    Wrenchin' ain't always fun, it ain't always easy... but it's a skillset that is ALWAYS in demand. Great job Dad, teaching your son such valuable lessons that you learned the hard way!

    The experience of teaching someone something and gaining much respect is worth the struggles we go through in the end. Nice job guys!

    Good to see more of Everett. It would be good for the channel if he can be a main character. Also good for his self confidence.

    It' great to get someone that young on the spanners. I learnt to drive a few weeks after my 13th birthday. get good the first time and you will often stay that way. With working on cars the true moment of joy is when she fires up and you then drive off in it. It's a gift and a skill that can hold you in good stead for your life time. As you may know I am now semi retired and I rebuild Motorcycles as a hobby. Your doing a great job, keep going the result will be better then you can know....

    One thing about mechanican is the ability to get your hands in spots they don't want to go lol , you know you're doing a good job when you have blood all over and a nice new scar on your hand lol . I'm a big guy and always hated working on cars so I decided to work on big equipment instead , never lost a single 10mm socket my whole career but totally destroyed my back , knew I should of been a doctor lol 😆😆 Good job Everest , You can learn a lot from Mark !!

    I haven't worked on a Front wheel drive for some time, but when I did I believe it would have been easier to drop the engine and transaxle as a whole

    • @MountainMapleRanch
      @MountainMapleRanch  5 дней назад +3

      A lot of front dive car have a “cradle” and is much easier to drop the cradle with engine and trans connected and then separate. This Car is AWD and is a fully framed vehicle so it made more sense to separate them in the engine bay and lift it out.

    You should buy one of those inexpensive 500# lever chainfall hoists. You could have used it hanging from a fork to precisely raise/lower that engine to go in easier.

    My Dad spit on my hand. Of course we were tired and I was about to have a sledge hammer crash onto my hand. Yes, I moved my hand and was greatful we laughed it off. ❤❤👩‍🦳
