      Unfortunately, backing a trailer is a perishable skill and has minor differences between different trailers especially depending on the trailers length. Practice makes perfect so anytime you're in a truck with a trailer, take a few minutes to find a place safe to back it up and give it 20 minutes of your time to practice backing in

      Being nervous is a good thing, keeps you focused. Just remember, if you lose sight of the back of the trailer, turn right. Too much angle makes it turn faster so watch the passenger landing leg. Turn toward the trailer to straighten up

    • @Whogives2shets
      @Whogives2shets  2 года назад

      Unfortunately, it's not a step-by-step process, it's a skillset. There is no way to say back up 18ft, turn wheel left, back up 10 more ft, straighten wheel, then proceed backwards until complete.
      The trailer has many variations that effect what happens each time a different operator moves it, how the terrain is where your practicing, if you have the wheel truly straight, etc. You have to know how to react depending how the trailer moves and that's what the video and your instructor's are there for.
