@@raleigh-durhamnc Yes, and I thought so, I just wasn't sure, because the earliest I remember from childhood is Michael Jordan playing for the Chicago Bulls in 1995, (I was 5 y old then). But I think I read somewhere that it started in North Carolina. Thanks for the info, it's one more reason to visit Raleigh. I understand you have a phenomenal basketball museum as well as American history museums, (I love both subjects) Are there any other famous people who were born in Raleigh? I can't tell you how grateful I am for the information, and the beautiful videos. Yes he sure did! He also grew up in NC-just not in Raleigh! He played for UNC in college. That is a cool idea for a video for sure!
