as much access now but its not impossible

As far as types go what Ive found is that most years for the 370z have a type 1 and so does my 2010 but you can check for yourself by scrolling down on the link given it has instructions on how to check.
