@@manu-wd8bv sir, teaches lrdi as well
Sir, I'm so blessed that I've got your channel in this quarantine period
God bless you

Sir , in last question of this video youre making the solution quiet tricky ....there is one easy solution of it .......1st product 25% profit SP is 100 then CP is 100×100/125=80
2nd product 14.28% loss SP Is 100 then CP 100×100/85.72=116.65......WHICH GIVES TOTAL CP 196.65 AND SP 200 WE KNOW, THERE PROFIT %=3.35/200×100....=1.67..(Ans)
but Profit is calculated on CP then the answer would be 3.35/196.6 * 100 = 1.70
Method is correct, but the calculation is complex. it's always better to make the calculations simpler. Just an opinion.
I am still in doubt because my answer is 1.69 with the same method as you have used here .
thank you, I too was stuck here, just silly mistakes.@@aditisharma2831
i did it the same way , but profit % must calculated wrt to cp not sp , so in this sense im getting 1.7 as answer
Second last ques 12:56
If purchase price is given instead of selling price, then will there be case of "no profit no loss" ?
After beginning the lecture and dive and indulge in concept and time will pass lecture and end. that always happens in every lecture because of your way to teach ❤️
for the last ques take SP as 100x and find CP in both the cases so now profit= net sp- net cp i.e 200-net cp simple way we will get same ans
it doesn't work man
could u plz elaborate
@@shubhamneurekar3132 see whenever u get questions like this we can assume the value to be 100x and slove the ques so that we can remaining cp,mp easily try it u will get i got
True, this step of solving makes it soo much more easier dude!! Thanks
Sir for question no 2, I have another method. Let's assume CP is x and then SP will become 2x. Then p% = (SP - CP) *100 /CP = (2x -x) * 100 / x = 100% (ans)
but it is mentioned that the profit Triples ? You didn't show the tripling of Profit ?
Am I missing something?
@@theanonymous7552 no you are right.
SP is doubled of earlier SP . You're assuming SP as double of CP
On what basis are you even making SP 2x if CP is x?
On what basis are you even making SP 2x if CP is x?
Im only who have doubt in 1st que. C/S = 4/3 is correct I think ??? Sir giving here 3/4
Yes I also have doubt on it...
Thank you for sharing these methods with us and explaining so well!! Very grateful to Rodha coaching !
in 1st que, if discount is half of profit then difference btwn then would be half of profit i.e 33.33/2 =16.66.
same doubt!!
No no answers is right , the ratio of profit and discount is of there ration in price not in percentage
sir in question 1 if discount is half of profit % that is 33.33% then half of 33.33 is 16.66%. then we get the difference of 16.66%.
Mp 150
Sp 133.33, so discount is 16.66%
but discount is always given on mp so 16.66/150 *100= 11.11% do difference is 33.33-11.11=22.22%
Bhai profit ka half hai discount, na ki profit PERCENTAGE ka dono different hote hai
Now I'm feeling that I can definitely score 99%ile in cat after watching all of ur videos sir
Thank you
Bro....kitna aaya percentile?
mazak h kya?
Can u reply with ur marks
bta bhai kitna aaya?
Ankit be like : bhaiya mere muh se nikal gai 😢
Please do add more videos on Percentages
Are you preparing for CAT!?:)
Superb Concepts Sir. Thanks a Million times 😊🙏🏻🫂
For the last question when we get
Profit =1/59 *100 ==> 1/60*100
then how on the last step when sir wrote :
= 1/6 * 1/10 {if this was for 1/60} ,then where did the * 100 gone ?
as final answer was 1/60 ==> 16.66/10=>1.66 % .
if someone understood ,then please let me know too .
bhai the % symbol u used from that 100 only naa
1/6= 16.66666 not 16.66666%
1/6*100 = 16.666%
Same dought
Sir in 2 nd question, it was mentioned sp doubled. If we take CP=1,SP=2, Profit is 1 which is 100 % but as per Que SP doubles Now SP=4, CP=1, Profit=3 , now Profit %= 300 %. Could you explain ?
if your sp=4 then your cp=2 because sp=2cp as proved in the video, did you even watch the whole solution or are you trolling??
We have to find original profit% and not the profit% after doubling the selling price
@@prerakshah8103 he's right according to your theory how Will you justify the triple profit as mentioned in question ?
