      mr t The judge's ruling during the court case that is portrayed in Denial: "Irving has for his own ideological reasons persistently and deliberately misrepresented and manipulated historical evidence; that for the same reasons he has portrayed Hitler in an unwarrantedly favourable light, principally in relation to his attitude towards and responsibility for the treatment of the Jews; that he is an active Holocaust denier; that he is anti-Semitic and racist, and that he associates with right-wing extremists who promote neo-Nazism... therefore the defence of justification succeeds... It follows that there must be judgment for the Defendants."

    • @ChetzNation
      @ChetzNation 7 лет назад +1

      Aaron Richards
      Bone crushing machines exist as a time consuming method of rendering bones useable as a fine powder for fertilizing and regulating acidity in top soil. The bones must first have been stripped clean by a butcher, and then boiled or cleaned with maggots, and after this they must be dried, before they can be crushed in the machine.
      I would bet my left testicle these were not used in the holocaust as they more or less require a butchering process and bone treatment process to render the bones crushable. I have not heard of any human butchering factories in Auschwitz. Neither have I heard of any human bone sun drying beds. And even if these existed, they would exist as a full violation of an SS order by Himmler (a violation, as well as not reporting a suspected violation, punished by death) that clearly states the corpses of the interned must not be used in any way and must be buried or cremated, since Himmler feared usage of the corpses would make the public aware of the extremely high death rate in the camps.

      Ron Lewenberg
      The fact you have to resort to the all too common ad hominem fallacy of calling anyone who questions your sanctioned truth 'mentally ill' suggests you're standing on a weak foundation. It is true, Yad Vashem has been able to 'commemorate' four and a half million Jews who in some way disappeared during the holocaust years, according to often unverified third party submissions. Yad Vashem themselves state that the fates of 'many' of these are unknown. In listed names, the number inexplicably drops to two million seven hundred thousand, whose status are either missing or dead, often for unknown reasons. (How often is not stated). The six million total, which is actually averaged around 5.5 million, is based on pre-war vs. post-war population censuses. Ergo, cause of death is not included. Hence, to conclude 'six million jews died in the gas chambers' is, to be frank, simply bullshit. To conclude six million jews died in the camps? Bullshit. As most serious early historians concluded, upwards of two and a half million jews died in the camps, with a total of slightly below five million to five and a half million dying in any way as a direct result of the war, including bombings, famine, sanitation disasters, mass executions in the field (so called 'anti-partisan actions'), riots, massacres, etc.
      Yet apparently, I am mentally insane for saying this. Is that really the best reply you have?

    • @ChetzNation
      @ChetzNation 7 лет назад +2

      Ron Lewenberg _"Yad Vashem listed 4 million Jews or 2/3 of those killed."_
      Yad Vashem estimates that they have in one way or another documented 4.5 million people, either jews or people directly associated with jews (spouses etc) that in some way or another disappeared during the holocaust. This estimate includes Jewish soldiers that fought for the red army, if they are not specified as having died in combat, for instance. Of actually sorted names with complete profile information, there are 2.7 million. The fates of many of these people are unknown too. Yad Vashem does not state a percentage estimate of known vs. unknown fates.
      _"If towns people under German occupation worked with the SS to kill Jews it was part of the Holocaust."_
      This is not what I meant. Many Jews died as the Soviets retreated from their village or city. The Jews were usually detested in the non-Russian SSRs, since a very disproportional portion of the USSR local administration was staffed by Jews. To the Ukrainians, Poles, Belarussians, Balts, etc., the jews, often working for the govt., the police, the NKVD, etc., were seen as traitors supporting the Russian occupation and the various deliberate starvation events and mass executions they staged to control the locals. When the Soviet police and army left a town, there was suddenly no longer anyone protecting the jews left behind (the Soviets disliked the jews too, and would often give them the horrible task of slowing the German assault as the rest of the Soviets evacuated). Angry mobs would often slaughter the jews as a form of 'revenge'. The wehrmacht is known to have at times tried to stop these mobs, but most of the time the standard practice was to simply look the other way until German military police was established in the area (which preferred the more 'clean' deportation option). Are these jews also victims of the holocaust? Can you see my point? What does the 6 million figure actually mean? And great job ignoring most of what I wrote by the way...

