Big fan of the Xar but this whole "Tournament" was poorly organized. None of the rules listed were followed or enforced. 1,500$ isn't life changing money or anything, but to play the Tournament by the rules and lose to things such as Resist pots or using pet trinkets when they were banned in the Tournament just doesn't seem enjoyable. Just my 2cents not that they matter.
I believe the crusader procs provide too much sustain for melee to be beaten at this level

If winning the tourney was all about the preparation like Guzu said, that means the streamers with the most followers will always get to the top right? So next time, why not have a challenge where you cannot trade, join groups for dungeons and all the gear and items used are from what you can actually gather alone? That would be a lot more fair to the rest of the participants, at least in my book
would be way too boring. No items means they just stand there whitehitting each other
Note for next tournament - outlaw magic resist pots. 4/5 resisted fears is too much.

Gravestone scepter is ilvl 29, making it basically an epic at lvl 20 and carrying the casters to victory. Wand specialization for the win.
if you going to have rules then allow people to break them, its a no go for me, this is not just a DUEL people loose their characters permanently, that is not fair at all.

I have two questions:
- how much time does it take those players, to get a toon to level 20 (and equipped like that),
- how is it "enforced" that the character is deleted? Losing a duell does not kill the HC char, does it? Do they trust the player to do it on their own account?
mak''gora is a type of duel where when you lose your character dies. It's a hc game feature

How about doing a tier list for how classes do in mak'gora. With no rules, it is a whole new thing. Maybe even a tier list for different levels (10, 20 & so on) for those of us that want to try it as we level.
