not gonna lie, some of the reviews doesnt even feel like valid criticism, because they dont even focus on whats important, dont have the same kind of background experience with the games, or just say that "its lego idk" or have arguments like "I dont like that the cinematics dont have the characters I chose" (why the fuck would you complain about that it just doesnt make sense). and the dc supervillains part was an intense pain to watch but thats besides the point. cool video that I can feel it took a lot of effort, and its very cool that you pulled off such a project but I was expecting something different.
As someone who grew up with these games, I just love the dedication of some of these reviews even when I agree or disagree with them, such a good video
For a while I've been on a personal mission to 100% every Lego game, currently close to finishing Jurassic World. Best ones so far are definitely Clone Wars, Pirates, and either LotR or Indiana Jones 1. And although it wasn't included here, I did play Lego City Undercover which was pretty good.

Yes, I agree. Like some of them didn't actually play the goddamn games in full and while I agree with the overall opinion anyway, its only their opinion because they didn't actually give the game a full playthrough or chance. Lego games are shitty, repetitive, and mediocre at most, but if you actually play the games, you can get enjoyment out of the ip, the unique spins on said ips, and sometimes the gameplay is unique from game to game.

The DC Supervillains review was absolutely painful to watch, shouting repeated obscenities isn't funny nor does it tell me anything about the game. Other review segments were less painful, but quite a few felt like the presenters didn't really have any enthusiasm - the Harry Potter one particularly stood out in this regard as being very low energy

Man I've got so many good memories of Lego Star Wars 3, and it has a level based of Rookies, one of the best episodes of early Clone Wars. Overall though, love the video.

If you are going to make a review as masive as this at least try yo maintain the quality in all the segments, you have someone that analyses all the aspects from jurassic world, and then you have someone that only says i don't like harry potter so harry potter game bad.
So unlike most people, I feel like I was the only one who really did enjoy The Lego Movie Videogame. Everything from gameplay mechanics, to unique levels, to the voice acting, to it’s underrated soundtrack (except Everything is Awesome because honestly FUCK THAT ABOMINATION) It’s definitely my favorite Lego game I’ve played and got 100% on so far.
To be honest these reviews just don’t feel right if many of these people had only really played the Lego Star Wars games of the 21 century. The games have EVOLVED for better and for worse yes but a lot of the stuff that did worked in the last are brought over to the skywalker saga game and I don’t want to get awfully worried it’ll scare off players because at the end they’re pretty cool games
LEGO Star Wars III is very underrated! I appreciate it even more now than I did as a kid, since it's the only Clone Wars game that's worth sinking hours into (Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels for Wii was decent, too). My only gripe is that some of the levels miss the point of their respective episodes. The Hidden Enemy, for example, omits the titular hidden enemy, Slick, to focus entirely on the Ventress B-plot. Innocents of Ryloth ignores the Twilek girl Numa, who was the heart of the episode and could totally crawl through short doors if added to the game. Hostage Crisis should've been way more fun, but it only follows the first few minutes of the episode and ends before it gets compelling. Mandalore's omission was also a baffling choice, since The Mandalore Plot in particular is a two-character episode that introduces popular Mandalorians--perfect for co-op and minifig collecting. But hey, gotta love the Zillo Beast being the final boss! I'd have it no other way.
Hell the newer games don't either. It terms of this gameplay style, literally only the Lego Movie games were all Lego, because that's what the original material was. Everything else usually limited Lego constructs to intractable stuff
the fact that the 3DS version of Lego Star Wars TFA is *exactly the fucking same* as the regular version (being graphics and framerate the only downgrade) really says a lot more than it should

Idk it was funny the first few sentences but by the end of the segment it was getting really annoying hearing cock so many times. lego marvel superheroes was my favourite lego game, i used to play the campaign with my brother, unlock tons of characters, and spend HOURS driving around in cars or slinging webs and crawling on walls, just using my imagination. its just epic

I'm glad to see someone else appreciating the awesome level creator in Indiana Jones 2. Was so cool, I still remember one of the levels I made. There was a boulder rolling down a track and you had to complete a bunch of objectives and platforming before the boulder reached the end.
44:44 yeah no, Lego city undercover introduced the concept of collecting bricks to use to build structures And other Lego games changed the minikits, Indiana Jones gets chests, Jurassic world gets crates of fossils, and dimensions gets whatever the brand is based off of woo boy (but if it makes you feel better the dc comics and Lego movie level has the traditional minikits)

I Personally played a lot of Lego’s games on the 3DS and a had very different experience on the 3DS version of Batman 2 theres no vehicle missions instead they get replaced with different missions, just new cutscenes or even plot points. it’s interesting hearing things like “Open World” lego games since I never really played a open world lego game