    • @ChetzNation
      @ChetzNation 7 лет назад

      Ron Lewenberg
      The nazis were obsessed about having a thin veneer of law and order to cover up their crimes. If the occupied peoples thought there was some sort of justice system going on, they wouldn't revolt. If the nazis shot up a village, it was an 'anti-partisan action', carried out by military 'police' of the SS. Generally, they tried to avoid randomized killing. The only large scale blatant massacre by actual Germans 'in the field' (as opposed to in camps away from the public) was at Babi Yar at Kiev, where the SS and local Ukrainian police killed tens of thousands of jews in what was called an 'anti-partisan action'. I still think you don't understand what I'm saying. The nazis did murder loads of people...

      I remember a chat I had once with a Shakespeare prof. We were discussing Merchant of Venice in relation to Jewish history. I remember he said that in a lot of the countries where the Jewish were kicked out, people in powerful places owed them a great deal of money. Often times when the debts were too high, some sort of rumor or scandal was put out there that put the majority of people against them and they ended up being kicked out of that country. The exact example the professor gave was England. He said that there was a child that was murdered and it was blamed on the Jews by the gov, just after the gov told them they weren't going to pay them back the several million owed them.
      Now I personally haven't done any research beyond what was covered in that class on this subject, so please double check everything, but that was what I got from one of my professors. Still it's food for thought.

      I love it when thirty seconds googling prove someone wrong.
      No. 10: “Anonyma - Eine Frau in Berlin,” 2008, directed by Max Ferberboch. This film with both German and Russian actors focused on “one of the most scandalous themes of World War II: the raping of German women by Soviet soldiers.”
      No. 9: “Haytarma,” 2012, directed by Akhtem Seytablayev. “One of the best Ukrainian films of recent years,” according to Rufabula.com, “it tells the story of the deportation of the Crimean Tatars in 1944.” It has received numerous awards but was banned by the Kremlin from being shown at film festivals in Russia.
      No. 8: “Maidan,” 2014, directed by Sergey Loznitsa. This documentary film, which shows that the Kremlin’s claims about what the Ukrainian Revolution of Dignity was about are nonsense, has “practically no chance” to be shown in Russia anytime soon.
      No. 7: “Purge” (“Puhdistus”), 2012, directed by Antti Iokinen. A film based on the novel of Finnish writer Sofi Oksanen about two Estonian families who suffered under the Soviet occupation, it has already won numerous international prizes but can’t be shown in Russia.
      No. 6: “Walking too fast” (“Pouta”), 2009. Directed by Radim Spacek. Named the Best Czech Film of 2009, it tells the story of a Czechoslovak KGB officer who like “You Know Who” triumphs over everyone but can’t find a place for himself in the system.
      No. 5: “Tangerines” (“Mandariinid“), 2013, directed by Zaza Urushadze. A nominee for the Oscar as best foreign film, this movie can’t be shown in Russia because it attempt to present an honest retelling of what happened in the Georgian-Abakhaz war of 1992, something that doesn’t fit the politically correct matrix of Moscow today.
      No. 4: “Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead” (“Død snø 2”) 2014, directed by Tommy Wirkola. A Norwegian-Icelandic horror comedy, it tells the story of east-west clashes featuring zombies and makes fun of some of the pretensions of certain rulers in power now.
      No. 3: “Warsaw ’44” (“Miasto 44”), 2014, directed by Jan Komasa. A Polish film about the Warsaw Uprising, this film offends some Russian sensibilities by pointing out that the Red Army stood at the gates of the Polish capital long enough for the Germans to destroy most of the Poles who rose in revolt against Nazi rule.
      No. 2: “Crosswind” (“Risttuules”), 2014, directed by Martti Held. A film which has won prizes throughout Europe, this movie tells the story of the deportation of Estonians in June 1941, a few days before the Nazi invasion.
      No. 1: “Rose” (“Roza”), 2011, directed by Wojciech Smarzowski. The film tells the story of the Mazurs, a people caught in the lake region between Russian-Soviet and Polish-Soviet “fires” after the end of World War II. It won the award for the best Polish film of 2012.

