I’m an intensive care unit nurse with a master’s degree in administration and education role in PR, this is my life but with a kid…. Single mom, very proud of being in healthcare ❤ love seeing nurse bloggers
so proud of you!!

@@dajaliina275girl shut up 😂😂
Well I've taken the exams for the second time now and still didn't succeed, i wonder how those who succeeded did it🥺😭
You will pass Every one has their own season, just keep going pray and believe you will receive
Shout out to all the nurses and people on the medical field!
I’m a hairdresser and will bend over backwards for my doctor and nurse clients. They are truly some of my favorite people to take care of.
The CNA exam is very difficult to pass, I can't believe i failed after studying with so many materials😞
Sometimes it doesn't matter how hard you study you also need to pray to God for success
@ very correct
I have a cousin who never studied much, we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than her studies after writing the cna exam last month she passed and i failed😢, i asked her how she did it, just found out she got help from Mr Richard 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🫢🫢🫢🫢🫢
Please does anyone know who this Mr Richard is? I really need to speak with him I'm frustrated 🥺
Wow so sorry you failed, i have heard so much about Richard but I don't actually have his info
Hi Lorena! i am 14 and determined to become a nurse and your nurse blogs always excites me and your videos really teach me what it's like for a nurse day in life. I recently have been accepted into a Health science P-Tech Academy which basically is a academy based school that prepairs you into the real world into the medical field and joining this is a huge step for me in becoming a future nurse!
Proud of you! You will be a great nurse
Don't forget to be a kid. Otherwise it is fantastic to be career oriented early in life! Good luck in your program!
Love seeing LTC nurses!!!
I’m an RN supervisor at a LTC/post acute facility and girl this job is not for the weak!! Thank you for sharing, us LTC nurses go unnoticed sometimes!❤❤
I just passed my CCMA certification test and this just made me so motivated to continue learning 💪 on the road to nursing school!!
yes keep pushing!!
AHHH I LOVE YOUR SPARKLY STEERING WHEEL!!
as a current nursing student (just started in august) i am SO excited to work as an RN !! honestly its so rewarding and satisfying
Hi Lorena!
I'm so happy there are nurses in Florida!! & I love watching your videos since I'm studying to be a nurse!
thats so cool! :)
i watch your videos and become so motivated that I can't describe ! youre doing amazing girl and seeing you help me to have the goal of being a nurse in the america💓following u from Iran 🇮🇷
New sub! I start upper division classes next semester and am so exited for this journey. Your videos only make me more excited and determined
I love seeing nursing vlogs!! It gets me so excited and focused on what I want. I go away this summer for my first year of college to do my pre-reqs
love this vlog! I work a lot of long shifts at my job too.
Loved this video. Hope you're able to do more like it soon!
I sure will!
Hi! I’m Tiffany me and my sister in law are both starting LPN school in the fall of 2024 and we’ve been studying for TEAS and were both extremely motivated and excited about it 😊❤ you’re videos are really inspiring. Thank you!
of course beautiful!! you are going to make a great nurse💕
Omg congratulations on being a fiance🥹❤️!
You are so pretty and motivational! I want to do pediatric nursing when I get older and this is so cool :)
Those scrubs are so cute !!!
Haven't seen your channel in awhile. Congrats on moving up with your job. I hope you discuss about that smoking schedule with your supervisor. It's really disgusting seeing that posted for staff at a hospital on the wall. Smoking causes lung cancer.
New sub! I’m an old head.. been an LPN since 2009.. spent my career in the Psych ER.. so that kind of nursing is very very different. I have left the profession temporarily.. I just lost my passion when I went into management.. you realize the business aspect of healthcare and it is ugly. I am planning to change routes and head into nutrition.
I graduated in December 2009!
I enjoyed this❤
❤❤❤ This motivated me to keep going as a nursing student
no dont do it unless if you want to be a zombie
@@simplytine2939 ?????? I’ll be a zombie???
