This Trucking Game may not be a view from inside the cab, but it's the most realistic physics that a truck makes where you get to understand how to truck operates in reverse. American Truck Simulator (ATS)and European Trucking Simulator 2 (ETS2) are the best trucking games that you get, and I recommend that you play them, but my game is created for people to just get used to reversing a trailer.
I have heard from so many users that truck schools across the country use my game and use my videos to show their students how to back up.

And remember, keep your speed dead slow, slow truck, fast hands and your trailer will be more responsive to steering inputs. The biggest mistake I see drivers making at truck stops and docks is they care to much about the impatience of other drivers. Take your time and you'll get it right the first time!
I've hit the hole many times in one shot with no pull-ups. Those times all have the same thing in common: Slow and steady.
Yes, exactly! If people just relax, they will annoy others a lot less because they will get in faster. Slow is fast and fast is slow.
This is the best answer. just slowly and without haste, no matter how long it takes you, just ignore others, until you are 100% sure that everything is as it should be. and if you need, don’t be lazy to go out and If you nedd 10x to check your right and back side not to hook someone.
I like the tip from all 4 of these comments and for the advice it's appreciated I to will soon be on the road and backing in with a tatiler is one thing I'm I need to work on i only drove tractor/trailers forward in my experiences so far
Wtf are you talking about ???
First time in an artic today, nervous as hell on the way up to Scotland as I knew I'd be reversing onto a bay when I got there. Studied this video in depth beforehand, followed the instructions when I got there and it made it SO much easier getting it onto bay so thank you for doing this vid 💪🏻
Awesome setup every time I get new driver for ride along I make sure I make them watch at least 10 of your videos and trust me thay learn more from you then me. Keep up the good work
That's brilliant to hear!!
I wish my trainer taught me backing skills because I’m still scared of backing. It takes me a bit longer but I am learning better by watching these videos!
@@shannonharris9695 Once you realize that if you make it 90 degree the tractor-trailer angle then you can pivot the trailer around one point...(while dragging some tires sideways) to back into tight spaces...
And using T junctions to turn around when lost...
Life will be easier...
@@electricaviationchannelvid7863 isn't that bad to do for the truck?
@@seanb2605 For the tires it can be bad...depends how many axels you have, axle spacing, heavy load and road surface...You can get the tires off from the rims with a heavy load high angle manouver on a dry pavement...or you can rip up the pavement if it is more soft...These are the things that you can not teach to an AI...
The set up is everything. If you don’t get a good set up, you are done.
This is TREMENDOUS I BEEN UP FOR DAYS STUDYING MY SET UPS, this has helped me immensely my man, appreciate you taking time out your day passing on the Knowledge 💯
At my job I am exposed to a lot of tractor trailers. So e of these guys are really good. Even with trailers on both sides, they pull right up and back in even with not much room to pull forward to try and straighten things. A lot of the other truckers, though, they take 10 minutes or more constantly pulling up and backing up. I remember a lady who was so nervous she almost broke down crying. Another driver from another company spotted her and guided her back into the dock. One of the most heart warming things I've ever seen. ❤️
I had to help a guy back his truck because he he said he couldn't do it after driving all day and he was very thankful that I helped him.
I’m a new driver and been learning from you a lot. Thanks for taking the time to teach us how to maneuver and park a trailer
You are very welcome.
Back in '82 a few older drivers talked about being able to think of an overhead view of your tractor and trailer while your moving and turning , that helped me and others also . Take your time , it's goina work out o k .
Saw this on my recommended page and now I can improve my trucking on ATS. Great video! ;)
Skilled truckers are greatly under appreciated !! This is a rare skill !
This video helped me a ton. Yesterday I couldn't back up where I wanted the trailer to go. Today I managed to back up 15 times with no issue. Thanks.
Just got my CDL and my company didn't teach me my dedicated backing like they should have. Your channel is a life saver
Me too
Excellent! Wish they used some drone footage at the UPS hub in Denver when I started driving Feeders. But luckily 60 hours a week for years moving trailers in the hectic cramped ass yard forces you to figure this stuff out.