    You know David Irving actually came up in my MA history class. The problem wasn't that he had the wrong opinion, which is what this movie seems to say., It was that he falsified evidence and sources in his work, which is a big no in academic history. A fellow colleague of Irving (who admired him very much) was asked to go through the sourced in Irving's work and investigate them all and he found that they were falsified. I don't care what your opinions are but if you make a claim in academic work, you cannot falsify sources.

    At a lecture in Atlanta Lipstadt began denouncing Irving for his “twisted views”, Irving travelled to Atlanta to attend one of her lectures. He surprised her by standing up at the back of the hall and announcing “I am David Irving.” Lipstadt had just had the temerity to tell her gullible students that she possessed a blueprint of the gas chambers showing holes in the roof for fumes to pass through. Irving had pulled out a thousand dollars and challenged Lipstadt to show her students the blueprint. “I’ll give this to you straight away if you can show this blueprint to them,” he said, waving the thousand dollars.
    Lipstadt was mortified. She was unable to produce the non-existent blueprint. Nor has she ever been able to do that, given that no such blueprint existed. And yet she had been quite prepared to lie to her students about this.
    “Lipstadt did not meet this very public challenge,”. Ultimately, she had her revenge in the High Court.”best one money can buy i'm sure ,most who have had entanglements in the high courts whose logo is a kangaroo know that for the most part the Grammarians wear the kippah as part of their legal attire .
    She had her revenge in court? Yes Lipstadt, on the advice of her solicitors, had refused to be cross-examined by Irving in court. She had read none of the original documents in German for the simple reason that her knowledge of German was so minimal as to be virtually non-existent. If she had faced Irving in court, he would have torn her reputation to shreds in two minutes.talk about a rigged court which many are depending on who you are up against and for what .I'm sure if David Irving had been allowed by the chosen ones to cross examine Lipstadt we would not be now entertained by more Hollywood lies as we see here .

      Holocaust denial is prosecuted in countries that have hate laws in their legislations. These hate laws are broad and cover egregious attacks on different minorities and religious groups. Naturally Holocaust denial is considered a direct attack on something central to Jewish history, hence it's inclusion in the hate laws.

The US killed 2 million people (read: civilians) in the firebombings and the atomic bombings in Japan even though they had already issued a complete surrender, yet no one in the US is being imprisoned for denying these atrocious crimes. Communism is responsible for 100 million deaths worldwide, Soviet Russia alone persecuted and executed about 40 million Christians, yet they are not punishing their children for it in the History classes. The fratricidal WWII reaped almost 60 lives (Jews included), so why are the Jews the only victims of this evil war? So even if the 6 million figure is real (it is not), why should I care? in my case I found myself wondering,
      just exactly why DO I believe this?
      I then made a decision to look at what the "deniers" were on about,
      and set out to examine the evidence for myself for the first time in my life,
      put simply,I discovered that there is no credible concrete evidence
      to be found for the means, the plan, nothing.
      it's all "eyewitness" and hearsay, a house of cards,
      one odd thing caught my attention very early on
      the demon mengele seemed to be not so much the doctor of death but rather a kind of lucky charm to life as every other survivor claimed to have met him!
      he even, for some uncountable reason removed one survivors tattoo
      just after she narrowly escaped being skinned for a lampshade
      can't remember if that was before she was pushed miraculously backwards OUT of the gas chamber or before
      any way she managed to escape in the end when someone threw her over a 10 metre barbed wire fence onto a passing train!
      and if you think that is non sense then take it up with Mr Spielberg
      as he put her in his film,which I thought rather desperate if that was the best he could get....
      yeah!! sure, you have to be an antisemite first..........ha!
      no wonder Rampton didn't put dare put lipstad in the witness box,
      far too much at stake,
      Irving would have wiped the court floor with her.

      Lipstadt didn't have to appear, idiot. The alleged libel was committed in three sentences she could hardly deny she'd written. But I take your point: Irving went in and tried to disprove the libellous claim he was a Holocaust denier....by arguing there was no Holocaust!