Love your channel ! Just found your videos , I have been in healthcare for like 5 years but it’s been in the path and cytology lab and then unit secretary and front desk at a dr office . Never been hands on but being an LPN has been on my mind for months now and so I’m thinking of doing LPn however I’m not the best at math so that’s the thing that terrifies me lol
Don’t let that stop you. In the age of technology, there is AI to better explain concepts to you. Good luck. 🙏🏾
@@Damnnntee thank you !!! I know ugh I've been studying for the teas for like 2 months lmao the math
New here, loving your video so far. Question, do you find it easier to wear gloves when prepping the insulin? I'm almost graduating as a nurse and I'm curious! I find it harder! Thanks ❤
16 hours is wild. HOW do you do it?! my shifts are 10 hours and that's more than long enough
How’s it called the little night light you use for sleep? I’ve been trying to find a good one and I liked the color and the dots on your ceiling and walls
it is the bliss skylight, you can get it on Amazon!
Interesting video... keep up the good work 👍
Hi Lorena! What program are you using?? We use PCC at our facility. I am the Activity Director AND Central Supply so I’m familiar with what you’re talking about! I’m new & glad I stumbled onto your channel!,
I'm sorry if you said that anywhere but like.. how many days after such shift do you have free? Does the second 8 hours replace a whole workday? Or is this just theoretical and the next day(s) are normal?
I pass all the medication in the building I work at and I only had one week of training but you are a nurse and have 2-4 years of training and doing the same thing that's crazy.i feel like they should have nurses give out all the medications in big facilities tho cause I know how to hand people the medications but that's about it
I’m staring a Hr certification soon but I was interested in nursing. Do you know a good course to take first?
you look like venus vafa from survivor 46!! ur so pretty ^^
Hi Lorena, I'm a newbie subscriber and I'm thrilled to come across your channel. Congratulations 🎉😆❤!!
that's a lot of patients.. is that normal?
i swearrr i was shookth my name is elaizah nicole regalado and im a nurse too 😂
ahhhhh no way🥹🥹
Thank you so much for sharing ❤
Have an entrance test in few days for nursing too🙃
how exciting!!! you’re going to do great!
@@LorenaNicolhey ❤ how did you study for the teas/hesi test ?
You're really pretty!
Hi can u explain how shifts work please ? I never heard of a 16hr one 😮 I mainly hear 3x12s or 4x10s and are 5x8s more common on clinics than hospitals? 🤔
Here in the state of Florida there are 8, 12 or 16 hour shifts (at least to the facilities I have been too). So a 16 hour shift is known as a double because it’s two 8 hour shifts back to back
I loved the video 😍 only thing that bothered me was how you guys are allowed to work with long nails and rings and bracelets and stuff. Never seen here in Germany
thank you!!! I work at a rehabilitation facility which has very different rules than the hospital, allowing me to wear more jewelry! and my ring is an engagement ring so regardless I would be allowed to wear it 🫶🏼
I also worked in a rehab facility and the rules are the same as hospital long nails are not allowed short nails were fine and no heavy jewelry just wedding ring and watch. Using your personal phone is a big NO NO especially recording videos Cleveland Clinic won't have that.
@@mrsrodriguez7683same here at the hospital I work in no long nails and no personal phone on the floors so I don’t know what kind of nursing she does at 20 she might just be a tech idk cuz people be making these vids saying they nurses and doctors and they be lying at the same damn time man
How do you work 16 hour shifts. I’m currently part time & can’t imagine. Is it just twice a week or more often ?
hi! I used to ask myself the same question. I usually do 3-4 doubles a week with 2 single shifts in between. it can get exhausting but we have goals to accomplish!
I really want to become a nurse when im older. Im still in secondary school rn do you have any tips for studying or researching or anything?? Love your vids 🩷
Thats a great goal! I just got into nursing school. If I could rewind and start at your age I would make sure to really focus in the math and science classes. Also, as soon as you are old enough, start taking your prerequisite courses at a community college (anatomy and physiology, biology, chemistry, etc.). You might even be able to take them while you are in high school (sometimes called dual enrollment). You can even research colleges in your area and see what prerequisites they require. Until then, enjoy your youth! There will be plenty of time to study and work when you are older. :)
@@alliew2419 Omg congrats on getting into nursing school!!🫶🏻🫶🏻 And thanks for the advice i struggle sm with science sometimes so i think I’ll be alright once i study it more
@@mimxyz0 Thank you!! Don't worry, I struggled with science and math soooo much in middle school and high school. You will learn good study habits as you go through college and you will do great. Keep chasing your dreams!
