Apart from Alice and how the whole blood queen thing went, and a couple of really minor details, yeah it was pretty damn close, I especially enjoyed how they did Hellboy in Mexico, and the Wild Hunt event itself

Just alil nitpicking Hellboy gets the gun from the Torch in the movie's mytho's only, he has no special gun the comics even though he does use a hand cannon in a few of the early stories he stops using them after "Wake the Devil" when his Zinco manufactured gun explodes in his hand and he angerly declares no more guns and he needs something with no moving parts.

Walks downstairs to dust off my library edition cause I think your right, *10 mins later* yup your right in Brooms death scene (knows thats not how it's spelled but not looking that up) It's never called the Samaritan till the movie though, I belive it's meant to be implied that he used several hand cannons til Wake, cause in Wolves of St. August, Kate asks about it and he implies that it's a more modren gun considering she's known him no less then 6 years a that point I'd assume it's not the same gun from Seed.

This guy didnt know anything about Hellboy because he didnt pronounce any name right except Hellboy. He didnt even say his REAL name right!!! Which is sad because people act like they know stuff without understanding WHY we love the character
