Problem is those who worked for DICE international who made BF3 BF4 no longer work there . 2nd problem is alot of COD developers went to DICE . The good old days are over . This game has potential but far from being on BF4s level

A game in the Hero Shooter genre came out about 10 years ago and became very popular. As a result, companies spent 5+ years developing similar games. But now that these games are being released, people are tired of the genre. It feels like we're always playing ideas that were conceived 5 to 10 years ago.
This is what happens when gaming publishers steer hard into profiteering instead of trying to release something fun / unique first and foremost. Corporate interests have destroyed gaming.
Delta Force is a blessing because that means Dice need to put out a finished product for the first time ever. Remember EA charges 60$ for Battlefield even when its broken on release which it have been since bf3

It was something unique and different from the norm which was a breath of fresh air. If EA wasn't greedy and asked for $40 instead of $60 then it probably would've been received a lot better.
how is this game SICK but BF2042 was not? it's BF2042 remastered and BF2042 is still getting end of service updates. this is video is literally showcasing Haven and Lis being cut and pasted into Delta Force but most people hated Haven and even more people hated the specialists. make it make sense.

Honestly I think destruction and map complexity is what hurt FPS over the years. When games were more static and simple laned maps it was better. Think BF2 days. This I think is why Cod was successful for a bit there, their 3 lane map concept carried it.

@@prestige934 It's not so much the gameplay feel, it's the immersion. People in games like this would rather feel like being a grunt in the cog of the machine then someone that is a special operator. If they made operators unlockable as you play, that would be more interesting beyond the basic combat kit your class already fulfills.
"no pay to win" but there will definitely be "pay to get more attachments faster" with the whole weapon upgrade tokens which may not be too bad depending how they handle it.
i've just played like 6 hours over the week and i have enough tokens to level up any weapon i want without restriction, so i dont think it should be a problem
@@pu239 well in the playtest they are going to want people to experience and test all the objects. wouldn't make sense to have them locked behind the full time progression. Final game will most definitely be slower.
@@JudgeConviction i dont have much reason to believe that, the events through which you earn these tokens feel quite naturally spaced - small award daily missions and larger weekly/events. also the dept. missions in the extraction mode give good rewards. maybe it will be slightly slower but they have enough guns and enough levels on each one to not reach a saturation point where everyone has maxed out guns
thats been one of my biggest issues is the head glitching. that and i think we could use more vehicles and vehicle variety. the vehicles in the game seem like an after thought compared to BF. Lastly with new maps i feel like we could use some more destruction
Yeah, everytime the enemy captures an objective or zone, the imposter sound is played. It sounds funny. I can never unhear it now, it's forever branded as 'the sus sound'.
They said "No pay to win", but so did the Arena breakout devs... and oh boy look at that! WE GOT PAY TO WIN! I would not trust these devs neither. They are both Tencent's dev teams and what tencent wants? MTX on every single game, no matter what.
ABI Devs were purposely vague when they said they wouldn't. Most people didnt believe them based on what they said.. delta force devs were much more specific with their wording. I think they will stick to their word but it's fair to be weary.

They carefully watched Dices fails with 2042, and they made the same, but without the mistakes. When they tweak a bit and balance the weapons and get rid of bots, it might become big.

Ahh bro I completely feel that last bit you mentioned. I started playing insurgency sandstorm it was $20! And it’s refreshing to play something different. I’m excited to try Delta Force hopefully beta is for console too
how about instead of complaining on youtube go and give them the feedback the game is still in alpha almost beta stage so theres still alot of time for them to make the changes needed.
We are in the honeymoon phase with everyone singing the praises but give it time and a full release with ALL real players and people will for sure start to complain. It happens all the damn time.

