Yes! It starts with acknowledgment! Acknowledging to your abuser that you now REALIZE what they have done to you, it will no longer be accepted & you are taking your power back! Oh yes it changes things. Also I prayed about it & God handled things. I don’t know EVERYTHING He did behind the scenes but the tables have definitely turned.

i’m sorry to hear that sis 💔 i was telling my therapist im scarred for life and i would encourage you to view your trauma the same way.. as a scar which was previously a wound but now it’s healed and better .. and yea you can see there was damage there but the skin is actually much stronger and thicker and better than before .. it may not look like it but internally it is stronger and that’s how you are too 🫶🏾