@@alliew2419 yeahhhhh maths and science are super confusing but once you get it you get it tbh. tysm for the advice i rlyy appreciate it and ive started to look into courses i can go into after i finish my GCSES🫶🏻🫶🏻
The biggest tip I can give you is to start your nursing career in high school just like I did!! Do some research of LPN dual enrollment courses that your nearby colleges offer and start there! that was you’ll get a glimpse of what it is like and it’s easier/faster to get your RN once you finish highscool💕💕
how accurate is greys anatomy to your job?
Woahhh you’re 20 🤩!! I’m 20 and I just started my fourth semester and broke down crying 😂
oh no 😭😭 it gets better I promise, just keep your head up and stay positive!
You just gained a subscriber!🤍 I always look for nursing videos where there's a lot of detail and steps/tasks shown. Thank you lol!!
hi love, welcome to the fam! It makes me so happy to hear that🥹 I’ll be uploading a week in my life which includes what a typical week looks like for me so stay in tune!
Hi love this content i see we do the same work and i love it. Can be so tiring after 3 days. I see you have a very different insulin system then us. The Netherlands we have 2 step system. 1 how much insulin 2 flip the pen. We have a sort of pen with insulin in it. Turn the pen to how much insulin than give it to the patient.
Pens are widely used here too. 95% of the time what we use is dictated by insurance
❤❤
Very good

Lorena i want to study nurse ......in which country i can study with low budget because i have limit in money and im 30 years old
this is so random but what are the lights u have in your room from
they are from Amazon, just search “bliss skylight” !
Where is your grey crewneck from? 😍
At some point the background music and her talk match and it feels like she is singing a rap song😁♥️
can u tell me if studying was hard or working?
Working
I feel like the music is too loud, maybe try lowering it when you start talking
Agreed! At one point at 1308 I thought an alarm was going off in my apartment. The tone in the music sounds like an alarm. But still an interesting video.
Tip: Turn down the background music please. I can barely hear your voice. Otherwise, nice video
30 Patients? I'm wondering how stressful the charting will be
it’s divided by shifts but yes on busy days it is stressful 😭
which country
I'm Rahmat from Pakistan and student of nursing (BSN) wanted to job in other country sweet sister guide me about visa process please
Lovely dear 😊😅😅😅🎉🎉😂❤❤❤
if you ask for liquid sugar you won't need extra
hey hun! maybe next time just lower the volume of the music because it was a little hard to hear your voice. great video tho!!
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾💕💟💗
honestly you're so freaking cute
It takes a lot of effort in making videos its not 1 day effoort . Keep it up
Jesus loves you.
Hello Lorena. Great video. I can’t help but start out by saying your an extremely beautiful girl. Lots of talent. You are way underpaid for your job. Your cheating yourself. You should consider working in northern Ca. The highest paid RNs in the country. Did you know that RNs in northern Ca earn 130 an hr? 195 OT and 260 plus double time? Average pay is 300k a year base pay with pension. 500-600k with OT. The key is knowing what hospital to work at and in what area. I hate seeing such a young beautiful and talented RN like yourself being under paid. I can point you in the right direction. Stop working for low wages. Come get what you deserve. If you need help I will show you where to apply and the best places to live. I am a mentor and coach. All the best to you.
Thank you for this video ❤ John 3:16 says: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” If you place your faith in Jesus, He will forgive you of your sins and you will be saved from hell and you will be given eternal life. Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life. The Bible is Gods word to us. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in the Bible are the gospels of Jesus and His teachings on how to follow Him. Jesus is coming soon. Repent of your sins and follow Jesus. God bless you! 💕
why do you wear such long socks
they are compression stockings so they help with circulation when working long hours!
You can wear pretty nails and jewellry?? Jealous !!
I'm a uni student in my first year and I was actually so scared to do blood sugar tests for my diabetic patients but it turned out not to be as bad as I imagined. I still need to learn lots of things🥲
