I hate the voice for the OJ, but I think this is one of the best villain monologues ever.
Really though, I think it's more than just Lovecraft, it represents the perfect synthesis of traditional religious evil with cosmic horror.

This is what you call an antagonist battle done right.
For everyone who got confused: Ogru Jahad is the big bad in Hellboy comics starting from first issue. It is the seven headed dragon that was created by rebel angels in the beginning of the universe. It is chained beyond the void but can reach out to unique minds and manipulate them. All of Hellboy's arc was a big struggle between Hellboy and bad wizards etc. who were controlled by The Dragon. It has been prophisized many times tha The Dragon and Hellboy will fight in the end and that'll bring--
Not by rebel angels but by Amun, one of the great spirits, Ogru Jahad is a failure creation of Amun, Amun bound the dragon and then got the right arm chopped off by other spirits to make sure the Dragon can never escape thus created the Right hand of Doom, maybe go back to your basement and read entire Omnibus of Hellboy again
This story is so great. We want more story of hellboy like this.

Seeing it in motion, it occurs to me that I'd love to play a video game with art designs by Mignola, assuming it could accurately replicate his style. The stark colors and deep shadows would look great in a cel-shaded gothic adventure game.
There is one that does mostly. only its not a very good game. I'm not gonna lie I was super disappointed by how it turned out, but if you wanna give it a shot it's called hellboy: the science of evil. I only found it on xbox 360 but it could be on more. Good luck

I was worried when this series started, but each episode is better than the last.
i love motion comics...and i love dark horse comics...and i love that i finally found someone who combines those two...awesome work. wish my videos would be animated that awesome :-(
Hellboy is son of a prince of hell and a human witch, and destined to rule hell.In Wild Hunt he learns from Morgan Le Fay that he is a descendant of Arthur from his mother side, a lineage of british witches all the way to Mordered(Arthur's evil bastard). He finds excalibur and all the noble dead of Britain(mostly knights) rise to form his armyto fight against Nimue's army. But he decides against using excalibur. He gives the sword to the irish girl andsays her to throw it on a lake.
(Continued)-- the Armageddon. Now you're watching that fight. Former witch queen is tricked into slavery, so witches brought back Nimue who was touched by the dragon. Nimue gathered an army of remnants of magical beings and waged war against humanity. Because of prior events (mostly Rasputin's doing) dragon was awake and its cell was cracked so it could leak to the soul of Nimue. Nimue slowly became an avatar of the dragon, as close to being free as it can get without actually being free.
I feel confused but I hope it sinks in. Love the series!
Ah, I'm going with this. Dragon talk is less confusing after rewatching, but I agree with Hellboy at 4:00.

it would be cool if they did a hellboy in hell motion comic also it would have been great if they got Ron Perlman as Hellboy's voice but this guy is doing a good job so far so am ok with it.

You know what I want to see Dark Horse Comics do? Animate the comic series of 'The Guild' which explains the back stories of the characters and all that.
Why? Because I'm cheap and don't buy anything.. but I still want to read it! xD

Man. And I thought the intro in episode 1 was confusing...
I have no idea who any of these people are or why I should care about them. Coming in at the end of the series was an awful decision.
