Some of the voice lines are pretty bad looking back at it but Rorke was awesome. Also Hesh looked the coolest and the space missions were pretty cool even though it was pretty far fetched
In My opinion cod ghost was one of the best campaigns I’ve ever played and I’ve played a lot of Call of Dutys but this one is just so good every year I come back to it
I think COD Ghost's campaigning failings came from a combination of issues. 1) The story wasn't great, it started out sounding cool about the fictional Special Forces team known as Ghost (good Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon didn't sue Activision). But then it slowly devolved into a manhunt with a bunch of filler missions. The manhunt aspect is what kills it for me, I thought we were going to be a guerrilla special forces unit surviving in a warzone, every operation we pull is conducted with shoestring budgets, and the gameplay, and missions are going to be designed around aspects of Guerrilla Warfare, indirectly affecting the enemies and sapping the morales, cohesion, and resources of a larger force. 2) The villain is also another let down for me and this one is a big deal. In previous COD, we had historical bad guys like the Nazis for WW2 settings, the Vietcong in the Vietnam War, or fictional ones like OpFor, Ultranationalists of Zakhaev and Makarov. The bad guys at least fit the settings and had their leaders given something of personal motivations that naturally formed. Namely, Zakhaev wanted to restore the Soviet Union, Makarov wanted the Russian Empire back, and more. In the case of Ghost, Rorke was just some traitor who got brainwashed. The concept sounds like something of a supporting villain you take down in the middle of the game. Not to mention how everything seems to play out in Rorke's favor, ranging from him surviving gunshot wounds, survived drowning, and able to kidnap one of the protagonists. That seems like a giant cop-out and the writers were probably trying too hard to make a sequel before their current one works well. The Federation is also not characterized in any way shape or form for the settings. Their leader hates America and that's it. I can't wrap my heads around what makes him hate America. Their rise to power is also contrived around just having Venezuelan oil and then somehow all of South America band together to invade the US. Even Cordis Die of Raul Menendez has a fleshed out rise to power. 3) The gameplay for the campaign is also another problem. I think it still falls back on those run-n-gun set pieces way too often. The game doesn't feel like it gives off the feeling of being a special forces unit that relies on stealth, guerrilla tactics and operations to achieve their successes. Ghost's campaign should have been designed like All Ghillie Up and One Shot One Kill from COD4 but with the added benefits of Black Ops 2 sandbox approach so that you play as a Ghost have more freedom to your actions and how to achieve a linear set of objectives. Overall: They should have made it like Red Dawn 1984. If they want to keep the invaded USA settings, they would need to cut the whole WMD plot and reshape the entire campaign to be about the Ghosts' struggle behind enemy lines. Their job is to be the stay-behind force, they sap the Federation's armies, morales, resources and capping off leaderships, command chains to disrupt the Federation's invasion plans for a specific sector of the frontline. Like say the overall plot is the Ghosts trying to stall or divert an entire Army Group of the Federation away from the frontline, their operations start to panic the Feds leadership. This leads to the changing command structure and villains. The villain started out as simple troops led by some colonels or generals at the rear, guarding occupied territories, rear-echelon duties like protecting logistics. But then the Ghosts start to degrade them so badly, the Feds began to deploy their own Special Forces to the area with a better commanding officer. That's when the campaign has you finding out if you have been infiltrated by a spy, fighting off enemies who are as capable of ambushing you, so on so forth. Your unit also began to lose members for every major victories you made. Maybe culminating into a do-or-die final showdown.
I remember the scene in Las Vegas when Rorke captures us, i kept looking for a scope glint on the building with the cranes behind us, hoping that Keegan qould save us so Elias would be okay...
It's so funny that I've serached deep in the web for cod Ghost. Then contacted youtubers and now everyone is talking about it after they said it was trash. Vanguard was just the straw that broke the camels back. Ghost has the most beautiful customization. In private match it allows you to creative hundreds of gameplay styles. NO ONE HAS TALKED ABOUT THAT. Ive discovered it while experimenting with the game which is why im still able to enjoy it. This basically gives me creative mode you just have to set it up. Extinction has its own completely different story with twists and turns which something cod needs for a refresh.
This was my first, and favorite CoD next to BO2. People always hated it, but I always loved it. I wish it got a sequel, but looking at the newer Call of Duties, I'm not sure I want one anymore.
Bro I recently got the game this month and I fucking love it the campaign was fantastic and I loved Logan. I do hope COD makes a sequel tho it seems unlikely.
