You can't add the power unless the base is same.
here powers same so base multiplied. i.e. (3*2)^4.

Sir, in the fourth sum where the third proportionality is given i have noticed that you took 4th proportion as 3rd proportion. In a:b::c:b we should consider C as the third proportion if it is in that general form. But in the video in this particular proportionality
21:42::42:x you considered x as the the 3rd proportion but its in the place of fourth proportion. Can you please explain this sir ?
21:42::42:x so here 21 is 1 proportion and 42 is second proportion and x is third proportion.

Well i was teaching a 7th class student the same topic i also discover that when we write 21:42:x it already mean that 42 is repeating 2 times it is just a way of writing 21:42:x = 21:42::42:x

no, sum of Nr/ sum of Dr= given fraction( here sum of Nr is not equal to sum of Dr)
@@SATISFACT0-96 when there are only 3 quantities given such that it is in continuation then you take (for a,b&c) a:b::b:c. Here c is the mean proportion of a&b so b^2 = ab.
Also, a:c would be duplicate ratio of a:b i.e. a^2:b^2.

see..if a:b=1:2, then we can write it as a/b=1/2 right.?..no switch b and 1...it will be a/1=b/2 right?..so we have 1 as denominator to a and 2 as denominator to b.. initial expression was a:b=1:2, now we made it as a/1=b/2, it means, if we see an expression like 2x/4 : 3y/2, then we can say that 2x:3y=4:2@@ilmahafeez4428