Yes the video I was looking for. I’m going to start driving a skateboard with spread axle and I can only do 45s.
That was a great setup and back, almost seemed like you didn’t have to pull up. 🔥👍
Great video, My trainer taught me how to do a 45, but on my own I find my setup to be Rusty, your videos have been such a help in having a better understanding on how to get yourself backing on the right track.
I do the 45 almost every time and still have to readjust more than once most of the time. But you pointed out something I have forgotten over time. Thank you
All I can say is God bless you for sharing your knowledge with us 🙏🏻 I really appreciate it
I live in Norway and we have little tiny parking space and they teaching us in a different way, this was easy to learn. 🙏🏻
Great demonstration!! 7 years ago no one articulated properly how to alley dock! Always room to learn, THX!!!
🎯🎯🎯
Your videos on backing are the most educational and informative of any I have found after countless searches. I use them as a foundation for the 'Process' of all my backing.
Another GREAT video. My brain works in "angles" too so I can totally relate to your teaching style. Thanks for the simple and clear editing as well as the addition of the protractor on the steering wheels. You are the best in my opinion my friend. Thank you.
Thx man!!
I'm a new driver got my license three weeks ago I just got my first job last week it's here in Texas in the Oilfields I find myself on locations with very limited space I just seen this video i'm sure it will help thank you for posting your contents
I second that emotion.
After years of drinking doubles. Now retired.
I'm the person who backs up and gives you room lots of room.
Not fun being stomped by an elephant. And I like my Chevy.
The Cummins weighs more than my entire car, with me in it.
I have a great skill, I get the hell out of the way.
I've found when I do, I stay healthy.
Best video I seen on backing for me so far. I like when he tells you what way to turn wheel
Short and sweet and hard to beat! Great video
Love, love, love these vids. Just downloaded the simulator and took away the pesky ads. Keep doing what you do to help the trucking community
Best video yet. The graphics are awesome. You're a great teacher.
Once I was in my car and a truck like this one was manoeuvring carefully to do such a move. It was a busy street at rush hour and because of it, there was a long line of cars that were stuck. I was the first in that line. Once he succeeded, the driver looked at me with a face of embarrassment, as if he felt bad for preventing the cars from circulating. Then I clapped and smiled, hoping he would understand I was genuinely impressed by his skills. Then his face lit up and he was happy. Good job, truck drivers!
This is definitely the best video on backing I’ve seen. I’m doing ok right now. I was really good until I started pulling double for seven years. Now I’m bumping docks again. I’m eager to get to backing the way I did it before. This video really helps. Thanks.
One of the best explained videos ive seen so far...thx
Why am I watching this? The largest thing I've driven is a panel van. Great video, like button smashed.
Man thank you so much for this video.. I'm new at this operating yard goat at work and working on my class A and believe me this video has helped me get this down thank you again
This one is tremendous. It matches what I will need to do on my backing test. The dimensions don't allow for a genuine "alley dock."
Thank you so much bro I just got a job and I’m having to move tankers like no less than 6 inches apart and his video totally helps me
Thank you, now I can back to eurotruck simulator🔥👌
Thank you!!
Your technic helps a lot, on daily basis,
really a appreciate that Sir!
Thank you for your excellent teaching skills
Been driving for 4 yrs flatbed and somehow I missed this channel this is absolutely perfect thank you for making. I can typically get into right spaces pretty well but with lots of slow calculated adjustments because my set up is a little off, or maybe the space in front is tight or maybe the spread is a little sporadic but these might help me dial it in and get more smooth thanks for the videos this is great
one thing to note is watch your cables when cranking hard, my company locks the 5th wheel all the way to the back position, so if using a continuous supply cable (the curly one) it could get caught under the mudflaps during your first turn
I guess this only applies to American trucks.
When I was in school we called this a 12 and 9. Backing is usually the hardest and most stress inducing thing for a new driver. Like anything though once you practice it enough it get easier until one day you wake up and it makes sense. I always tell new drivers you need to learn the size of your vehicle and the angles needed to accomplish your goal. Unfortunately you won't always have the space for this type of back.
