I think this is a really really good sign! Unlike paid games they seem to actually care about first impressions! They understand how difficult it is to get gamers to come back to a game after you’ve lost them! I’m really excited TBH

agreed we need to get companies to stop releasing half finished games for full price then have them done 1 or 2 years later then selling us a dlc for 40$ would rather wait for the full game in working condition.

The maps definitely look old school battlefield style. You can outflank an entire squad, and one man can change the game.
I presume they don't want a Grey Zone Warfare issue.

This is fantastic news, polar opposite of what the gaming industry has been doing for years now. Developers that are proud of the work they do and want to provide their future community with the best game they can.
Legit though, with the "hero characters" abilities and vehicles this would be the perfect base for a Star Wars mod....
The wall hack and sonic paralysis abilities definitely seem like they are too intrusive. I think they need to tone down how often they can be used.

Bro I preordered it for 100 and played it 2 days and was absolutely pissed. Never again!!!! Battlefield has lost their way and it’s sad.

Aso i think it would be good if the game had a "FEW" killstreaks. Maybe everyone gets the same thing. Like if you get 10 kills in a row then you get a heavy duty sentry gun & a Remote explosive RC car. And every player only has that ability/killstreak once per game!

Kinda wish ammo and reloading is similar to Battlebit, Insurgency Sandstorm, or Ready or Not. Loving the gunplay is closer to CoD, do not like zero recoil gunplay especially on larger maps.

I think at start, the left hand blocking part the red-dot sight on the M4 is a bit distracting. Would the hand placement change if you change attachments?
Yes it would, I've seen gameplay where you're grip and barrel affects how you hold the guns, i like the fact that how you hold the guns actually make sense

I hate how much the alpha was drowned out by streamers. But I respect the studio for not releasing a game like cyberpunk, fallout 76, starfield, or 2042. But I agree I think this game is polished. I wouldn’t mind playing this game in beta form like palworld stated when it came to console. Let me play the game, give me a roadmap, and tell us when it’s out of beta. Keep supporting the game unlike cod did with DMZ, and keep hackers out of the game unlike Tarkov. Simple.
How many of us said we would have been happy if Battlefield 2042 had taken an extra year to work on the things that needed to be done to make it a more complete game.. No one in here or no one looking forward to this game should be complaining or crying like a baby. Be happy that this company recognizes things that they want to polish in tweak to make it better. This company seems to be taking the right steps.

The game looks polished, specially for an alpha open test. To me it sounds like they have some issue they don't want to share, and are publicly saying this to look good. They have probably not gotten in time the server hardware needed for the ridiculous amount of players that are going to play the moment this gets open.

CODs whole gimmick is grinding cammos. I can only grind camos so long! Theres like 200+camos with a new one every week & i think we all basically use the same ones.