Its correct bro.. if SP doubles, then profit triples.... Your original profit is 1, but when you doubles the SP, your profit becomes 3... Which is three times of the orginal profit.... So it's correct.... There's nothing wrong in it ;-)
Don’t worry dear. I am here to explain for everyone. You are saying your profit percent on the second case of selling price( which in this case it is doubled). They are asking you profit percentage for case 1( where sp is not doubled). I hope it clears. 😊
Sir, the first question of this video is complicated because 27 is the selling price and 36 is the cost price but i am confused... How c/s = 3/4 , i think its 4/3 and there should be loss ... I am just confused so please help me
Yes true . But by mistake sir has written 3/4 .
@@HarshPokar No brother sir written it right but we assume this in wrong way .. solve calculation line by line than you realise it was right . I do it so that I know..
@@Hshot03 See bro , cost = 36 and SP = 27 . So , C/S = 36/27 . 3×12 / 3×9 . So , 3 3 will get cancelled . So , it gives 12/9 . 3×4 / 3×3 . Again 3 3 will get cancelled so it remains 4 / 3 . And if you want to see then you can check by calculator. 36/27 and 4/3 the answer will be same .
@@HarshPokar No brother we solve it like this , sp 27= cp 36 right than 36 goes under 27 and sp goes under cp that's the point... So sp is 36 and cp is 27 than you will solve it this is the main equation.. I also confuse in this question but after I under the concept.
In Q1-sir took out profit on CP
But in same kind of Question which sir solve in previous video , he do the same by taking out profit on article sold... Please explain?
YOU MAKE IT EASY
5:00 8:00 11:00 18:00
Kya concepts band questions chain Sir .. waah
Thakns a lot sir concepts r really easy to understand ......
last question approach is amazing
17:08 why cant we solve it by the concept of n/d & n/d+n to find CP 1 & 2 (2700 &4200). However solving like that is showing profit of 300.
5:22 how is discount half of profit?
Maybe the difference would be 33.33 - 1/2(33.33) = 1/2(33.33)
@@harshitpatni8417no it's given that discount on 16 oranges = profit of 8oranges which is equal to 1/2
Solved every question just by (n/d)↑ and (n/n+d)↓ concept
How bro? Especially those first 2 questions
Don't have enough words to praise you 🙏
How doubling selling price gives triple profit😫
Its given in the question
6:00
if 2S=3P
and
S = C + P
2C+2P=3P
2C=P
then P(%) = 200% no >>??
ik im missin something help thanks :)
sir in the last question how can it be in profit when C.P is 59 and S.P is 60 . Sir it will be Loss right ?
No that's profit..
🟠⚪ Great fruitful csat session ⚪🟠
18:30 important
HI All,
At 16:23 Shouldn't we use Multipying factor on 1/24 and make it (25/24) * 700?
then also 7500 will come
Sir, for the question, ' shopkeeper sells two mobile phones for 3600rs each...', how did you calculate, there is always a loss of (x²/100), i didn't get it.
Thankyou so much sir for helping students facing problems in maths!
Is it enough for ipmat preparation?
It is even enough for cat just practice as many questions you can
And solve variety of problem
Quant book of rs agrawal is good for solving arithmetic questions
Sir kindly tell this one….
*If an article is sold at a gain of 6% instead of at a loss of 6%, then the seller gets Rs. 6 more. The cost price of the article is?*
(106x/100)-(94x/100)=6, solve to get x=c.p=rs50
alternatively 12% corresponds to 6 i.e 1%=0.5 therefore 100%=cp=rs50
in the last question, can we take SP as 100 in both cases and find net profit and loss?
yes, much easier , easily you can get net P% = 1.66 %
@@8090abhishek How u will get the same ans. Profit is coming 2%
Divide q. in two parts
Part 1:
Let CP=100 +25% Profit=SP 125
here u get profit of 25 Rs.
Part 2:
Since, SP is same carry 125 SP now calculate MP through SP
by considering LOSS 14.28 i.e. 1/7 as Discount .
when u find both MP and Profit Simply substract (Profit - MP) = (25 - 125/6)
ans. Rs. 4.16 profit now calculate % by 4.16/(Total SP i.e. 125+125)
It will give u 1.664 % ANS
kya question approch hai sir waah
In question 3 can't be solve this question by taking c =x then s = 320x
How does x2/100 hold true in last question
Sir how did u get in 1 st problem 3/4 it is 4/3 na
That's what I also not able to get it .

