That's a BF player Bias the characters are fine as long as they are put into a class system

yeah heroes aren’t great but at least the gunplay looks decent. 2042 gunplay was such a step back compared to bfv
I used to love and play Battlefield games back when people didnt have the mindset of run around and shoot. People used to play as a squad and push as a team. We used to flank enemies and get them pin down, and now, everyone is everywhere. Lol I thought about playing Squad (i have Arma 3 but it was just for ATL when it was popular) for a very long time, an just a few days ago, i finally bought it and it was the best choice. (One thing that i dont like is the new weapon sway and recoil, i hear about. It does move a little too much, what am I? A whimp. Lol)
Abilities too strong? You know what games didn't have abilities like every other shooter today?

Everytime I see this game I get all excited but then I remember that the game is free, which most likely means cheaters and P2W. Then I also remember that it has specialists with game breaking abilities...

The Alpha that was happening this week got delayed. I guess we now need to wait a little bit longer before we get to play it. Shame. Hopefully the wait won't be too long.

@@chargedx5768 No, the developers of the combat did. They took a series that never wanted a change to a series where they embrace every other shooter by recreating them. At least the original series didn't have to compete with the games they were inspired by. Using game modes as a crutch is pretty laughable since they will probably throw those in as well. Let's see how long it'll take to get celebrity skins in the game too.

If they're going to do abilities, at least make them gadgets you can equip for certain classes.
Get rid of specialists and abilities, and this would be as solid as it can be, real contender for old-school BF.

That will never happen the characters add variety and ways to sell skins and add future characters for it's live service model... It's F2P pal

you would think with low recoil everybody should be on a balanced level which means it's majorly a issue of skill not recoil. blueberries need to learn to pay attention and increase their awareness...not stand around on the open
The abilities don't seem to be overpowered but working toghether as a team it will be benificial...

How does the attachment unlock system work? Is it the usual every gun has a billion levels to go through? Or similar to CoD with the attachments being spread out across all the weapons?
👌Despite the amazing weapon customization options 👌 the gameplay is boring ( as it was in COD and of course here too but we have some BF moments and this make it less boring ) just strafe and shoot as fast as you can - everytime works in this game .

Hey I watch you westie, tactical brit, Benny Central, geeky, jaff, phixate. But I have to be completely honest this game that you're playing is going to add microtransactions not only to skins. Put also to an in-game currency. They're going to end up making it pay to win because you're going to have to buy the attachments with in-game currency. So they'll definitely make that transactionable

what's funny is this will probably do ok but its 100% clone to bf2042, i swear i thought this was literally an add on at first. so if bf2042 failed so miserably why would this be so much better? its same problems big open maps where vehicles will rule, specialists with dumb abilities and some will be super overpowered

Tarkov has TTK varying between 0 seconds and minutes, thats not good either.
They should make armor more consistent - i mean make it cover whole torso and consistently reduce damage. With penetration chances and etc. its so random that armor doesn't make any sense.
that is how armour works in real life..lmfao..it is random and inconsistent due to various environmental factors

Are there actual bots in multiplayer? That’d be one thing that wouldn’t sit well with me. Think pve games would just be a better experience at that point lol.

Go ask a game developer the intricacies of HOW they did it... For me I'm not blind I played all the other BF and I can tell when I see parts of game's that came b4... Start of the game that batllion cry BF1, sniping from BF4.. If can't see the similarities with battlefield 2042 I really can't help you... Gunplay straight up COD 😂

It's the game. I'm a COD player and this doesn't bother me. Every game shouldn't be the same. Adapt to their way of doing things or go play COD.

Or just give feedback, you know? Currently the game does not have a "personality" if you ask me. It is neither fish nor fowl. It will not be "realistic" (read: complex) enough for EFT Fans and it is too complicated for DMZ Casuals (like me). 3/10 on the EFT Scale describes it well: reduce complexity a little more. currently there are five tiers of armor in my stash. and 5 tiers of ammo, for every ammo type. there are five tiers of armor repair items, 5 tiers of helmet repair items, a blue repair item will only repair my purple vest for about 15 points. Finding a purple one in the game world is basically impossible (I have played about 18 hours now and have found 1)...
Also: revive timer is stupid, enemy teams do just camp your body and the game is over.

Some weapons are futuristic but i would like to give this game a try Battlefield 4 is the best goat among all Battlefield game it's a perfect description of Modern Warfare no power ups everything is man to man combat with modern Vehicles i hope the new up coming Battlefield is set to be modern

Your comments about having realistic military operator skins over crazy skins makes sense for Mil Sims, however this game isn't a Mil Sim. It's aiming to be in the same arcade like area COD is, while giving us the large gameplay of BF and the loot shooter of Tarkov, but for a wider audience. I certainly wouldn't buy a battle pass for COD or this if the weapons and operators didn't look good or have special effects or looks. Why would I waste money on a plain looking operator that could've included in the game already? If it was for Insurgency, Hell Let Loose and Tarkov I'd be OK with it as they're Mil Sim and having a operator with flames coming off them wouldn't make sense, gameplay wise or aesthetically. COD and this is made to have that fun stuff.
Just because it is trying to be in the same lane as COD/BF, that doesn't mean it needs to have goofy aesthetics. Almost all arcade shooters are doing over the top cosmetics and hero abilities, so why does this have to be just another copy of those games? They've already copied a lot from the previously named franchises. This studio needs to start setting itself apart.
I can ask the same question you asked about plain operators: Why would I waste money on a goofy looking operator that they could've included in the game already?
All many people want is for a somewhat grounded aesthetic with fun gameplay - aka OG COD/BF games.
@Dutch3z don't buy the more over the top stuff. Problem solved. It's called choice. COD has plenty of realistic skins to buy and they have fun skins. Everyone doesn't want a bland operator. The more fun skins wouldn't be in the game from the start because they take time to make over the regular looking skins.
@@APieceOfLiquidthat "choice" just ruins the vibe for the rest of the players. It's an absolute clown show seeing goofy ahh skins on every military shooter lol. It's okay to have somewhat of a serious tone for some games, even the arcade ones.
Either way, it'll probably end up being a clown show anyway since it's a free to play game from China.

Sniping - still OP - ffs why dont they make sniping like it is in real life. you need time to take the shot, allow for wind etc. - gamer snipers would not last 2 minutes on a battlefield with those" skills" they THINK they have picked up!
