Why would the judge post a sign "after" security check point unless he was trying to get someone in trouble! Spooky judges in Eugene. It's like 1984 in that hick town!
You all need to learn what a nonpublic forum is. Not all public spaces are the same, some can reasonably limit the user's first amendment rights because they are nonpublic forums.
@KingTrumpTheGod Courthouses, Libraries, Universities, Schools, are all nonpublic forums and can restrict filming. I suggest you do some research into the public forum doctrine as not all public spaces are the same. Take for example a public restroom where it is a public space that is open to the general public, it is also a place that the courts have ruled a person can reasonably expect privacy so filming inside a restroom is Illegal. Just because a place says it is public doesn't matter, what matters is forum the government has designated to the space if the space is a nonpublic forum thay have the power to limit or restrict a person's first amendment rights.
Of course, any thing can be restricted, but Oregon State Law requires it be posted at the point if entrance ... not after you are already deep into the building! Just common sense. @@urgreatestenemy