If you're open to some constructive critisism, I honestly thought that like 50% of the VAs here were really poor, ESPECIALLY Chekhov. I believe that it was Rich Evans who introduced me to the idea of "Non-medy", which is being so unfunny that it makes you less happy. Some of these guys were very much Non-medy specialists. IMO, they weren't all bad. Some of them were pretty good, especially Eyezayar. Hats off to him for being very good!
Videos like this are legit, since one list by the same person would probably drag....but with this each person has their time to shine and be their funniest
As someone who did so a bit ago, I would suggest stocking up on Steam wallet currency and waiting for a big sale. These usually drop the games down to 5 - 10$ a piece.
I think my personal favorites are Lego City Undercover (and to a much less extend the prequel on the 3ds. Also the fact this video is missing this particular game is rather odd since its an important part of the franchise) and Indiana Jones 2. Which ive realized overtime that along with the Lego Star Wars trilogy. Form this sortive trifecta of ways in which i thiink the Skywalker Saga for better or for worse was turned into.

So unlike most people, I feel like I was the only one who really did enjoy The Lego Movie Videogame. Everything from gameplay mechanics, to unique levels, to the voice acting, to it’s underrated soundtrack (except Everything is Awesome because honestly FUCK THAT ABOMINATION) It’s definitely my favorite Lego game I’ve played and got 100% on so far.

LEGO Star Wars III is very underrated! I appreciate it even more now than I did as a kid, since it's the only Clone Wars game that's worth sinking hours into (Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels for Wii was decent, too). My only gripe is that some of the levels miss the point of their respective episodes. The Hidden Enemy, for example, omits the titular hidden enemy, Slick, to focus entirely on the Ventress B-plot. Innocents of Ryloth ignores the Twilek girl Numa, who was the heart of the episode and could totally crawl through short doors if added to the game. Hostage Crisis should've been way more fun, but it only follows the first few minutes of the episode and ends before it gets compelling.
Mandalore's omission was also a baffling choice, since The Mandalore Plot in particular is a two-character episode that introduces popular Mandalorians--perfect for co-op and minifig collecting. But hey, gotta love the Zillo Beast being the final boss! I'd have it no other way.
Putting this on in the background while playing the Skywalker Saga. A good way to spend my saturday evening :D

Hell the newer games don't either. It terms of this gameplay style, literally only the Lego Movie games were all Lego, because that's what the original material was. Everything else usually limited Lego constructs to intractable stuff

lego marvel superheroes was my favourite lego game, i used to play the campaign with my brother, unlock tons of characters, and spend HOURS driving around in cars or slinging webs and crawling on walls, just using my imagination. its just epic

I'm glad to see someone else appreciating the awesome level creator in Indiana Jones 2. Was so cool, I still remember one of the levels I made. There was a boulder rolling down a track and you had to complete a bunch of objectives and platforming before the boulder reached the end.

Nowhere did I say that the Hobbit was the "first time" they changed the minikit design. I merely said that the Star Wars one is clearly the most recognizable and all others are just feeble mimics.

Lego Star Wars - My Opinion - BEST Lego Game to this day hands down.
My Opinion on the Review - Pretty good, some of the complaints were weird, like the game not taking the story serious? It's a child's lego game lol and the whole "character I'm using not appearing in the cutscene" seems like a weird thing to be upset about but overall pretty good review.
Lego Indiana Jones - My Opinion - Eh, I got bored of it as a kid and never went back to it.

I Personally played a lot of Lego’s games on the 3DS and a had very different experience on the 3DS version of Batman 2 theres no vehicle missions instead they get replaced with different missions, just new cutscenes or even plot points. it’s interesting hearing things like “Open World” lego games since I never really played a open world lego game
Conclusion: Play lego games on a console or with a controller on PC.

If you're open to some constructive critisism, I honestly thought that like 50% of the VAs here were really poor, ESPECIALLY Chekhov.
I believe that it was Rich Evans who introduced me to the idea of "Non-medy", which is being so unfunny that it makes you less happy. Some of these guys were very much Non-medy specialists.
IMO, they weren't all bad. Some of them were pretty good, especially Eyezayar. Hats off to him for being very good!

As someone who did so a bit ago, I would suggest stocking up on Steam wallet currency and waiting for a big sale. These usually drop the games down to 5 - 10$ a piece.

I think my personal favorites are Lego City Undercover (and to a much less extend the prequel on the 3ds. Also the fact this video is missing this particular game is rather odd since its an important part of the franchise) and Indiana Jones 2. Which ive realized overtime that along with the Lego Star Wars trilogy. Form this sortive trifecta of ways in which i thiink the Skywalker Saga for better or for worse was turned into.