C/s is 27/36 ..it is cross multiplication
16:12 SP to CP it should be 1/26 ??

can you please explain , i didn't get it
@@RenuYadav-zs8mpHi Renu, I apologize , it was my bad. The answer and method in the last question are perfectly fine. I am also getting the same, now. All the best for CAT.😄 I shall delete my comment 😂now
@@himanshumakwana336 no problm yr ...actually got confused . All the best for Cat yo too.
sir, in the first question CP/SP should be = 4/3 . isnt it ??
No it'll be 3/4 as in 27s=36c , s will go in the denominator on the right hand side and 36 will go in the denominator of left hand side making it c/s=27/36 i.e. 3/4.
Agar me ye kahun ki yha dono jha denominatior word use karna glt ho skta h to aap kya btana chahenge .
Ere mtlb kehna kya chahte ho ?

17:00 net loss is x2/100 he talkign of losso n only one prod bfor that!!!
Thank you sir

Dhanyawad
Thankyou sir
17:00 y arent they using 20 % then y 4 % wtf
In the last question I assumed CP= 100 , its giving me wrong answers please correct me..
CP = 100 profit= 20% S.P = 125
CP = 142.9(after 1/7) loss = 14.28 ,S.P = 125
TCP = 242.9
TSP = 250
Profit = TSP - TCP => 7.1
Profit % =( 7.1% 242.9)* 100
= 2.3%
So i am getting 2.3 % as answer can anyone explain why this is wrong method or answer 24:02
take sp as 100 ....1 st product cp = 80 , 2nd product cp 116.66
total cp 196.66 total sp 200 then profit % is 1.66
Thank you so much sir.❤❤
17:29 how 4% is equal to 1/25?
100/25 is 4%
Thanq sir
🙏just too good sir
But sir in 320% ques sp is constant not same
Constant or same me diff ky h 😅 constant bhi whi value same bhi whi 😅
@@hfpkr20 same ka matlab hota hai
Koi value change nahin ho rahi hai if it is 20 then after certain time it will be 20
But constant ka matlab hota hai ratio maintain kar kar rakhna like if it is 20 and then 40 the next will be 60 and then next will be ITI constant means something is getting changed but with same difference
when you do math after Meth
nice concept
Conceptual clarity
Can someone tell me how 1/60 × 1/10 get 1.66 , how 10 get in upon.
Hey Nakul, Total CP = 59, Total SP =60. So, Profit % is SP-CP/CP*100 = 1/59*100. Took 1/60*100 which is 1.66 % (around as 100/60 = 16.66 but here we have 100/59) hope it helps.
@@shrutigautam9383 Thanks Shruti, I got that but we assumed 1/59 as 1/60 so the answer is 1.66 but we added 1 more in denominator why don't we subtracted 1/1 from 1.66 ? Because we did 59+1=60 . So it should be subtracted
@@nakulkaushal4473 That value is negligible, we took approximations here for the sake of easier calculations
look 1/60 x 100 is 1/6 x 10 which means 16.66%/10 that's equal to 1.66 %