Here in Europe not often we have the space to manoeuvre like that a few yards I go in got to basically Jack knife to get onto bays or even in and out of some yards but still good video to learn basics off even over here
nicely done. never be afraid to take a pull up 🙂
As a former shunter that did atleast 50 moves per shift, this is the way 100%. 1st shot every time.
I’m a new trucker driver , this vídeos help me a lot , thank you so much
Appreciate these videos brother they really help a lot!
Good job man..keep on Rocking !
Thank you so much your video was so helpful to me been driving a year your video was step by step thank you 🙏
You are the best. The best on RUclips for trucking hands down.
Thanks man!!😁
These techniques are VITAL for new drivers to learn as soon as possible!
Backing is always my biggest weakness. Thanks to your video I know where to turn and etc.
Funny forget to download my new have, My Trucking Skills on iOS, Android and the PC. It's free to try.
Very precise. By watching you I realized my mistake was turning to the right after going back straight 2-3 feet. I am going to do it your way from now onward. Thanks
WoW what a great video!!!! Thank you for pisting!!!
This is good 👍...great for those pulling trailers.
Brilliant and pure gold....
Excellent video 👏🏼 thanks
Excellent! Thank u!!
get out and look. Saved me so many times.
Well done!!!
Love this setup
Thanks I needed to see this I appreciate the information 💯
Yes I got it, thank you very much to share your idea how to Park
Learned this and more at Schneider National finishing school in Indianapolis.
From 3 years of OTR with refers and vans I can remember only dozen times I had tandems all the way back.
Very helpful thank you!
Nice videos very informative tutorial Thanks for sharing Sir God bless you always
very well taught. tks u so much.
So very much helpful.
Awesome software for trucking 👍👍
Excellent video
Brilliant. This is very similar to the Swift system.
This just came up in my recommendations... I'm an office worker, who will likely never drive anything more complex than a ute with a trailer boat. But if I ever need to reverse a b double, I'll be fucking ready baby!
Help me a lot thanks 😊
Respected sir 🙏, its nice informative video👍
Nice video you helped me alot thank you
So much easier from overhead. 👍
Best lessons in world
Lot off sanks
Thank you
Thanks for the ETS2 tutorial
Lol, i like how the trailer is sliding in to the spot
Huh?
Thanx for this video bro
Very nice job
tres bien bonne course mercie conducteur
If we can’t get it after watching this we just won’t get it lol perfect man thanks 😊
Thanks for simplifying!
Get out and look, always helps.
Nice job
Nice landmarking. Easy to remember
I do this approach, except instead of keeping my wheel straight, I crank all the way to the right to jackknife and then just chase it back.
I looked for truck driving tutorials like this to improve my driving skills at Euro Truck Simulator 2 😍
I do have a couple ets2 tutorials here
@@MyTruckingSkills I would love to see them from your Channel!
oooh yes you help me thank you
Thanks
Hello i'm Dominican from Pennsylvania if this is not the best video I have seen it is one of the best
Thank you very much!!☺️
@@MyTruckingSkills I'm a recent graduate so I'm trying to perfect my backing up.
Why am I watching this?
I have no idea
Did I enjoy it?
Hell yeah)
Excellent video, but out at most of the stops I used remove about 15 feet of distance between rows.
Great times but glad I'm not cdl driving anymore
Thanks bro
After 1.5 million miles backing up is easy. I drive the trailer when doing so. Hand placement on the steering wheel has a lot to do with it. Top or bottom the rear will react a certain way. Small increments in turning it helps. Aim the rear towards the target point and put it there.
Now I know how to back up a semi if I ever need to back up a semi.
My Grandma Patricia (Covenant transport, PRIME), R.i.p And Uncle Ron Jolly (HARTT) R.i.p My hats off to you both and all truckers reading this. I say FUCK THAT!!!! I can't even get this right in GTA 5 and trust me, I try a LOT! Y'all got balls O' Steel! Thank you all for your hard work!
That was awesome
Good tutorial video I let my students watch this before holding the wheel
Thank you very much for those kind words
It’s all in the set up