I FINALLY got a chance to play this game today after getting excited watching a few of Stod & the boys' streams and now Jack's video. I think this game is absolutely banging. I'm a 'lifelong' COD and BF fan and only dabbled in DMZ, but this has been great today. It's absolutely bonkers that the Alpha of a F2P game is genuinely in a better state than how BF2042 released. Unlike some of the other recent F2P launches, I think this game genuinely has a future if they can produce more maps of similar quality and develop the extraction mode for longevity. DICE better bring their AAA-game or they're never getting a foot back in the door is all I'm saying! ...get yourself in a few games of Tactical Turmoil for a video/stream with Stod & Westie when your head has stopped spinning Jack! 🙂

@@NobbsAndVagene keep on hating, it's really good for your mental health :) you have not played df even though you might claim to in further replies, so it is hard to explain to you. also, there are no major "glitches", i only know of 1 related to revival in the extraction mode, the camera takes a few extra seconds to go to your pov. you need to realize, "copying and pasting" is not a thing - they would need to recreate assets at the very least, because of how different the game engines are. moreover, i dont mind them recreating map design from bf or weapon design from cod - those franchises have become pretty good at it so why do you want df to reinvent the wheel? in any case what, what delta force does is integrate all these things very very well - which is why the gunplay feels really good and a lot of aspects seem to be thought-out, give it a try. my favorite weapons are the aug, the k416 and the mp5. it's not a barebones game by any stretch and is flush with small qol features, especially in the extraction mode
Less destruction, more weapon customisation which is a good and a bad thing, worse specialist, prob have worst cosmetics and monetisation, less vehicles, less of a sandbox gameplay and less bugs
its bet6ter than 2042 and it has a good extraction game mode its like Tarkov but better basically what DMZ should have been and its still in alpha so a lot more tuff will be added to the modes and of course more game modes.
"there was a guy behind me" Story of my fucking life in this game, busy wrecking people in one direction and the 8 teammates behind me ignore all the other doorways. Or you know, reviving teammates, like ever.

They disguise the classes of a mix of old bf classes with newer bfv classes and "operators" kind of like how recon has a split between pathfinder in bfv and something else..

Indeed. It's trying to copy BF 2042, which is fine I guess. But people have been saying it's way better, but how? It's basically the same, except full of the kinds of glitches and bugs you'd expect from an alpha. Also everyone was mad at DICE for including specialists, which is fair enough. But why aren't they dishing out the same criticism when it comes to Deltafield? The only thing this game does better than 2042 right now is that it's free.
@@NobbsAndVagene i believe you have not played the game. there were more bugs in mw3 and bf2042 at launch than this in it's alpha. i seriously have not encountered a bug i remember. also, people expected battlefield operators to work like they always have: in classes. delta force is a not related to bf so it doesn't make sense to expect the same thing? people do complain about the hero system but it hasn't been too bad, it's just gadgets that different classes have.
They say "no pay to win" but that might be referring to the conquest mode. The Tactical Turmoil (the Tarkov mode) has "premium items" in it. Hopefully it will be just the safecontainers and stuff which seems it might be a subscription model.
i find it weird that they already have season 3 content but theres currently no air vehicles in the game. That tells me what theyre really focused on are battlepasses and mtx sales
I've been able to edit the loadouts before this update. Haven't played since the update. You just click on the weapon. I also didn't notice if you clicked on the numbers above the guns. Those are different preset loadouts also that very in weapons

Bf1 was a very stable game at launch. Only the DLC was a bit slow

The BF vehicles are great but for me the infantry combat is so much more fun.

Before the next BF comes out, play thos game a couple times a week to keep number high and no on pre-order. EA only understands numbers.

Delta Force has the same issues 2042 had at launch with their class systems. Also... Sliding for 1 operator? Common.
how about instead of complaining on youtube go and give them the feedback the game is still in alpha almost beta stage so theres still alot of time for them to make the changes needed.

I managed to get a key and this game is so awesome, used to play BF before and DMZ and this game delivers better experiences than both BF2042 and DMZ 😍

I FINALLY got a chance to play this game today after getting excited watching a few of Stod & the boys' streams and now Jack's video. I think this game is absolutely banging.
I'm a 'lifelong' COD and BF fan and only dabbled in DMZ, but this has been great today. It's absolutely bonkers that the Alpha of a F2P game is genuinely in a better state than how BF2042 released. Unlike some of the other recent F2P launches, I think this game genuinely has a future if they can produce more maps of similar quality and develop the extraction mode for longevity.
DICE better bring their AAA-game or they're never getting a foot back in the door is all I'm saying!