@@BranWolfyt honestly the I fucking love Keegan, Merrick, Elias, Hesh and Logan. To think my boy Logan was 16 a literal kid when the Odin strikes happened. I loved the brotherly love and relationship between Hesh and Logan it’s so touching. Growing up, I never had a console. But I did have cousins who had Xbox’s and PS’s. Being around them, my first COD game I saw and play was Black Ops II. It was nice, but after coming on yt and just being addicted to watching COD Campaigns, I came across COD Ghost. Literally caught my breath instantly. The campaign IS one of the best in COD, and I was devastated asl once I heard that it wasn’t going to be continued due to its sales and “Bad Reviews”??? COD Ghost will go down as one of the best COD Campaigns in history and I hope they choose to bring this sequel back. I need to know what happens after that cliffhanger.
8:15 craziest thing is that that Elias doesn’t even let go Roke genuinely becomes too heavy for him to hold up and slips out of his hand 23:49 I also love how Logan’s legs just don’t fucking work at all like he couldn’t kick roles hand and how come gets as practically a vegetable now
the Most Underrated COD Game i think is Finally Being Shown in your Channel( i got more Milkshake to Drink and You Uploading Life is Good :) Edit: i actually forgot the Ghosts Storyline so seeing the Ending Again Surprised me AGAIN
Hi, sorry to ask so directly, but have you ever thought about making a video about the Koschei complex? ( in dmz , of course i know that there isn't that much story but i think it might be a cool idea )
just finished it, i’m so disappointed that there’s no second game where you maybe play as hesh against logan or you safe logan in the beginning and play the final mission with logan to end it completely but to leave an cliffhanger open and just to forget about it is very disappointing
Cod ghost is my favorite cod to I grew up playing the black ops games but I loved the campaign of ghosts but my problem is they never finished it sadly. I liked what they did instead of zombies
Honestly this game needs a complete rewrite. First things first we need to know what the federation wants and how they came to power and why America hasn’t butted in yet. I’ve always had this idea that most cod games are connected in some ways and I’m fairly certain that Raul Menéndez’s death is canon in BO2. I imagine that after his death he was immortalized as a martyr and gave rise to other organizations and groups to rise up and unite i.e. The Federation, which explains general Almagro’s disdain for Americans and the West
Also the game needs to slow down the pacing a lot especially in the early missions. We need more stealth and we need to feel like we are the only ones who can take down the federation since America cannot. Missions like Hunted and Clockwork were awesome and I wish we had more of those sequences. Third: Gabriel Rorke should be portrayed as a more selfless character not a hellbent one who is willing to jeopardize his entire mission and team’s lives for a simple bounty. At least give a reason as to why General Almagro is such a bitter rival to him without completely rehashing Woods and Menendez’s dynamic
And for the love of god you cannot have a compelling story and arc about brotherhood and teamwork with a silent protagonist. Logan needs to have a voice and he needs to feel real. Give us another Simon Riley at the very least. The whole story just forced the family stuff into it without actually setting the pieces and building moments between the two protagonists
And finally the ending needs to be addressed, i don’t care how much torture you have endured, no human is withstanding a .44 magnum bullet at point blank range even in the distant future with better protection, also how was rorke able to hold his breath for so long with no doubt a collapsed lung and while bleeding profusely? I honestly hate almost everything about Rorke. If he’s going to be a ghost killer he needs to be elusive and mysterious, a supernatural legend who can kill the supernatural. Give him a badass name like El Tormento (Spanish for the storm as a nod to his brutal tactics and torture methods, but also his ruthless efficiency). Change his design, swap out the durag for a full face covering and make him adorn federation uniforms just to rub in the wound with salt a little more
Underrated game. In my opinion, this game did not deserve the hate it got. Although the MP had some issues, it was still a great MP experience especially as the games life went on. The problem with this game was that it came out right after black ops 2 & at the same time as the ps4 & Xbox one released.
BO2 is by far my favorite title in the series but Ghosts is easily a close second for me. Controversial take but I really liked the multiplayer in this game. I honestly think if that multiplayer came out now a lot of people would praise it as one of the best.
