And banishes for everything. Banishes would be especially good on lvl ups/shop & artifacts because you would likely use them every playthrough, meaning you will burn through your resources regularly. As for which resources to use for which reroll/banish, I would vote to have specific resources for specific upgrades & artifacts. That way if you typically dismiss certain upgrades, you'll need to gather more of that.
An artifact based on meta mats gathered in run would be cool. When you have them all, they are obstacles to be avoided, rather than part of your path to move through. I think having a reason to pick them up on purpose would be cool.
Maxed out stats and this game looks sooo easy now.. they need to implement hazards 6, 7, 8, 9,10 etc that scales in difficulty. It would make this game more competitive to see who could do the highest hazard lvl.
In addition to the ores you also need credits for the meta upgrades. You get more credits for higher difficulty and completed runs. So I would advise to run on the highest difficulty that you can safely beat and do full runs there (maybe even with the foreman driller, so you have an easier time mining the meta ores)
@@idlecub interesting,I always wondered how the credits worked, if it was something to do with total ores mined or just stages completed. Thanks for the advice
@@jollus526 Well, it also accounts for total ores mined. There are a few factors going into it, but the most impactful ones that you can also actively influence easily are difficulty and doing full runs.
Kind of hard to say, some I like more now than others, but had a ton of fun with others in the past. It changes a bit over time. Top5, no specific order: DRGS, Brotato, Rogue Genesia, Halls of Torment, NIMRODS (depends a bit on what the full version will add but it has the potential)
They could make re-rolls for overclocks use meta resources. :)

You could use meta resources to mod your character... make him look different, different armors and such
Different weapon effects

Great video. The fire drones can also get an overclock that makes them leave a trail of fire on the ground

The Trogdor build.
Burninating the underdark.
They should add some sort of consumable with meta resources, a pre-start booster of some sort, even if it's more pickup, or movement speed
I d love to see some runs without the meta upgrades to make things more exciting to watch!
So much burn-y goodness!
Or you can buy something when you go to a dive, like guaranteed a magnet on eash stage or something. Or a x2 multiplier for that run maybe
Maybe the meta resources could be used to bypass rng and predefine the loot. Could be interesting
It would be nice if you could choose to sell the extra meta-resources you pick up in the shop for gold
Cant get enough of your DRGS videos! to max meta progression is it best to do low level hazard and just farm the ores?

Just curious, what is your favorite one of these types of games?

Not gonna lie, I feel like scanners ruin the game. Always a must pick to push the limits. I thing the devs should rethink how it is implemented