It'll almost definitely improve in the future. But it's getting a lot of praise for doing the exact same things that BF 2042 did, yet BF 2042 gets nothing but criticism. you have not played df even though you might claim to in further replies, so it is hard to explain to you. also, there are no major "glitches", i only know of 1 related to revival in the extraction mode, the camera takes a few extra seconds to go to your pov.
you need to realize, "copying and pasting" is not a thing - they would need to recreate assets at the very least, because of how different the game engines are.
moreover, i dont mind them recreating map design from bf or weapon design from cod - those franchises have become pretty good at it so why do you want df to reinvent the wheel?
in any case what, what delta force does is integrate all these things very very well - which is why the gunplay feels really good and a lot of aspects seem to be thought-out, give it a try. my favorite weapons are the aug, the k416 and the mp5. it's not a barebones game by any stretch and is flush with small qol features, especially in the extraction mode

Less destruction, more weapon customisation which is a good and a bad thing, worse specialist, prob have worst cosmetics and monetisation, less vehicles, less of a sandbox gameplay and less bugs

its bet6ter than 2042 and it has a good extraction game mode its like Tarkov but better basically what DMZ should have been and its still in alpha so a lot more tuff will be added to the modes and of course more game modes.
It's a lot better than 2042, and I didn't hate 2042. Basically the same game except a lot of quality of life changes and less abusable operators.

I was balls deep into 2042 and ignored the warning signs, getting burnt by dice again. BF is my favorite franchise and watching your videos has been a major part of that.

No classes , no care :( I know it sounds closed minded but 2042 just ruined it for me. If none of these games have classes I'll gladly keep playing BF1 and BFV
They disguise the classes of a mix of old bf classes with newer bfv classes and "operators" kind of like how recon has a split between pathfinder in bfv and something else..
But all we really want is rush mode. Make it happen Jack

@@cristopher8186i don't remember exactly. It was when eleven labs gained popularity and it was a sponsored video. He basically fed the AI the script he had gotten from the sponsor. Not many people caught on, I think he wanted to see if he gets away with it. He did not disclose it.

Indeed. It's trying to copy BF 2042, which is fine I guess. But people have been saying it's way better, but how? It's basically the same, except full of the kinds of glitches and bugs you'd expect from an alpha. Also everyone was mad at DICE for including specialists, which is fair enough. But why aren't they dishing out the same criticism when it comes to Deltafield?
The only thing this game does better than 2042 right now is that it's free.
@@NobbsAndVagene i believe you have not played the game. there were more bugs in mw3 and bf2042 at launch than this in it's alpha. i seriously have not encountered a bug i remember.
also, people expected battlefield operators to work like they always have: in classes. delta force is a not related to bf so it doesn't make sense to expect the same thing? people do complain about the hero system but it hasn't been too bad, it's just gadgets that different classes have.
i still much prefer the movement and guns in BF
To be honest, this conquest mode just looks and feels like a re-mastered version of Battlefield 2. Which isn't a bad thing by definition

I've always had a hard time getting into Battlefield games, this game got me hooked instantly.
People are playing through the games launcher mainly, that's where the first invites were sent out, the steam stats are not all.

I played this last Saturday finally with some old Battlefield friends..it was pretty fun!
Gunplay looks good, the soundscape, great. All in all yeah looks like it's gonna be a banger.
Really hyped for this game, DICE has actual competition and has to actually put a product worth something together.

My worst experience for internet wifi was at a business conference last year. The speed tests I ran were in the kb/s range.
They say "no pay to win" but that might be referring to the conquest mode. The Tactical Turmoil (the Tarkov mode) has "premium items" in it. Hopefully it will be just the safecontainers and stuff which seems it might be a subscription model.
i find it weird that they already have season 3 content but theres currently no air vehicles in the game. That tells me what theyre really focused on are battlepasses and mtx sales

I've been able to edit the loadouts before this update. Haven't played since the update. You just click on the weapon. I also didn't notice if you clicked on the numbers above the guns. Those are different preset loadouts also that very in weapons
This will be my main game when it releases. Enjoying every moment of the Alpha.