Even though it may not be considered the “best” COD, to me it’s my favorite. I played it the most out of any cod and the campaign is arguably the best. It’s tied with BO2. Logan Walker is top 3 best cod protagonists of all time
I hate how people hated the multiplayer and the extinction gamemodes, like they didn't even look at the positives of those two and just said "no zombies only aliens? This game sucks"
The gta verse: the foundation of the federation roots back to when South America was very involved in world war 2. In this universe, Argentina does actually join the axis and Argentina aids fascist Chileans and the Germans and the under the radar Draka aid their axis allies. And this allowed Chile to cause another war on the pacific type war and the southern country of Aquila and a royal country of westarctica aid against the axis. And grande Peru stood strong and survived. This allowed the rise of the Andean community. A third party that is more in tone with the Monroe doctrine than the USA or Brazil. Keeping American states for Americans. Not ruled or influenced by foreign powers. It took itself very seriously when solis turned into an authoritarian ally of Draka. This angered Brazil and by extent the USA. And this allowed Peru to become an important player as well as Aquila to stop the Draka influence of the Americas. However the Cold War ended and the Draka are no longer a world power. This caused some instability as its warmongering caused debt and wealth inequality that Peru was on the cusp of civil war and Aquila was already suffering from economic collapse that even perus civil war extended beyond Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela. The Tel Aviv war caused the USA to involve itself in that country over protecting South America and China swept aiding the rebels and some opposition who resist the Andean community. This allowed a new order in Peru and the Andes to rise. The federation of South America. That ghosts federation. A rogue nation backed by China. And Aquila is reduced to an independent nation. Only used as a trading hub for China as well as the USA and Japan. But they compete to influence Aquila. And by extension the federation. However the corporations and national question of sovereignty create tension between the Aquila and the federation. Thus the federation war. But it’s set in 2025 instead of 2017.
Perhaps the Odin strike in 2017 was more targeting towards the Chelonian country of Lingor. Where the Aquilan military base is at. They were targeting an overseas army base. The former home of the Walker family. Aquilans of Hispanic American descent. This caused the destruction of Espidel city. Lingor surrendered to the federation and the Aquilans left Lingor in fear of Odin being used against the country. Aquila must militarize and Militech took opportunity to arm Aquila and this in turn had its rival Arasaka to arm the free states and certain cities like Night City. They claim that the attack was vengeance for the Caracas insurgency in 2015 in which the general Almagro died but the army itself stay strong in morale despite the death of its important army elite member. Aid the rebels and Aquila will face destruction from its Odin orbital military satellite. 🛰️ This Odin strike killed the walker siblings mother and this pushed Elias and his kids to rejoin and join the army. It took until 2025 when July 4, Federation send a message to the whole world for peace and stability. When in reality. It’s by the orders of Apex corporation from China to start the invasion. And also have Apex to aid the citizens there. And then use high national debt as an excuse to occupy the country.
Ghosts was my favorite, i remember the old days playing split screen on a 15hertz tv🤣. The good old days. This game did not deserve this hate. I am going to need a sequel or a remastered with an sequel combined.
Some of the writing is corny. It’s a pretty unrealistic campaign. But, it’s like a really good action movie. The world building is really good of it as well. I love seeing the minor family drama, and then a whole ass war too. On land, and out of the planet. Getting to see the heroics of the tank battalion, and the space crews was underrated. I personally think that tank mission is one of the best missions in CoD history. It felt like such a desperate act and it was.
The closest to a ghosts 2 game would be a true reboot. My gta verses ghosts story: Elias tells his sons Logan and Hesh. And a third child: an adopted child who can be whoever the player wants it to be. This third child would be the silent protagonist. Speaking when necessary. Speaking customized background. It’s decided by the player. But the beginning of the story would be with the family being together. Their mother included. But then the Odin satellite targets the major cities of the fictional country of Aquila. Based on the continental United States. But in a much worst state and nations lore from cyberpunk 2020. More info will come soon.
I know I’m in a minority here. But I have never enjoyed the normal COD games. But I really loved the story and gameplay of Infinite Warfare and Ghosts. They just scratched all the right itches for me.
I think the game is ok for the most part, i would think a remake of this game would be great. For example: the story is okay, imo but It could use some work, and i hope logan actually talks. Multiplayers maps are too big for me, and there should be more unique maps instead of rehashes of old maps. Finally. Extinction is fantastic because it's not another zombie mode, but It's actually trying something new. Unfortunately, there are a few problems that are holding it back. 1. It's very linear and not replayable. 2. The teeth upgrades are very unbalanced. After picking all of them, you would become unstoppable. 3. Some things in the armory are either to weak or very overpowered for example: The armor supplies are op it would take all of the damage, which is great, but the relic that would make cryptids do more damage only affects health and not armour.
I also have a bunch of COD Ghosts related videos releasing in the next two weeks!
What I predict:
1. Extinction. Story/gameplay
2. Private match (The Ai/modes)
3. How Logan and Rorke get brainwashed like Mason which could make for an insane story continuation.
4. Multiplayer (Unique perk system/ killstreak) Support is actually not that bad in this game.

If this ever got a sequel that follows the original story then I would gladly play call of duty again
I remember the scene in Las Vegas when Rorke captures us, i kept looking for a scope glint on the building with the cranes behind us, hoping that Keegan qould save us so Elias would be okay...
You never felt alone in the campaign because of the team and the brothers and of course Riley
It was so damn good honestly... it felt like a badass proper campaign
@@BranWolfyt honestly the I fucking love Keegan, Merrick, Elias, Hesh and Logan. To think my boy Logan was 16 a literal kid when the Odin strikes happened. I loved the brotherly love and relationship between Hesh and Logan it’s so touching. If I could further Logan’s character I would make him a caring guy who wants to do good but can be ruthless if the need calls for it.
