Yeah I'd watch this regularly if they did an annual/seasonal/whatever. Commentary was great for folks that don't play some of the classes to know what is happening with unfamiliar skills. OTK needs to run their own league doing this more often
Yeah bc the stakes were high and the game play is supper simple to follow. Every major competitor (ziqo, savix, snutz…) said that the farm was gruesome and had negative impact on them. Was supper fun to watch, to participate was not

One thing I really appreciated about Xaryu’s commentary, in addition to his extensive game knowledge and fluency/tone of speech. When the other two or even himself began to sort of favor someone, insert bias, or verge on shit talking or negativity he found a way to catch it and spin it in a more positive direction. I had such a fantastic time watching this on my 2nd monitor while I level my shammy on wrath :)
This was the funnest, most exciting, & most watchable PvP tournament I’ve ever seen by FAR… The amazing commentary truly makes all the difference! Xar needs to do this more often! Lol. Great matchups tho, fair play to all the competitors. Overall great gameplay across the board! ⚔️🧙🏼♂️
yo i gotta just say this tournament was incredible. Not only because it was hardcore. Not only because of all the ups and downs and drama along the way. Not only because of the incredible casting. Not only because of the insanely stacked tournament with literally some of the greatest players to ever touch this game. Not only because of the insane prize pool for a non-blizzard run event... But because of the lack of rules. Initially i thought the lack of rules was a bit sketch... but you know what ive learned? Its kind of crazy how a lot of these limitations that classes have melt away when all the chips are down and they can use anything they want to get the upper hand over some of their less favoured matchups. The level of skill and micro split-second decision making and consumable management etc etc etc the list goes on has been an absolute joy to watch. This tournament will be forever etched into the annals of WoW history. Everyone involved should be super proud.
Not only has this been more pleasant to watch than anything Blizzard ever organized, the fact that the payout was as large as it was was just truly amazing. Great job to OTK and great job Xaryu for the great commentary.

1:08:00 2 explainations on the hunter/warrrior duel. he plays without pet to avoid the taunt before scatter/trap. he also wants to kite for 1 minute because thex all start with diamond flask + healing set, that stays for 1 minute so kitting for 1 minute is mandatory, because nobody has the dps to remove the warrior health bar + the healing diamond flask brings. Finally, the ogre suit, which is from the Dire maul north tribute expands your hit box, and reduce to almost nothing the deadzone. Bery useful against rogues and hunters, especially
what i learned from this SFMG tourney is that there are some SERIOUS skilled PvPers out there and you can NEVER have another tourney WITHOUT xaryu in the commentator box, his energy and genuine excitement is freaking amazing

It was always like this since release of Wow classic. Only spells with additional cc effects (like frost bolt Slow) were effected by spell resistance in PvP. In PvE it worked for all spells.
An adverb modifies the verb, so when Xaryu says someone will "die momentarily," it means they will be dead for a short time, not that it will happen soon.

The Savix dc was brutal. He had a kill set up, full combo, low hp. He took it so well.
I was rooting for him and Soni. If he had lived, he could have defeated Ziqo and saved Soni from that unfair matchup.
