Don't forget that Shadow Company was involved in the conflict in Verdansk, where Al-Qatala and Zakhaev's ultranationalists were creating chaos. Shadow Company was tasked to hunt down Zakhaev after they suspected him to be within the Verdansk stadium; thus, they blew the stadium open and decended onto the surface. In regards to the missile crisis, I feel like they just ruined his character by making him a villain; so much so, they then decided to just reintroduce him as an ally again.
If they were smart. They would give him his own Mature Solo, story driven game. Set in his early days as both a solidet and older verison as contractor. But they will never realize this.
He kinda looks like Russell Adler's kid, something about his hair parting and general american patriotism. Him being limited is a little odd but what if he felt he couldn't live up to his father's legacy, both universes were connected with cold war all while infinity ward was developing MWII. It's an out there idea but there's been weirder things that have happened in this series
I don't think he needs a redemption arc because I don't think he's done anything bad to warrant that. All he's done so far is what he's been paid to do or ordered to do.
I love Graves, I feel like if things didn’t go badly in mw2 things would’ve gone better and if shadow and Shepard didn’t try and hide secrets, 141 and shadow would’ve taken down Makarov but unfortunately Allies who became enemies tend to not think of teaming up again and Graves was a badass, he cared deeply for his men and understood why they needed to be that way and shadow was a group of guys who in many eyes may seem bad but in alone they targeted corrupt people and cops and they jsut wanted to fix what Shepard did and wanted to make sure that they got it done before lives were lost
Ngl i wouldve preferred if he stayed good, in mw2 22 he has great interactions with 141 before turning on him but then he'd probably just be a alex 2.0
When alex lost his leg in mw1 im sure he lost most of his mobility and probably cant do what he did in mw1 which is why hes always has to be with someone and cant handle missons by himself
@@seeknnndestroy Well, Graves didn't actually shoot Soap, it was one of his operative who has a happy-trigger finger. I believe that Sherpherd sent Graves to carry the operation and sent TF141 home and use violence if necessary.

Commander is a Naval rank. It would make more sense if Graves were a member of DEVGRU or some other SEAL unit, who left the Navy to form his PMC company. Sure,Graves could have just given himself the title of Commander in Shadow Company. But that rank wouldn't mean anything to him or any of his men if he did not earn it during his actual military service. Being a SEAL who went for the big bucks setting up a PMC company would also fit in with the current reputation of the SEAL community within the larger US Special Ops community,as having a lot of members who focus on self promotion and a payday over keeping a low profile,by writing books, and contributing to the making of SEAL focused movies and yes, video games. Is Captain Price going to start calling himself Colonel Price because the 141 has gone rogue by executing Shepard? No. He's still Captain Price because that was his rank in the SAS before moving over to the 141. Also, US Marines are especially proud of their rank structure, and would almost certainly continue to refer to their highest military rank if they "retired" from military service for PMC work. Commander is not a US Marine Corps officer . The Marine Corps uses US Army Officer rank structure just as the US Air Force and Space Force. Naval officer ranks are used by the US Navy and Coast Guard. Think of the movie "The Rock' when the Force Recon Marines under General Hummel went rogue and seized Alcatraz Island. Nobody called Hummel 'Admiral" even though he was now a domestic terrorist and mercenary. General was the rank he earned during his service and his men continued to address him by that rank.
Can't be much worse than latest MW3 campaign, I was hoping for a better story, the previous 2 revamps were OK but MW3 just feels like Activision weren't really interested in a quality campaign they had chance to continue the great work of MW1 and MW2 revamps but MW3 just didn't hit spot for me. I can only hope the new black ops makes up for it or next years MW4 if there is even going to be one that is. I know one thing I refuse to pay new retail prices so I will wait until I purchase it for £25 which is what I did with MW3; man I'd have been furious if I paid £60 for that as given Warzone is free what exactly are we paying for when story is so weak and short. The deep cover mission on MW3 has to be the very worst mission call of duty has ever done and in 2024, the fans that love COD deserved much more IMO, I was left proper hanging when MW3 ended way it did. Certainly won't be holding my breath expecting any better on the new Black Ops though as it just seems Activision just aren't interested in putting the hard work that a call of duty campaign deserves I mean the story on Vanguard and WW2 were better than MW3/revamped and that's says a lot if they fuck up on new Black Ops they are going to lose so many customers that they won't ever get back. Ive always said the Treyarch led games were better campaigns
I recently finished the story of John SOAP MacTavish link here

A very good and detailed recap. Graves and Alejandro are a solid addition to the Modern Warfare campaign.

Graves as fuck: "🫤"
My favorite new era COD character
i would imagine Graves as Adler's relatives or nephew; becuase his hair, his bits of War scar and his charisma to his comrades until betrayal
Ill forever come back to this video
appreciate you bro