@kpat5655 definitely merrick was a stand out for me I liked him a lot he was no nonsense badass
i always hope that a sequel will come out, the ending left me in shambles. i played this game all the time when i was a kid
My favorite game growing up. they called me by my name from day one I was hook
The next ghost story should be Hesh trying to rescue Logan from Rorke
And than they should kill off Hesh and have Logan kill Rorke
"Escape from modern return to Ghost." Quoted by a random dude.
Idk why, but with Ghost theme song, it hits hard. Good slogan. Hire me.
this was my childhood game and even tho i had multiple (probably better) COD games, its always gonna be my favorite!
That’s the calmmest shit son I have ever heard
8:15 craziest thing is that that Elias doesn’t even let go Roke genuinely becomes too heavy for him to hold up and slips out of his hand 23:49 I also love how Logan’s legs just don’t fucking work at all like he couldn’t kick roles hand and how come gets as practically a vegetable now
Remember when i first played this with my older brother. Underrated game tbh
the Most Underrated COD Game i think is Finally Being Shown in your Channel( i got more Milkshake to Drink and You Uploading Life is Good :)
Edit: i actually forgot the Ghosts Storyline so seeing the Ending Again Surprised me AGAIN
Hi, sorry to ask so directly, but have you ever thought about making a video about the Koschei complex?
( in dmz , of course i know that there isn't that much story but i think it might be a cool idea )
Yeah im thinking about getting to as much as i can lore wise within all of Call of Duty.
My Bro and i had endless nights on Alien Mode! I was undefeated in Squad Ai mode! The Campaign is Spectacularly Gorgeous!!!
Cod ghosts is my favorite cod game because i like the campaign and multiplayer
just finished it, i’m so disappointed that there’s no second game where you maybe play as hesh against logan or you safe logan in the beginning and play the final mission with logan to end it completely but to leave an cliffhanger open and just to forget about it is very disappointing
bro the honey badger was goated
I’ve been waiting for a pt2 for CID Ghost to this day
This was a great story. Shame it didn’t get a sequel.
Glad the dog is safe
The story is more important than multiplayer
I made some really good friends while playing infected on ghost about 6-7 years ago is in my top 5 of my fav cod of all time
This needs a remaster
I love this game this was my first or second cod
12:07 that wasn't in the amazon jungle, was in Yucatan, México
I love cod ghost & I have 2 copy's 1 for Xbox 360 & 1 for Wii U
we need a Ghosts 2 so bad! so much story potential left behind
Cod ghost is my favorite cod to I grew up playing the black ops games but I loved the campaign of ghosts but my problem is they never finished it sadly. I liked what they did instead of zombies
This game had the sickest storyline
i cant find that cutscene of logan being tortured in the jungle anywhere else.. is this included in the game?
I’m always asking myself, how do they survive such a thing like explosion right next to them, or falling down with the train.😂
I agree I'm actually editing a video right now talking about it's failures due to bo2 and the releases of the console generation
BO2 is by far my favorite title in the series but Ghosts is easily a close second for me. Controversial take but I really liked the multiplayer in this game. I honestly think if that multiplayer came out now a lot of people would praise it as one of the best.
Best COD Game Ever Was My First One I Ever Played .❤🎉
Even though it may not be considered the “best” COD, to me it’s my favorite. I played it the most out of any cod and the campaign is arguably the best. It’s tied with BO2. Logan Walker is top 3 best cod protagonists of all time
From the year 2024 CoD is missing stories like this.... sadly over 10 years later and this game will not get a sequel or resolution.
I hate how people hated the multiplayer and the extinction gamemodes, like they didn't even look at the positives of those two and just said "no zombies only aliens? This game sucks"
The extraction from the plane was the same thing in the dark knight rises.
I honestly loved cod ghost I’m not sure why everyone hated it I found it so fun I loved the campaign
I got the game for pc and it was horribly optimized but as a working game i love it and IMO has the best perk/class making system of any cod
We gotta spam Call of Duty to give us Ghost 2. Fuck BO6
Always Confirm the kill!
I still play this
Some of the writing is corny.
Damn, the memories 😿
Anyone else think Hesh sounds like Roebuck from WAW?
Favorite campaign
Ghosts looks good but one criticism is how everyone shrugs off bullet wounds
Many men 50 cent
Ahhh the fish AI
Yall cant outrun me
The closest to a ghosts 2 game would be a true reboot.
I never understood why Logan did have a voice actor. Like he’s the main character you play as and is silent the whole time
we need cod ghost 2.
